I wonder if all of this might intensify talk of F1 trying to break away from the FIA again. Hasn't been too many years since that was mooted regularly.

Or you can just play Football Manager 2008 itself.

His entire tenure in charge has been a complete disaster, he seems a nightmare for the governance of the sport.
All F1 is getting is bad headlines at the moment.

Error or not, wasn't it 1-2 minutes between the drop ball and the goal? The carry-on over this is ridiculous.

Red Bull in crisis as Jos Verstappen warns Horner must leave
Jos has essentially gone to the press after falling out with Horner in Bahrain, to say that Horner needs to go and that Red Bull is being torn apart by the scandal. What a mess.

"Nottingham Forest referee analyst Mark Clattenburg" has objected to the Liverpool winner.
Since when did clubs have their own "referee analyst"?

I am enjoying watching Carlos Sainz attack and overtake Charles Leclerc multiple times already.

The ATP has sold its soul to Saudi Arabia and the PIF now.

Christian Horner set to be cleared of all charges of improper conduct.
I'm sure this won't be the end of it.
The quote from the Chief Executive of Ford in that article suggests that it certainly isn't the end of it.

The most brutal game in English football history - recollections on the 1970 FA Cup Final Replay between Chelsea and Leeds, ahead of their clash tonight.

Good, it's the least we deserve. The second charge complicates matters because I don't think it's as straightforward as presuming we'll get another 6 now.
The second charge partially covers a period that we've already been deducted points for. So maybe it'll be 6, maybe it'll be 2-3. I doubt the Premier League even know.
For now I'm going to treat it as that we need to stay above Forest in the current table and then we'll be safe, because they're surely getting at least 6 deducted now and Burnley/Sheff Utd are miles adrift.

No? Ajax are nothing special, it's not a long trip and it won't be a particularly hostile one either like it may have been had you drawn a side from, say, Turkey or Greece.
Ajax are only two points better off than the Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie.

I do wish we'd stop being subjected to Romano's posts here, he's rather irritating.

The Bear is fantastic, and while it can hit hard at times, I'd say as far as content goes it's a pretty safe watch.
And it's set in Chicago!

I dunno, the best leagues have had their fair share of absolute howlers before.
Peter Enckelman, Lee Dixon, Tony Popovic, Jamie Pollock and many more have pulled off astounding own goals in the same vein as Glesnes here, and all at or near the top level of English football.

Isn't it Leo, not Lio?
Amazing own goal mind, glad you came back to win.

Granted losing to Huddersfield isn't the best look but it feels a bit sudden, they've been doing okay under him haven't they?
I know that footage of him seemingly blanking his own player after subbing him off was doing the rounds but I can't imagine something like that would be the instigating factor here.
Only won a few games, fans never took to him. Seems like it was doomed from the start, and Mowbray beating them on the weekend has underlined how bad a decision that was.

TNT Sports will have exclusive broadcasting rights to the FA Cup from the 2025/2026 season. Some matches will be free-to-view, but not on traditional terrestrial channels.
The BBC article wording suggests it will, though I may be misunderstanding.
TNT Sports has agreed a four-year deal with the Football Association to show the FA Cup from the 2025-26 season.
Formerly known as BT Sport, TNT Sports will share the rights with a free-to-air broadcaster, which the FA said it would provide further details on in "due course".

I don't know anything about Mahomes other than when I see him win the super bowl once a year. Why do you all think he is a dick? Is he actually a bad guy or is it more that you just find him annoying?
I think it's just that he's very successful, in the main. As far as problematic sportspeople go, Mahomes doesn't seem to be one of them.

I'm not sure what magic Mahomes pulled to make that guy not get his foot out of the way of the punt, to be fair.

Oh shit I didn’t know it was on either of those! I googled about watching it in the UK and just looked at the first result saying it was on DAZN. That’s 99p I’m never going to get back…
I've not seen an ad break in the last 20+ minutes watching on Sky.
That said, the studio crew were laughing about Taylor Swift puns and completely missed the Dre Greenlaw injury. They still haven't mentioned it, weirdly...

Maybe this isn’t as new as I think it is?
See, usually as I stay up to half-time because I like the show (although I was a bit disappointed to find it is Usher lol) and usually the UK broadcast has local ads or no ads at all on when it was on BBC (which I used to like because they would use the breaks to explain what was going on which was good for me because I don’t really understand it so well) but this year the broadcast is basically the raw US feed with all the American ads and it is very different!
Are you watching on Channel 4? Sky is doing the studio stuff in a lot of breaks.

I've just been to see The Iron Claw, wow what a superb film. I'd highly recommend a watch for anyone who either does or doesn't like wrestling. Efron, White and McCallany all nailed it.
