I started playing Silver again too. I just got past Goldenrod City, but I'm playing that on my actual GBA, when I'm not at my computer

Yeah, it is pretty strong, but it just doesn't have that imposing-kinda look that a Spearow has. I can't even take it seriously when I fight it

I picked Piplup, and it just evolved after the first gym and got Metal Claw. Shinx is very good as well, and my Starly is pretty good too. Why don't they make any more badass early flying Pokemon? I always loved the way Spearow looked, and Pidgey looked cool too, but Starly just looks like a pussy compared to those two.

If we're gonna plug bands, then I'll say listen to these guys. They're local, and I saw them live. Symphony X - Twilight in Olympus - 7.5/10 Pretty solid album, but I just can't seem to get into Symphony X. Maybe they're too slow, or something. They have a lot of talent, I just can't find a track that I could stick with and really enjoy from this album. I liked Divine Wings of Tragedy much better.

I've heard The Haunted, don't really like them. Arch Enemy too. (only heard them with Angela, not Johan) Also didn't really like Amorphis, although I might give all of these bands another try, along with At the Gates.

I only listen to a few melodic death bands. In Flames Children of Bodom Suidakra

Necrophagist - Onset of Putrefaction 1.5/10 The music was alright, but the vocals...*throws up* Psycroptic - The Scepter of the Ancients - 0/10 Are my ears done bleeding yet? Suidakra - The Arcanum - 8/10 Very good vocals for a melodic death metal band. This was my first taste of them, and I really did enjoy them. Same with: Suidakra - Emprise to Avalon - 8/10 It really evokes an epic feel, like a lot of power metal, while it's really melodic death. This is an awesome band.

They have the worst vocals I've EVER heard. Ever.
