  1. I am not sure how many people are still watching but I am and tonight is the live season finale. It is down to Sergio Mora and Peter Manfrado Jr. My pick is Peter, he just seems to be the better boxer to me altough I could be wrong. The match is scheduled for 12 rounds as far as I know but I am not sure. I am just wonder who you guys thought was going to win.

  2. Yeah I was watching the Indians game since I live here and he just got a good pitch and blasted it to center field. Now if some other the team could start hitting like that. A useless fact to go with this, there have been 7 homers by AL picthers during interleague play now four of which have been by the Indians(Dwight Gooden, Dave Burba, Jason Davis, and C.C.) It is just werid.

  3. Actually almost the entire Greek team was made up of Americans for the Olympics. Baseball isnt a very popular sport in Grecce so they had been allowed to use forigners most from the US so that the host country was able to participate in the Olympics.

  4. By saying weaken one team, by splitting them, they still have the talent to beat certain countries.

Still, it gives them an increased chance, even by weakening them. I'm sure the almighty US-of-A can beat certain countries that are in, with just however many players there are in a game of baseball, because its a much bigger sport in America.

Although Japan do own you, since they did invent the sport, right?

  5. If anything it would be giving the other countries more of a fighting chance. The only places Baseball is big is in Southeast Asia, North America and that is pretty much it in other world cups they dont just throw in terrible teams, so why should this be any different. It would be all right if the US had more then one team this time around but as Baseball popularity in other countries increases then it will be able to go to World Cup like other sports where all teams are qualifing to get in.

  6. It also will be good since Teams cannot block players from participating, although they might bring in rules to limit apperances/innings. Also is pretty cool since it sounds as though they are going to be playing the games all over the world, well atleast for the Asian teams. It will be cool to see if the US is able to stand up to the rest of the world Major leagueurs.

  7. It is also possible that Veronica told Weevil that she couldnt get ahold of Logan and she need him to look for him since she knew he would probaly be in a bad state. It has been shown that Weevil is tough on the outside but really on the inside he is forgiving. Kristen Bell is hot along with being a good actress which is great if this show wasnt against some of the shows it was up against or on a different network it would be doing better IMO. It really is in the same boat as Arrested Development, crittical acclaim but little to show for in the ratings.

  8. I am surprised that the Indians were able to split the seris with LA Angels. The starters for Cleveland all pitch well against good Angel bats especially Millwood who finally showed some signs of what they hoped he would be in pitching a 1 hit 8 inning game. I just hope they can bring the pitching home for the upcoming homestand.

  9. Well the season finale was last night and I think it was pretty good in rapping up this season and getting ready for the next. Also there is a pretty good possibility that the first season will come out on DVD, so that people can see the show and tune in for next season atleast that what the people at the show are hoping. Anyways for those that watch I was wondering what you thought?

  10. I havent really heard anything about this movie up until recently. I liked the last remake of the Dawn of the Dead so I will probaly go and see this one when it comes out on June 24th. I have a soft spot in my heart for mindless zombie killing  so this is the movie for me. Here is a link to the tralier and so movie info too: Land of the Dead

  11. I am dissapointed in my Indians team so far this year. There late season run gave me some hope for this year even though they did falter down the stretch last year. The bullpen has been 100 times better then last year. For example by this time last season David Riske one RP had a fat ERA at this time but this year he hasnt yet gave up a run(as far as I know). The bats that were coming alive last year and were the reason they did so well last year have gone quiet so far. Hafner had gone the whole month with out a HR but now he is starting to come around and I hope the rest of the team does as well.

  12. Thats werid cause I did too I dont know what it was about his daughter but it just made me dislike her. Jesse really landed some shots and Anthony got knocked down a first time and that was pretty much it. He got up again but was a zombie after the first knockdown. Jesse was just laying into him at that point and Anthony fell again and the refree stopped the fight.

  13. Yeah it seems as though the books get more mature as you go along. I forget when the next book comes out does anyone know(that is if there is a realese date) I got it resevered anyways.

EDIT: Nevermind I just checked Amazon and it said July 16th I believe.

  14. Galloway past his prime, Hillard hasnt even had a 1000 yard season and it isnt like he put up huge numbers last year he had 437 yards and NO TDs, also Clayton is a rookie he is a wait and see he could be good but who knows and the same goes with the running backs for TB the are all ok or average nothing spectaular. I would rather have one really good RB then a bunch of alright RB.

  15. I know that there was a small group of people that were watching Veronica Mars at the beginning of the season, anyone still watch it. The season finale is next Tuesday and it has gotten picked up for another season. It really isnt like any other show right now so that is what has kept me intrested (also fact that Kristen Bell is hot). Anyways does anyone still watch the show and what do you think of the events that have happened to this point?

  16. From Espn.com

CLEVELAND -- Browns tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. complained of chest pains after he was injured in a motorcycle accident, but the team said his injuries aren't life-threatening.

Winslow was riding in a community college parking lot Sunday when he hit a curb at about 35 mph and was thrown from the motorcycle, Westlake police Lt. Ray Arcuri said.

Winslow was taken by ambulance to Fairview Hospital and was transferred to the Cleveland Clinic on Monday where the team's medical staff would treat him, Browns spokesman Bill Bonsiewicz said.

"He went over the handlebars and was real evasive about what the injuries were," Arcuri said.

The 21-year-old Winslow had minor visible injuries. He was wearing a helmet, but it wasn't strapped on and flew off his head, Arcuri said. He landed in a landscaped area at the edge of the parking lot, falling hard enough to tear out a small tree.

He and four other men were riding motorcycles in the parking lot, not far from Winslow's home in suburban Cleveland. There was no alcohol involved, Arcuri said.

"The four gentlemen said he was testing the bike out learning to ride," Arcuri said.

Winslow purchased the 2005 Suzuki GSX-R750 last month. He could face charges of reckless operation and operating without a valid driver's license because he didn't have a learner's permit, Arcuri said.

The first-round draft pick missed nearly all of his rookie year with the Browns after breaking his right leg against Dallas in Week 2 while attempting to recover an onside kick in the final seconds.

Winslow had five receptions for 50 yards in his first two pro games.

He has had two operations on the leg and said in March that he expected it to be fully healed for this season. Winslow signed a six-year, $40 million contract with the Browns, but lost a $5.3 million bonus because of the leg injury.

  17. Speaking of the maps did anyone buy them. I did, I may be impatient but I wanted to try them out. Turf is pretty good and Sanctuary is ok they are both relatively small levels. Anyways if any one got the maps and is looking for someone to play I will probaly be on. My Gamertag is GreenDemon17

  18. Altough I am looking forward to Madden like I usually do I am looking forward to NCAA Football 2006 even more. They tweaked a few things such as random discpline penaltys(atleast it was that way fore me). They also have added a pretty big feature in putting in season recruiting into the game and also the Race for the Hesiman feature which looks pretty cool. I found a preview of the game here: NCAA Football 2006 Has anyone heard the date that this is coming out on?

  19. I am pretty happy with the Browns first day picks, they got some immediate help with Edwards and will have time to hopefully groom Charlie Frye into a starter. I am hoping that they will go with some more defesive picks tommorrow.
