Does Guitar Hero 3 have online play? If so I'll have it in about a week if anyone wants to play me.

It does because as soon as I went out of remote play on the PS3 I got an error message on my PSP.

Theres some lag in the controls and the graphics are extremely pixelated, but its still a really good feature and I'm definetely going to be using it.

I haven't noticed the PS1 update. How does using the back buttons work?

Just go for it. The 80gb won't be out for a long time and the 40gb doesn't have enough memory to be able to download without feeling as though you have to ration how much you have store and of course playing the PS2 games.

60gb is enough memory wise and the 80gb isn't (or they haven't said its going to) have any extra features. So the main difference between getting one now or later is that they'll be a much bigger games library to choose from.

That offer seems fairly reasonable. Sepearately you'd be looking at £40 for each game, £30 for the controller and £10 for the HDMI cable.

You can go to a lot of shops and get a PS3 and 2 games for £300. I got my HDMI cable and extra controller in a bundle from Argos with a Blu-Ray remote and a PS3 stand thrown in for £40. Its £20 more then getting 2 games, a PS3, a cable and an extra controller at most other stores. But if you think its worth that little bit more for games you think are better then go for it.

I 'm getting it tomorrow. I have been practicing on the Resistance FoM demo and although I have yet to complete it I have Improved. My main problem is not noticing when I'm being shot at. Well that and my grenades always end up killing myself instead. Despite the fact that most of the tips are going to be death = bad. A few pointers can't hurt I guess.

Oh and I always duck for grenades.

I'm not the biggest fan of FPS games (mostly because I suck at them) and Call Of Duty 3 is the only one I've ever enjoyed, but I wasn't skilful enough to even get halfway through it.

So Call Of Duty 4 going cheap... yay or nay?

So will the UK be getting the extra songs to buy on the PS3? Whether or not we get this soon may change my decision between getting this now or getting Rock Band when it comes out.

Off topic question kinda, but i thought i'd use this thread isntead creating my own. I just ordered new phone and conveniently i'm being given a free PS3 with it. I just read up and turns out it's the 40gb model, but since i originally had no interest in getting a PS3 i have no idea how good the 40GB model is.

I'm getting it for free, so i'm not gonna complain either way, but basically, is the 40GB any good? If backwards compatibility (i have a modded PS2, so none of my games would work anyway) and a couple of GB is all i lose out on, then i'm not bothered either way, but is there anything else major i lose out on and is there no way of just getting a new hard drive to upgrade like with the 360?

If you're not too interested in a PS3, you could always donate/sell it to me on the cheap.

I was speaking to a guy in Currys today and it seems all the 60GB PS3's have either been sold or recalled to Sony. However he was of the opinion that you could download official software onto the 40gb version from Sony to allow you to play PS2 games through emulation.

I've searched the Sony site to no avail. Anyone else find/heard anything on this?

EDIT: I just finished my route which should have put me in positive numbers, but I had to pay a late penalty of $50 and refuel my truck, so now I'm at $-391.42. I need more money.

The only thing about that is its a big leap from the crusades to the War, and then a small jump from the War to Modern Day.

But you've got to think the Desmonds American and Altair lived in Israel. But as a video game WWII is a must.

And do they really have to be post crusade? Since the Animus just goes into memories, why can't it go further back?

I haven't finished the game yet (only on my 7th assasination). But does anyone else think that the trilogy being different ancestors of Desmond being a good idea? With every game having Desmond, the Animus and a different period to play in with completely different controls. I don't know if theres anything in the story after the point I'm at which could contradict that idea though.

Just a thought. If all three games were like this one though I'd buy them.
