  1. I still have a special place in my heart for Predator so that is my favorite. Although a close second is Last Action Hero, as bad as that movie is I love it anyways. It has so many great quotes.

"Hey Claudius. You killed my father! Big mistake! "

"I'm sorry to disappoint you but you're gonna live to enjoy all the glorious fruits life has got to offer - acne, shaving, premature ejaculation... and your first divorce. "

    "No sequel for you. "

And I never get tired of seeing Arnold punch a car window in the real world and hurting his hand. Or in the movie world where he falls into the tar pits and then 3 minute later has cleaned himself completely off with a paper towel. And of course you can't trust F. Murray Abraham because he killed Mozart. Just really funny stuff.

EDIT: I'm curious about that little blip "Featuring Arnold's original audio track" in the lower right corner of that poster for Hercules in New York.

  2. For anyone who's actually seen There Will Be Blood, do you think Paul Dano was ROYALLY snubbed this year? He was awesome, and should be in that top 5. Not for a win, but definitely the 3rd place nom that could break through after vote splitting.
  3. I love Juno and glad it got nominated for a bunch of awards. The lack of anything Zodiac pisses me off though. I thought for sure maybe a Best Cinematography at least. I don't know how you can think it's the weakest Oscars though as there's no real "it's going to win everything" movie. I'd say No Country and There Will Be Blood have an equal chance and maybe Juno will get the surprise win, which I would love. And Ellen Page deserved a Oscar for Hard Candy let's hope they give it to her for Juno.

  4. Must be a guy thing. Went on a date with a guy who took me to see this. Blah. The gore didn't bother me it was just really lame. Also, the guy kept trying to grab my thighs which didn't help the movie going experience.

  5. Did anyone else realize there was more than one monster? The monster at the end, looked different than the first monster? Am I right or did I just not see it correctly? Cuz I've seen the movie 3 times now. The whole thing about the ending really being the start is the video footage from the night the monster attacked, was recorded over a tape that Rob, Main Character, took of himself and Beth, love interest, a month back. So throughout the movie, it cuts back and forth, like the camera didn't pick up certain stuff, so it went back to the original footage, then back to the current events.

They could easily do a sequel, not that it's really needed. Now another question, was Lily the only person to survive or did her copter go down too? Cuz he didn't say her name or anything at the very end.

Lily lived. Or I should say we never see her die. And since Rob doesn't see her die then he assumes she's alive.

And there's only one monster. Abrams and Reeves confirmed this.

  7. Well let's put it this way. It's a dome stadium so weather will not be an issue which means The Patriots can go back to a solely passing attack which we know The Giants are weak against.

The only way the Giants are winning this game is if they outscore The Patriots which I just don't see happening, especially in perfect conditions like those that will exist.

    Final Score 35-17

  8. Fantastic movie. Couple of scenes I nearly jumped out of my chair. Saw a couple scenes from places I remember walking by when i lived in NYC which was sweet.

Also I saw the thing splash the water at the end. Looked really big. Also, we stayed until after the credits and you her a whisper, my friend who's been all over the message boards found out its a backmasked message that says "It's still alive!". SEQUEL!

  10. Yeah San Diego can offensively match up well with the Pats, if they do it right. They should come up with a couple of formation that use all 3 of the RBs, maybe run LT at TE and have Turner and Sproles as split backs. You could attack alot of ways from that formation and it'd be hard for the Pats to ever be prepared for it.

Defensively they have to lock down Moss and disrupt the short passing game. Jacksonville locked down Moss but allowed Brady to sit there and toss short passes over and over and it killed them. San Diego has to disrupt that or they won't have much of a chance either. I do think they have a slighty better chance than most people are giving them.

  11. Juno was a well done film but Ellen PAge really irks me for some reason..I thought she came off the same as she did in Hard Candy, same attitude and whatnot. No Country For Old Men is definetly the best film I saw this year, Im glad Javier took home some gold for his role at least.
