It's a good deal for the Leafs. For some reason, Rychel's stock as fallen. He's still young and could turn out to be a pretty good NHL player for the leafs. 

Congrats to the Penguins. However, I am also in the "Giving Crosby the MVP award was a joke." category.  What a low scoring series.  I'd be curious to see how the Sharks go about their offseason after losing.  Too early to tell, but I don't think they're repeating this next year to the finals. 

I think they're definitely getting to Thornton. There was one play where the puck was a scramble near the net, and Sid is literally holding Joe away from the play so he can't even get involved. Definitely an uncalled penalty, but good to see him trying to take somebody else off their change instead of the other way around. 

Sharks lost 2 close games (at least by score), that's gotta leave them nearly defeated, especially if Penguins come and play a dominate first period. 

So happy for the Sharks. Lots of classy players on that team as well. 

Fleury is getting the start.

Playoffs have always been a much tighter game with with the refs a little looser on the whistle, but somebody is going to get hurt if they don't try to put a stop to this.  There's been way too many suspensions, major penalties avoided in this playoffs. 

I think most people felt the finals was going to have 1 of Sharks, Hawks,  or Blues this year.  I wasn't sold on LA in the playoffs.  For the east, I think Washington, Tampa or Penguins.  I didn't see Islanders or Florida going that far this year. 

Take out Washington and Hawks, and that's pretty much what we got.  Kinda' random if you look at it from the beginning of the season though. 

Sharks have been a much better team to watch. I wouldn't mind seeing them go all the way.  Preds won't quit, though.

Agreed. He looked like he checked himself out of the game after the turnovers started. Like he had the feeling that this is done and there's nothing he can do, and mentally screwed himself.  With that said, you go up and down the league and take a look at the teams making an impact in the playoffs -- Ovechkin, Crosby, Tavares, Tarasenko, Kane, Benn, Kucherov, and there's more from each of those teams, but Rangers just don't have anything close to them.  

The window for the Rangers has closed. I really hope they make some changes.  Rangers never had a top 5 defense despite everybody putting them in that category.  Their defense outside of McDonagh has been brutal for a long time now.  Lundqvist looked like he checked out on them long ago.  

I just wish they could find takers for Girardi, Staal, and Nash - but nobody wants to take those contracts.  I'm sure Nash can be traded if we settle for dirt. I consider AV one of the worst playoff coaches I've ever seen. 

I'm glad Hagelin advanced to the next round. 

So happy the blues finally put the Hawks away. It's good to know we will be getting a team other than LA/Hawks with the cup this year.

Offsides how? At first I thought the same thing, but it looks like Brass has control of the puck before going offside. I would have been fine if the play was blown dead when it happened,  but on a review, I don't see how that's called offsides.  He knows where the puck is going and gets control before going offside. 

I'd also be ok with turning that rule into offside is offside, regardless of control. 

As least he has 2 good eyes.

Our coach said he wasn't feeling well and would be fine tomorrow.  Hopefully he didn't get anybody else sick. 

Lundqvist left practice, came back 15 minutes later and then left for good.

You start Zatkoff - it's probably a 4-1 series win for the Pens.  Haven't you heard about the Rangers making backups look like franchise starting goalie? 

I was really hoping Rangers would take the loss and play Florida, or the Islanders would win both games giving them the same matchup. Not really looking forward to playing a Hot Penguins team right now, especially with McDonagh having a broken Hand, and Girardi/Zucc questionable.  I can see it now, Hagelin scores the playoff winning goal to eliminate the Rangers... That would be our luck. 

I am hoping the wings beat my Rangers so they can get in.

It's pretty damn helpful in the DZ6, esp solo or with 1 other, but PVP i agree.

Holy shit episode 3 was awesome. 

I don't know if anybody is still playing this, but there is a glitch in one of the high end mask you can buy in the base tech wing.  Apparently, once this is activated by an EMP/ flash, fire - you get constant heal until you die / go into a safe house.  Looks like the dark zone has players using it to their advantage, especially when going rogue. 

I haven't been that happy with the show since it came back from mid season break. I really love the way season 2 started and I had a feeling they couldn't keep that pace up.
