That's pretty laughable. I did hear that both Danni and Joey McDonald were not going to be resigned. Haven't really checked up on that news, but still, they were backups. I have a feeling DiPietro won't be playing more than 10 games this season. Yes, I am pulling that number out of my ass, but it doesnt make much sense to sign both Dwayne and Biron.

I dislike both teams. After reviewing the clip(lol), there's no way in hell that was a cheap hit. Unfortunately, there wasn't much either man could've done differently there. Markov was turning with his right skate, while his left skate appeared to be almost straight....so when he got hit, his right leg changed and he went straight into the boards, but it wasn't a hit from behind, it wasn't a cheap it. As for the argument of him being chased, the clip wasn't long enough to show it. He connected more with his shoulder than Markovs back. I didn't get a chance to watch the second clip, yet.

Paul Mara sucks! Everybody praises his work on the ice and I just don't get it. His shot is aweful, he can't hit the god damn net. He's slow, and doesnt finish as many checks as you'd expect. However, he can be useful clearing out the front of the net.... and taking stupid penalties. I guess as your 5th 6th 7th D, he'd be somewhat alright.

This tells me that Zherdev will not be back. In all fairness to Gomez, they werent expecting him to score 30 something goals, but they were expecting him to set up a lot of plays and create scoring chances for other players. He didnt have much to work with. And Gabriel, you got my hopes up.. When I saw 1mil per season...I almost started to dance.

I havent really been downloading or buying anything new, since around Christmas. I'm sure there's some new tunes out that i'd enjoy. So, the rangers get rid of Gomez because of his contract, and that they want to bring in some of their younger guys... So, they then sign brashear, and now Gaborik? Gaborik is a great player, and had 23 points in only 17 games last season, but i'm not so sure it was a good move to sign him for 5 years. 7.5 mil per season.

It would've been cheaper to try and resign Colton Orr, who in my mind, is a much better player than Brashear. 2 year deal, 2.8 mil for brashear? They don't need an enforcer. Colton Orr, didn't get much ice time and wasn't in the line up every game. After the shit he pulled on Betts.. it was a stupid move for the rangers.

Brashear. I don't see him being what they need, or fitting in with the new coahing style.
