Since getting a PS3 I can't use my memory for Smackdown 2008 anymore. So should I start again with the internal memory card or is it worth trading in for the PS3 version?

And I'm on the Robert assassination, and I can't find a 3rd informant for the life of me. I got the one where you pickpocket the soldier when he was talking to the Templar, and the one where the guy that looks like Altair makes you do a mission. But I can't find another one so I can start my assassination memory, damnit!!

I'm sure I read somewhere that their was recently a patch put on the playstation store allowing 40gb PS3's to play PS2 games in PAL areas. I'll see if I can find it somewhere.

EDIT: I think I saw it on Wikipedia. And after looking through the playstation store and playstation 3 pages, I can't find the information again. So it probably wasn't true.

The Homepage got me interested. But I think I'll take Mattman's word for it about the game being the definition of crap.

If you wanted you could go there yourself and simply type in the name of the movie you want to find the characters for. The above website has countless movie titles and they have both the names of the characters as well as the actors/actresses who played them.

On a personal note i wouldn't really use my lists as refrences or anything like that to make sure you didn't miss somebody. What i would do personally is go on the above website and look down the charactert/actors lists they have for those movies and select whoever you want to have in the promotion (since this is your game)

There may be somebody i missed who you want or something like that.

I simply made the lists up as best i could picking people who where either major characters or important characters or at the very least characters who could be used in a wrestling promotion.

I'm not sure about The Dead movies, but the Universal Horror series is another good idea. I can't say I've seen those movies, though, and I don't believe there's a compilation I could pick up...if you or someone else were up to making the stats, I'd be open to adding it.

When reading about Universal Horror on wikipedia, I found another series I'd missed: the recent The Mummy trilogy. What's EWR without The Rock, anyway?

Another idea to improve on this is to combine movies based on DC Comics characters (characters from only Batman and Superman, as to my knowledge those are the only movies) into one promotion, and movies based on Marvel Comics characters (characters from Captain America, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, The Punisher, Daredevil, Hulk and Ghost Rider) into another promotion.

I have about 20 guards chasing me, whenever I kill the last one the game freezes. I've done it twice and its frozen straight after killing the last guard. Is this a common glitch? Do I need to spend like an hour trying to hide from them all? Or should I just take my copy back to the store and get it replaced?

As far as I have read, you cannot use old guitars on the PS3. Some of this adapters do recognize the guitars, but they have serious lag issues, or they cannot recognize the whammy bar, among other faults. It's a less than perfect experience.

Is there anyway of getting my PS2 guitar to work on my PS3?

And if the answer to the first question is no, will my PS2 guitar hero game work with a PS3 guitar?

How many matches does it take to raise a created titles prestige to the highest value and raise a tag teams attributes to the max? It is taking forever to do the hall of fame because of this. Does anyone else think that legend difficulty is much easier than last year?

I couldn't find any european release dates on wikipedia and play.com doesn't have any fire pro games. So I'm saying no to that one.

There is a Elimination Chamber at Wrestlemania. Its a smackdown storyline. I'm not sure what storyline it is because I was just simming a year to get more money, but I was on Smackdown and the match was for the World Heavyweight Championship.

BURNING BARBED WIRE HELL YEAH!

How come no ones mentioned this? Or at least I haven't seen anyone mention this. In ECW Extreme Rules match get full momentum with a barbed wire baseball bat and press try and it burns. It really took me surprise since I hadn't seen it anywhere, it looks quite cool.

Is this not coming out in the UK?

I just played a ladder match with Matt Hardy against MVP. I started climbing the ladder when MVP was outside the ring, he got up and stood on the apron and just let me get the title, I was hanging onto it for a good 2 minutes as well. Hope not all ladder matches are like that.

Anyone done an Elimination Chamber match yet? I remember on the last game the CPU always climbed the cell randomly when they didn't need to and just climbed straight back down.

And is there any other way to gain cash other than 24/7 mode? I really can't be arsed with it, but I need to unlock Sabu.

The limit is 20. The gameplay is practically the same as last year, I think that the fighting styles are a nice inclusion and adds to the gameplay personally. But I think alot of people will disagree with that.

The tournament modes are alright. The King Of The Ring is good but the Beat The Clock is extremely meh, whenever you sim the computers matches they always have the same times. And have you checked if Cryme Tyme are an Alliance or a Team? If there an alliance change them to a team and they will come out together.

GM Mode is extremely crappy. ECW is almost impossible to keep everyone happy since everyone wants title shots and ECW only has one belt so they all need a shot at that one belt unlike RAW and Smackdown.

The Season mode, although botched, is good. They could of fixed those little glitches and added more cutscenes. But the training is good and all of that stuff. GM modes a bitch for making you train each superstar individually.

Gain experience or buy them from the shop. I don't think there is a cheat menu on the PS2 version.

I was raised on Robbie Williams and Westlife. Two artists I hate now. When I was about 7 I bought a Queen greatest hits album, still love them. After a while of Queen, Westlife, G4 and Robbie Williams I started listening to Green Day, Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects and My Chemical Romance because thats what my friends liked. Then I started to watch Kerrang because of my sister, which introduced me to Sum 41 (my favourite band.) And this message board has introduced me to Metallica and Muse and a few others.
