I'm good for free agents.
-
Odd, I'd assumed we'd ransacked them since we all seemed to have quite a few picks.
-
I'm good to go.
On a slightly serious note, can we look at some rules regarding trading draft picks? The Bears only had 2, Falcons 3 and Lions 3. I've no issue trading with AI teams for picks, but can we at least let them keep say 4 or 5? I don't know if we'll get another draft or two in (given the pace this season has gone, it's possible), but presuming we're gonna keep this up for Madden 17, it'd be a bit more realistic. And if we get a fair few seasons in, we're gonna end up with some weak teams who aren't really able to improve.

87 and 86.

Although I'm pretty happy I've drafted two wideouts with 97 speed. Marquise Hunter was 50th in true talent and I got him at 160

Is it me or is this class pretty poor?

Spoiler
Fucking comment box was broken for a while there. I honestly have no recollection of the draft screen looking like this, I'm massively confused.

Gutted, missed out on my DT which I went all in for, somehow turned me down for the bloody Jags which means I've got to go into the draft and try to change my plans a bit.
I have an embarrassment of riches at DT, maybe we could work something out...

IIRC, when you roll on the last week of free agency, it automatically starts the draft.
-
9pm UK time then, aite.
-
Ywah, what's the plan? If we don't do it this weekend, we're likely going to have to wait a week for it to be early enough for the Brits Brits but late enough for the Yanks.
-
I have quite the free agent haul so far, hoping I can add a wideout and the rest I can hopefully cover through the draft.
Speaking of, can we sort out when we're doing that now?

I can try and recreate my hitting guide. It's based on 07 but I have played all the more recent games, the biggest difference is that the timing windows have narrowed significantly with the new generation.
That'd be good. I think it's mostly just practice, previous games I've just given up and been a pitcher in RTTS.

Wait, so after each section of gameplay, there's a 25min live action episode to watch? Sounds like a decent concept if what you're playing can significantly change things.
Yeah, what happens in the episode is dictated by a choice you make at the end of each act (called a junction). There's also quantum ripples that you can find during the game that add or change little scenes in the episodes, but I haven't found them that interesting. The first one is you fix an equation on a whiteboard, which triggers two scientists in a cafeteria saying "did you hear about the breakthrough?"
I haven't played Alan Wake. I will now I have a download code for it.

If you're wondering why walks would be BB, it's base on balls.
I'm trying to get into it this year, but I run into the same problem every time, I cannot hit worth a damn. I struggle to predict pitch type and location and end up wailing on everything.
-
I played it 10 hours straight on Friday, the episodes are only 25 minutes in between. I've just got the second part of the fifth act to finish and I've only missed like 3 collectibles. Other devs should take note, if you're going to insist on putting collectibles in your game, a. make them mean something (love how they fleshed out the world with email conversations and the like) and b. make it clear which ones have been picked up and where you're missing the others from.

I'm good for any of those times.

Bit concerned about my inability to bring a receiver in, but I think I'm doing well otherwise. Ready to go for stage 3.
Also,I I have traded Jeremy Lane and a fourth to the Eagles for a third and a fourth. Brilliantly, I have signed two corners for only $1m more than Lane was due this season, both of him have higher ratings, got back into the third round, and moved higher up in the fourth.

I enjoyed Dirt 3 and Showdown, but then I wasn't necessarily looking for a true rally game with them. Picked up Dirt Rally on launch, and its incredible, but it's really tough. I love that it's not a given that you'll win out the first few races without much effort like in every other racing game. But I cannot do hairpin turns to save my life, and I've had to look up a lot of things on the unofficial subreddit. I really think they should have put a driving school type mode in, the instructional videos are very informative, but I've found it really difficult to out what I've learned into practice.

I'll get mine done tonight.

Good to go. Stupidly didn't set my draft board before free agency started (I always get confused when in the offseason you get the scouting screen back) so I'm not hugely sure if I'm filling the right needs from free agents over rookies.
-
Funds are for signing bonuses, so you're probably gonna struggle in free agency.
Trading with cpu is fine, I think you used to have to post in this thread before going ahead with it, not sure.

The first Metro game is incredible. Didn't get nearly enough attention.
