What the hell was that.

I guess it allows them time to line up someone new?
Aye, half a season's worth of time! If it was March/April I'd get it, but in January I don't really.
Last week he said he'd "pack his bags" if the players lost faith, sounds like he does in fact want to pack those bags so I'm not sure why he doesn't just do it now.
-
A bit strange that he's going to leave at the end of the season when the reason is that they're not doing well. It's not the same as Klopp. So why not go now? They're miles off it in the league.
-
I'd definitely start with Season 1, yeah. Both are excellent though, I was surprised how good this second one was as I was worried it'd be impossible to top or equal the first, but they did it in my view.

I never wanted to watch because Claudia Winkleman's fringe annoys me, but all the talk is making me want to give it a go.
Do it, Claudia is brilliant in the show as well.

When was the last time a team from the sixth tier got to the 5th Round? I can't remember any going further than this, Lincoln and Sutton were both a league above when they went on runs a few years ago.

Traitors UK, unreal finale.
Yep, probably the best reality TV series I've ever seen. Incredible stuff.

3 goals between 8 teams, what a thrilling night of FA Cup action.

There's a weird tone in the video. Not to speculate but it feels potentially a health related matter? 'I'm running out of energy.... I will have to announce it at some point' is a quote to take note of
He said "I am healthy" in the video, I'd say to dispel any notion of this. I reckon he's just burnt out, he has won literally all there is to win at Liverpool and now facing another rebuild (which he's made a great start of) probably with Salah going in the next year or two, he doesn't feel up to leading it

Makes all the sense in the world. The timing couldn't really be better, he's hit the ground running as a top level manager, is a club legend and will pull off an unbelievable achievement this season if he leads Leverkusen to the Bundesliga title ahead of Bayern.
Beyond Alonso, I'm struggling to see who the obvious candidates are.
-
You wonder if this will galvanise Liverpool's title effort, or distract from it.
Will be a huge, huge loss for the club like - he's dragged them back to the top of the English game and kept them there after what, 25 years of inconsistency and relative underachievement.

I did think, if anyone was going to beat Djokovic here, it'd be Sinner. Good on him.
Zverev is a set up on Medvedev, unfortunately.

It's got a lot of those crap right-angle corners that seem common on the newer street circuits. Rubbish.
To be fair I don't love Catalunya, but more of these street circuits isn't good for the overall make-up of the calendar in my view.

What was the need for those weird AI talk bits. Awful.
Also, creased at the MyFaction cards on that Rhodes pack.

It wasn't just Sky though, it was Brentford as well. Making him captain for his return is literally rewarding him and treating him as a hero for getting caught breaking the rules he has to abide by.
I don't really get this take. He is a hero for Brentford, he's their star player and returning main goalscorer.
He served his punishment, he hasn't played all season. The debate over how complicit the sport is over gambling is another thing, but I see zero reason why Brentford shouldn't act like they have over Toney's return.
I see no issue with the goal either. That sort of tactic is used in every game by every team, it's on the officials to see it and the defence to notice and adapt their set-up.

Just bear in mind there's always the chance of a switch to the Tuesday for TV, because this is a stupid sport.
At least with the midweek games it's fairly sure to be on Tuesday or Wednesday, whereas I'm hoping to go to Everton v Brentford at the end of April but can't really book it in for definite until they announce TV next month, as it could be on any day between Friday and Monday of that weekend.

As a neutral in the Play-Offs, the one thing I really hoped for was the Lions winning this game. Amazing, I'm made up for all the Lions fans and especially @VerbalPuke!

I read this article by Oliver Connolly in the wake of the Cowboys win over the Eagles, touting how great McCarthy and Dallas were, and ever since I've just thought "sure, we'll see". And now we do see.

I thought NFTs were basically done with?
Also, what is a "Match Day Shirt"? Is there one for every game of the season?
Also also...that is a real stretch of the definition of "ultimate". Four things!

Poetic that it ended on a loss to the Jets. It's the right time, makes a lot of sense for the Pats to rebuild with a new QB and new ethos.

FIFA really needs to make it a rule that agents are not allowed to be paid by the clubs for transfers. It should be like it is in I believe all American sports where the players pay their agents. I know there's still going to be fuckery with it, but it's got to be better than this where you have agents trying to sometimes force or trick their client move to a different club than what they might actually prefer.
I believe they have tried to severely limit the agent fees but that multiple countries have deemed it illegal, unfortunately.

Detroit scoring at will here, some great plays as well. They're not letting the Niners bully them or unsettle at all.
