  1. I actually own one, I was sold on it when I saw the list of games coming out for it. It's actually pretty incredible, and if more people gave it a shot it would do very well I'm sure. I own Legend of Zelda: OOT and Super Street Fighter and both games are great, plus the virtual reality games that come equipped on it are fantastic. Shame that they're losing money on it.

  2. Got mine at midnight. Dynasty mode is great, the added additions of the coaching carousels + making goals really matter just brings a whole new feel to the thing. I got it for 360, so if anyone is planning to run an online dynasty, sign me up. =)

  3. I'm very disappointed that the Knicks ended up picking a washed up supermodel with their 1st round selection.

I can't even fathom what goes on in T'Wolves HQ. What purpose does Norris Cole serve on a team with a bunch of undersized PGs and a ton of 3/4 hybrids? I think their GM went to the Matt Millen school of drafting.

They're trading the pick to Miami for the 31 and a future 2nd.

  4. You know, there's something that just occurred to me. They've been getting the word "shit" by uncensored for several episodes now. Royal Pudding was the first I noticed it in, and I think it's happened each episode. I'm wondering if they didn't convince Comedy Central to do that as a means towards building to this? You know, to show how "shitty" everything was getting?

There was a news report not too long ago that the FCC has lightened up on what words are acceptable for TV and radio, it has nothing to do with this just this show. It does have to do with the timeslot they're on however, if South Park was a Prime Time show they still wouldn't be able to get away with it.

  5. Don't know if it's been posted in here yet or not (it's a long thread, leave me alone) but Nickelodeon will be bringing back programming such as "Freaks and Geeks", "Undeclared", "All That", "Rugrats", "Kenan and Kel", "The Adventures of Pete and Pete", "The Amanda Show", and "Clarissa Explains It All" as part of a 90s block late at night on it's TeenNick channel. :w00t:

and my source for "Freaks and Geeks" and "Undeclared" is the fact that I just saw a commercial for them. Whether those two will be apart of the same block as the other shows, I'm not entirely sure.

  6. From Doug Lesmerises's twitter (who is the local go-to-guy for Buckeyes news and broke the Tressel story before ESPN):

    "PDBuckeyes

BREAKING NEWS: Terrelle Pryor has decided to end his football career at Ohio State, per his lawyer."

As a Buckeyes fan, all I can say is: WOOOOO!

  7. MLB gives out end of the year awards for a reason, so that THEY can determine who the best players were. The All-Star game is for fans and to bring in ratings in a fun environment. And I'm sorry, but Derek Jeter is a future Hall of Famer and the biggest SS name in the game since Ripken. If the fans want him in there, he's gonna be in, because he'll make (a bigger majority) of the fans want to watch. Asdrubal Cabrera is one of the best shortstops in baseball this season, and even I as an Indians fan can admit that Jeter should get in before him, because it's about the fans and bringing in the ratings. As long as Cabrera gets more recognition in the end of the year awards than Jeter, it's perfectly fine with me.
