  1. If I'm ever awake early enough, I'll catch Merrick And Rosso on Nova 96.9, but I stopped listening as much when they changed from playing different music to the same old generic stuff everyone else plays.

Tuesdays at 10pm, I listen to "Full Metal Racket" on Triple J. As you can probably tell, it's nothing but metal. I've found some real gems because of it.

As for just having it on for background noise, Vega 95.3 is constantly on, because it plays "older" stuff (70s, 80s, 90s) and actually picks out good music from today's choices...

  2. Cait Sith is completely useless, he is Fran, Amarant, Selphie and Kimahri all rolled into one big tub of double crossing shit.
Boo-urns. These are people that are always in my main parties in their respective games...

Take Cid and Cait Sith. Not sure why, just because...

  3. Having the initial fly-by photo shoot of Dead Rising accompanied by Mankind's first WWF theme. It fit so well, it's ridiculous. And, in fact, that part in general, as it was my first time playing a "New-Gen" console...

  4. Yes, yes it is.

The Darkness and Starlight track also happens to be over 15 minutes long: i.e., epic. >_>

Not really sure why the FF11 got chosen, it has to be said.

Darkness and Starlight is the extended opera scene from FFVI and is fucking immense and glorious.

    DO NOT WANT!

  6. The best transparent pictures are saved as .PNG. If you've still got the original render, or a copy of the file (saved as a .PSD), it's much easier to remake it than to fix it. If you haven't, you can use the Magic Wand tool to select the grey leftovers.

  7. I think in order to get the background pictures in, you've distorted them a little too weirdly. The text could be a bit better, too. In places it looks too plain, and in others it just seems to be a poor choice.

But don't let this discourage you. Take what I've said (and others) and use it to get better. Your only limitation is yourself.

...and the tools of Photoshop... :shifty:

  8. Bah. I was going for the winning-15-online-games-in-a-row achievement, and I was up to #6 or #7, I can't remember which. I put it on Medium, so I knew I could win (don't tell me you haven't done something similar :P). Along comes a guy who's gotten the "Inhuman Achievement", so I could tell it was going to be fun. He picks TDWDTG, and it's the matter of about 10 points for most of the song. 3/4 of the way through, I go to initiate Star Power, but since I'm on a controller, it's too close to the Guide button. I hit it, the Guide window pops up, but the damage was already done...

    DAMN!

  9. A few questionable calls, and a questionable lack of them at times in the Souths/Roosters game. The ref called one or two forward passes, but apparently decided not to bother after that. If I had a dollar for every time the Roosters were off-side...

And you can't tell me that tackle on Craig Wing was fair. He was tackled, and the other guy came in late. That's a penalty. Did we get it?

If you guessed "no", you win the Rooster's sense of fair play. They're not using it... <_<

  10. I second "Radar Love", but I prefer the White Lion version.

Some other stuff that people haven't said:

"Cliffs Of Dover" - Eric Johnson

"Jessica" - The Allman Brothers Band

"Long Way To The Top" - AC/DC

"Don't Stop Me Now" - Queen

    "Natural High" - Hammerfall

"Bat Out Of Hell" - Meatloaf

"The Devil Went Down To Georgia" - The Charlie Daniels Band

    "Freebird" - Lynyrd Skynyrd

    "Dancing Mad" - FF6

    "Final Battle" - FF9

And anything by The Black Mages.

  11. That would be Azura's shrine. Bringing glowdust triggers the quest. You need to go to a vampire den (it'll say which one), and kill 5 of them. Once you've done that, you'll get the Azura's Star item. It's a re-usable Soul Gem. It counts as a regular one, not a Black Soul Gem, so you may want to keep that in mind.

It's awesome when combined with a weapon that has a Soul Trap enchantment on it. Kill something, re-charge, R&R
