Yeah, i've had so much fun just exploring and doing the encounters and side missions. I'm up to level 19 now, really need to progress the story, but my work pattern isn't compatible with me getting online at the same time as my friends at the moment. Don't really fancy going in with randoms. My flatmate meanwhile has ground it out in 3 days, max level, all yellow gear and now he's bored as he has noone to play with.

I had to keep up with my friends because the minute you fall behind, you're stuck doing missions with them and can't quite take down the enemies like they can. The game seems to scale up the enemies as well. I was playing with somebody else, and a mission that was one of the first ones in Manhattan had gone up to level 16-20 enemies, just because I was in his map.  I had to leave the map because it wasn't fun for him being level 7 and having to deal with that.  Once everybody is near mid 20's to 30, it makes no difference if you play together.

  2. I don't think I have ever put that much time into a game in the first few days of release.  It's so addicting. I can literally go to base and spend 30 minutes sorting my inventory with a squad,  and not one person rushes you to hurry up because they're doing the exact same thing.

Working on finishing up some events to have everything but the daily missions done.

    Final Story Mission

I was a little disappointed with the final mission. Not sure if I was just expecting it to be harder or for much stuff to happen after that seeing that chopper appear, I was definitely not expecting to see that chopper.

Speaking of challenging, I did the first Tech wing mission on hard last night. Joined a group of randoms and all was going well (I bloody love how difficult it is), until we reached the final phase.

Bascially, you climb up and drop down into a new area. Once you drop down, there's no way of getting back up, but staying up top is a sure fire way to die as there's no cover.

So I drop down ready to engage and my entire team just sit up top, backing up out of line of sight whenever they get shot at. This leads to a quick death for me, whilst literally nothing else happens since the enemies can't reach my team.

Went on for about 15 minutes until a couple left and I got leader. I was able to kick the other guy and finish by myself. Thankfully, the enemies scale down once people leave.

Did they have bad armor or abilities? If so, 1 shot on hard or slight touch of fire can really end it for them. Although you would think since you did matchmaker, somebody had to set it up on hard and know they needed decent armor.

  4. I picked it up yesterday.  Haven't made it to the dark zone yet, jut pretty much a few things done in Manhattan (2nd Map).  Played the precinct siege in Brooklyn a few times, including on hard, and let me just say unloading almost a full clip into somebody's head while they run at you with a bat, and still nearly hit you can be a little frustrating, The more people you have the easier it is because the AI helping you blows.  While easier playing with friends, watching them collect the good loot while you get the shitty loot is pretty frustrating as well.

Game was glitching a little last night.  There's an issue when you start and try to activate your player, you have to restart the game and try again.   Leaving Brooklyn had some issues with the door opening for nearly an hour.

I disagree. I think if done right, the show could work without him. I definitely think it's possible he could die sometime in the next season or two by sacrificing himself for sake of Carl or Judith.

I think the show is pretty much fucked if he goes sometimes between now and next season.  I don't think he's safe, but killing him wouldn't be smart at all.

Not only that, but why did they abandon their original working car that had petrol in?

I don't think we need spoiler tags anymore.  The only thing I can think of is that they needed the gas, which wasn't explained.

Yeah, I noticed the Rangers have been slumping badly too, and to an extent, the Islanders haven't been great either. Definitely going to be close in the Metro division, especially if the Caps start to struggle too.

Just hoping Pittsburgh turns it around gets going once Fleury and Letang come back. Hell, the Blue Jackets are about to catch up to them.

Yup.  Rangers and Montreal were running away with the division, then the caps went on a good streak while Rangers and Montreal have had some trouble lately.  Islanders have been up and down, and now the bottom teams are starting to close the cap in the division.  This could be a real close division at the end of the season.

  8. Rangers may be higher in the standings, but their play has been really poor for most of the season. It's starting to catch up with them.  Lundqvist started off with a bang, but this month the Rangers have been so bad his stats have taken a big hit.

Crosby is on my Fantasy team and he's a can't drop player, and most people in the league will only trade for him with a low offer. Hoping he turns it around.

Won't air here until tonight, was it decent? My hopes went from zero when I found out it was a Morgan episode to pretty high when I heard they extended it to 90 minutes >_>

When I saw it was 90 minutes, I was hoping to see his entire journey summarized, but there was a lot of filler with premier AMC trailers through-out the show. Didn't quite feel like a 90 minute special.  Still was a good story, and Lennie's acting was top notch in this episode.

Originally, that was the place Sal Maroni gave Don Falcone in exchange for keeping Penguin.  They called in a toxic waste dump, but clearly Penguin knew better as he was working with Falcone, and it seems to be a way to hide under the radar for what they're doing.  Was that supposed to be Mr. Freeze covered in nitrogen in the lab?

That's what I am thinking as well. He could have went under or in the dumpster, and by the time they were done chomping on Nick, maybe all the guts and dead smell left him safe from the zombies. They were also really careful with their words on Talking Dead which makes me think he's still alive.
  12. I don't mind Barbara in the villain role.  Her character was absolutely terrible as Gordon's girlfriend, but she seems to be a lot more comfortable in this new role.

The opening to season 1 not how Gotham has turned out.   After the mid-season break for season 1, the show got pretty good.  The opening to Season 2 started with events happening much quicker than I expected. They started season 2 off with a bank,  however, after the 3rd episode, the season is starting to come back down to a slower paced show.

I agree with HellRaiser on Catwomen.  She was pretty bad this episode.
