Apparently, 3 survivors together can move the blockade from the elevator. According to the guide, anyway...
-
The ONE time I start as a tank, and as soon as I spawn, everyone's in the truck already...
Is there a way to choose what Infected you spawn as? Obviously tanks are out of the question, though...

My mic-less headset finally gave out after the first round. No second-hand gear next time...

Actually, I've already won . I sold it and bought a new one. It works for a minute or so before re-red ringing, so it looked normal when the guy at the pawn shop tested it.
Plus the new one runs much quieter than the original...

Is it the RRoD when the two left side lights are lit up, along with the bottom-right one? To clarify, take Ruki's current avatar and flip it upside-down.
-
I'll throw Stark Raving Mad, Kitchen Confidential, and AAARGH! It's The Mr. Hell Show! into the mix.
I know Mr. Hell isn't technically a sitcom, but it's awesome enough to warrant a mention...

Bah. They removed the controller function for guitars. Yes, I have a controller. No, I don't want to be a singer! I WANT TO PLAY GUITAR!

I'm just up to the second Hero quest, with two wives. Well, one actually. The other accidentally, brutally cut off her own head whilst shaving her legs.
The first time I allowed Friend Orbs on, I was randomly given five hundred thousand gold, which was a pleasant surprise. Now I own all of the Gypsy Camp, Bowerstone Market, Old Town, and Oakfield. So highly doubtful that it was anyone here or reading this, but... damn... thanks. I try to avoid Bowerstone as much as I can now, because I get mobbed by my fans (read: THE WHOLE TOWN) either asking for an autograph or a wedding ring (the adults, too). I've had to restart a few times because they mobbed me into a corner...
Did anything come of that "We Put The Glitch In Pub Games. All Cheaters Will Pay" thing?
Also, is the "Cliff Diver" achievement like a viral one? I got it while co-op'ing with Ruki, and neither of us went near a cliff, let alone jumped off one...

Don't worry. These problems almost resolve themselves as the story progresses... The only place I felt WoT struggled was in Winter's Heart.Things such asSpoiler: Click here to viewThe Ogier Waygates and Moiraine's apparent Aura Of Impenetrable Awesome that just so happens to extend exactly as far as needed for the plot at the time, and her ability to be able to seemingly do anything at all to make the Fades go away or not notice them, but 'only for a limited time'. Ever since Caemelyn, I can't seem to be worried for them when she's around any more, she seems to be able to solve every Fade/Dark One/Trolloc-related problem with some mysterious ward that is never actually described at all.About to start re-reading The Redemption Of Althalus, as soon as I finish Elephants On Acid and other Bizarre Experiments...

Speaking of Stephen King, has anyone on here read the Dark Tower series?
I'm just beginning Volume V, The Wolves Of The Calla and really into it, having just read Volume IV on holiday earlier in the month. I lost a little bit of interest at the end of the third but still engrossed in the story. Usually I stick a couple of books between each volume but decided to go straight ahead with the new one.
So yeah, anyone on here reading/read them? I'm interested to know if the ending is worth the lengthy journey.
Yes, it is. Although it does get a little contrived at times...

Which is either the same day, or after the release of GHWT...Apparently, Rock Band 1 is finally coming to Australia on November 7th for $250, that is the game and the instruments. -
Halfway through the Serpentwar Saga books by Raymond E. Feist.
If you're even slightly interested in fantasy writing, Feist is a great read. Hell, even if you're not interested, it's still a good read.
-
This, but throw in RB1, as well...I hate every one of you who has RB2.I want you to know this.
I can't believe we're still waiting on it...
-
NOT IN THE FACE!
In (if there's still time and/or space).

Anyone getting the game interested in a Pub Games code? I got my free code a week after ordering the game, and I've since paid for it anyway...
-
Infinite Undiscovery. Reminds me of FFXII.
Damn achievements. Instead of just getting on with the story like I know I should, I'm doomed to fail the same annoying section time after time.
-
Well, It took a while, but it finally arrived today.Bah, GameTraders can go to hell. I order FF9, with their promises they'll get it in in a week. That was in November...
GameTraders Burwood (20 minutes away): 10 Months.
GameTraders Marion (2 states away): Overnight.
Conclusion: Burwood can go jump...

He's my friend. I think he just picked some people at random out of my friends list to add...
-
He's a TREASURE HUNTER, dammit!Locke first every time, I have a love for fictional charismatic thieves. -
Pick Locke's. It's a little bit harder than the rest. Save Sabin for last, if only for the sight of a train suplex...
-
It might be just me, but something about that sounds hilariously accurate...

New Classes:
Other than that, the races/classes haven't changed much... so Warriors are essentially still Soldiers...Spoiler: Click here to viewHuman:*Paravir - Cross a Fighter with a Ninja, and you're there. Can throw some elemental attacks around, but only within sword-range. Quite high attack, crap-all defense.
*Seer - It's a low-leveled Red Mage. Only really good for teaching support abilities.
Bangaa:
*Master Monk - It's a leveled-up version of White Monk, but with better stats and some good abilities...
*Cannoner - It's the Bangaa equivalent of Flintlock, only less accurate.
*Trickster - Ooh! It's a Bangaa that uses magic, completely wasting most of it's stats! AND it pretty much only uses status-magic, too...
Moogle:
*Fusilier - Trick question. Re-named Gunners from FFTA. Nothing new here.
*Chocobo Knight - Fastest class in the game. Red Chocobos have the Choco Meteor skill, White ones let you restore MP, and Black ones are faster than the others.
*Tinker - Re-named Gadgeteer. Still not the best choice in attack, defense, or skills. Avoid after learning "Equip Ribbon".
*Flintlock - Not the best stat-wise, but good support abilities, considering you need to charge all of them for one turn.
Nu Mou:
*Arcanist - Mostly gravity magic, and other spells that wouldn't hit a conventional FF boss. Bit of a waste.
*Scholar -Illusionists with the drawback of targeting allies as well.
Viera:
*Green Mage - Decent attack for a mage, with protecting spells and some status magic to help.
*Spellblade - Combine a Fencer with a Trickster, and this is the result. Worse stats than a Fencer, too...
Gria: Only just slower than Viera, but they can fly.
*Raptor - It's another Soldier class... Saying that though, their abilities will help the other classes...
*Ravager - Basically, it's a Fighter with some sneaky techniques.
*Geomancer - What is it with giving races that can't use magic well magic-based classes? Decent on paper, but bad to work with in actuality.
Seeq: They pack more of a punch than Bangaas, but suffer the old trade-off of speed.
*Ranger - Can set traps. Useful in maps with chokepoints, but unplayable otherwise.
*Berserker - Essentially a Warrior. Highest attack stat in the game, from what I can see.
*Viking - The worst class in the game, with Tinker close behind. Seeqs can barely use magic as is, so why not give them magic that is much less powerful than the regular versions? YAY!
*Lanista - A re-worked Dark Knight-type class. Really not worth it.
The laws have been re-tooled, and I think they work. You get one law through a battle, and by upholding it, you get item rewards at the end, and a "privilege", which can be anything from a strength bonus, to improved race powers. Breaking these laws no longer results in jail time, but if you break a law (even under Charm/Confuse) the Judge will leave, taking the items, the privilege, and the ability to revive clanmates...
But it's a better system than it was...

It's much closer related to FFXII than, say FFVII...
Semi-linear maps, free-roaming enemies, and one controllable player at a time.
