Never even heard of this movie until I just saw the trailer. Looks amazing. Sounds and looks like the first really dark CG movie that's going to come out.

Got to see the Patriots/Cardinals game on TV, was fun to watch Arizona get completely killed. Seemed like they had no idea how to handle the snow. Seriously, does anyone think Arizona will do anything in the playoff's?
Frustrating when teams that deserve to be in can't get in but teams that have no business in the playoff's can clinch in week 13 or whatever.

Well I'm sad that The Patriots are pretty much out of the playoffs minus a miracle. BUT...I love seeing The Cowboys get humiliated. So I say it's a wash for me.

Serenity 2 or The Rundown 2.

Giants/Jets would be the first Superbowl I wouldn't care to watch.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP)—A Minnesota judge has blocked the NFL’s suspension of Vikings stars Kevin and Pat Williams for violating the league’s anti-doping policy.
Hennepin County District Judge Gary Larson issued a temporary restraining order at the players’ request on Wednesday, saying he wanted more time to hear arguments in the case. No further hearing date immediately was set.
The Williamses were among six players suspended for four games for testing positive for a diuretic that can be used as a masking agent for steroids. They have argued that the substance containing the diuretic didn’t list all its ingredients.
The Vikings are 7-5 and in first place in the NFC North, with the Williamses a big part of their success.
Wow. Just wow.

It wasn't a comedy. It was a drama that happened to be set in a comedy show, which made you think it was a comedy. The only times it ventured into sitcom territory were scenes like "I can't wait for something funny to happen, I have to make something funny happen" followed by Matt accidentally destroying his window with a baseball bat.
Sitcoms, as a general rule, don't have multi-episode arcs involving a hostage situation in Afghanistan.
I always thought it was a comedy with moments of drama.
Maybe not sitcoms from the mid-09's but when you look at sitcoms like Scrubs and The Office, you'd be hard pressed to find a series of shows that didn't have to do with an ongoing story arc.

Wasn't really a sitcom though.
Sure it was. It was a comedy with recurring characters set in a specific place. It just didn't have a laugh track but neither did Arrested Development.

Studio 60. I'm the only one who seemed to like it, but oh well.

I'll stick with True Blood, thank you.

So...Joey Porter is an idiot then.

I will now only watch Thor if Triple H is cast as the lead, holy shit that would be awesome. It would get him away from wrestling for a bit and have him cast in a role that would be fucking amazing for him, I thinks.
Because Triple H's acting ability has proven to be anything Kenneth Branagh would look for?

Casino Royale (the Daniel Craig one), just because in a relatively simple opening the manage to completely rewrite James Bond as a character.

Looks alright to me.

That is absolutely not true. I've seen pretty much every game the Patriots have played this season and I've never noticed Welker being afraid to take a hit. I think it's more a fact that he's just not getting the opportunity to score. I mean to call him not productive is just plain wrong. This season Welker has the most yards of any Patriots WR. Two years ago he had just as many yards after 16 games then he does now only after 10. He's averaging 10 receiving yards a catch and for 72 receptions that's pretty impressive. Then you look at last year the guy had over 112 receptions for 1100 yards. He's only 400 yards behind where he was last year and that's without Tom Brady or a consistent effective running game.
You can't just look at his TD's with Welker.
Receptions and yards do not equal points. You can't win games without scoring which is why using yardage as the way to rank teams on offense and defense is retarded. I'll take a guy who has 60-70 catches for 900 yards with 8+ TDs over a guy with 100-120 catches for 1100-1200 yards with only 3-6 TDs every year. Welker is a glorified part of the running game. A top receiver mixes in a TD every 8-12 receptions. In his entire career he's caught 274 passes, and has all of 10 TDs, while Anquan Boldin has caught 10 TDs this season, and he even missed a couple of games due to injury.
Okay, but the point right there is that Welker is used differently then Boldin. They do not use Welker as a deep threat or a TD Machine. They use Welker because he is the kind of the guy who will consistently make catches and get yards.

And is it asking too much for Wes Welker to actually, yannow, SCORE? The catches are great, but a TD would be even better.
Welker reminds me of that similarly sized white guy on Texas Tech (Morris?) who basically dives into the ground to avoid contact on a crossing pattern. I know that smaller guys need to pick their spots, but there's a distinct difference between play smart and being afraid to take a hit to get a first down/TD. I think Welker falls into the latter category which is why he has 1 TD this year out of 66 catches, which is almost identical to what he did two years ago (1 TD/67 receptions). He might be the least productive "name" receiver since Me-Shawn Johnson (2001 season, 106 catches, 1 TD)

Wow, Patriots are just stinking the place up.

Me and my friend just beat it in about 6 hours or so. Awesome game, even made us both cry at one point (if you've gotten far into it you'll know what part).
-
Yeah but I really liked the Dawn of the Dead remake though.
-
I think it's a great song. Not sure what's wrong with it.

I totally hooked on this game, although I find myself having to run around and find ammo more then run run around and complete quests. Still, the most compelling videogame I've played in awhile.
-
I was really loving this game until the Star Destroyer level. I would move the thing three times but then after that the TIE's would come out to quickly for me to make any sort of major change in the ship's positions. I just grew frustrated and read both endings so I didn't have to bother anymore. It's too bad because I was really liking it.

W?
in Movies & TV
I really wanted to like it because I like Oliver Stone and the acting all around was fantastic...but I hated it. It was just so cookie cutter, really. The behind the scenes stuff like the whole planning to attack Iraq stuff was great but the back story of Bush was just boring and uninteresting.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button - 10/10
I'm a sucker for a movie that makes me cry and this movie made me cry about 20 times. Also, 20 year old Brad Pitt was enough to make me melt.
