  1. Another awesome set of shows right there. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia actually didn't make my list this year but it's still an awesome, funny show. Would easily make the top 20 if we went that high. Modern Family is great but I think it jumping from 12 last year to 5 this year may be a bit too high. And Lost was great and deserves to be in the top 5.

  2. The League making the list is great. I had no room on my list for it, but really enjoy watching it.

Justified is a great show. Can't wait for the new season to being in two months.

As far as the rest of the shows go, I only have interest in wanting to see Party Down and Breaking Bad. One day I will get to those but Party Down is not high on my list whereas Breaking Bad certainly is. That along with Rubicon are the two shows that I need to watch soon.

  3. Great performance by Cruz. Really looking forward to Cruz vs. Faber II but I think that Cruz will take the rematch when they next meet. He's just a totally different fighter since that lose to Faber and dropping to 135. A much more smart and better than he was then. I'd like to see these two on the next Ultimate Fighter, too. Would be a great way to introduce them to the UFC and build to the fight.

  4. Todd Harris with the "they better do something or they are going to get a stand up" when Cerrone had the triangle on was like ... what the hell is he talking about? He's been doing this for what, 3 or 4 years now? He should know that doesn't happen. Well it happened in a Strikeforce fight earlier in the year with I believe a fight between women, but besides that I can't recall a fight getting stood up when a submission was locked in, because it absolutely would be a stupid call on the referee to do that.

  5. Well Bellator is not going to be airing on FX as previously reported. They sent out a press release today that says starting in March 2011 they will air on MTV2. It says it is a three year deal. This is probably best for them as FX is too big of a cable station and they would have had to do very well in that time slot to be kept on I am sure. Not to say they won't have to do well on MTV2, but I am sure the average ratings for the time slot they would be in (I assume 8-10 like they had on FSN) wouldn't be near the same average for FX. I am sure Meltzer will have information on that like he usual does in this weeks Observer.

  6. Looks like the patch that came out has a change to Hardline Pro. Now you can only re-roll the care packages only and not the SAM Turret/Sentry Gun ones. :(

It finally added the NAT type to the lobby though which is good.

    Issues Addressed:

    * Resolved several issues with parties getting disbanded unexpectedly.

    * Additional measures to prevent the “Transmission error” and other disconnects. This was most likely to occur with large parties where party members had mixed NAT types. (PS3 only)

    * Addressed an issue with VOIP icons not appearing when USB headsets were plugged in prior to game launch. (PS3 only)

    * Updated handling for UPnP-enabled routers to improve matchmaking conditions where users had strict or moderate NAT types. Also added in-game communications so that all players are aware of their NAT type in the Player Match party lobby.

    * Addressed issue that prevented the “Load MP by Default” option from saving when other specific option combinations were set. (Xbox 360 only)

    * Prevention of exploit that allowed players to keep custom classes and killstreaks after prestige.

    * Addressed an issue where Flak Jacket Pro would not always protect against ground fires left by Napalm Strikes.

    * Prevention of users losing their killstreak reward when switching classes at the start of a new round in round-based game modes.

    * Addressed an issue where the incorrect perks would appear when spectating another player under certain circumstances.

    * Added round start explosive delay to China Lake grenade launcher to give it the same round start limitations as other explosives.

    * Contracts will now reset when the player Prestiges.

    * Prevention of Valkyrie rocket exploding upon release under rare conditions.

    * Prevention of Gunship failing to give player full control under rare conditions.

    * Prevention of an issue where a player will get teleported outside the map boundaries under very specific circumstances.

    * Additional security measures to enhance detection and banning capabilities.

    Gameplay Tuning:

    * Limit the ability to re-roll supply drops using Hardline Pro to Care Packages only, no other killstreak drops.

    * Added a negative influencer to all spawn points to decrease the chances of spawning near an enemy. This will further improve spawning protection on top of previous updates.

    * Additional sound mix tuning for Ninja Pro users – increased ranges and volume of enemy footsteps, and removed player footstep sounds on concrete material types.

    * Increased headshot multipliers for sniper rifles. Sniper rifles with suppressors equipped will now always be ensured one-shot kill headshots.

    * Subtle increase in sniper rifle accuracy when scoping in.

    * Added a render delay to the red diamond player indicators that appear when controlling the Gunship, Valkyrie Rocket and Chopper Gunner.

    * When a player first spawns, this will not appear for a period of time.

    * Additional minor reductions in knife lunge.

  7. So last nights UFC... I really liked Jim Miller's and Bocek's submissions. Great submissions by them. I don't think Sotiropoulos will be ready for the April show that Bocek called him out on, but if he finishes Siver quickly and comes out without any problems, perhaps it could be done and I'd like to see it. As for Miller, I don't think he is ready for a title shot, perhaps put him in there with Florian or the loser of Edgar/Maynard next?

  8. Go back and watch the fight again. I watched it again after I heard people complain about the scoring of it, and still stand by what I said. It's not the biggest robbery ever. I still think Phan should've won the fight overall, though. So if you can, go back and watch it again, it wasn't this huge robbery people are making it out to be.

And also I listened to Meltzer's recap of it, and I think he has a great mind for judging, and he said the third round was very close, first round was sort of close but still thought pretty solidly for Nam Phan and round 2 was without question for Phan. So he also agrees that round 3 was a close round (and he gave Garcia that round so he had it 29-28) and also agrees that it wasn't this huge robbery either.

  9. Yeah he was already training for that fight, and besides, he almost always gets tired due to his reckless style out there.

Also, on the Phan/Garcia fight I don't get why this is getting "worst robbery ever" from people. It certainly was not the worst judging ever. I believe that goes to Hamill/Bisping where Hamill shouldv'e won. I had Phan winning, but I saw rounds 1 and 3 to be close enough that they could've gone either way, third round for sure could've gone either way. The only solid round for either guy was round 2 for Phan. But like Hamill, he won't be hurt from this loss on his record and probably got much more over from it anyways, so in a sense it helped him.
