  1. You guys are pretty inspiring. I contemplated coming on-board, but I'm more doing a "see every film that comes to my town" challenge. Averaging about one movie every three days since the beginning of November. Could I start adding a few classics during the week? I dunno...!

  2. I will have seen eight of the nine Best Picture nominees in theatres (Philomena tomorrow, Dallas Buyer's Club next week, unclear if I will see Nebraska) and so far one is unlike the others. Gravity looks amazing, but holy man, I can't understand why everyone loves it. I've reviewed 31 films in the last two months, and I've enjoyed 26-27 of them, and I can say Gravity is near the bottom half of my list. It was boring for a lot of it.

    My ranking:
    Her
    12 Years
    American Hustle
    Captain Phillips

    Philomena

    Wolf of Wall Street
    Gravity

    EDIT: Added Philomena.

  3. So I'm bored and want some kind of discussion - what's everyone's favourite Pokémon from each generation, and overall?

This changes all the time for me, but as of this moment:

    1. Muk

    2. Sunflora

    3. Zangoose

    4. Bastiodon

    5. Throh

    6. Avalugg

Muk was always one I thought was really cool, and when it beat that beasty Bellsprout in the Anime, I marked out. Also love Zangoose as it was great in the Mystery Dungeon games for me, and Sunflora may not be a great Pokemon, but I would go out of my way to have one that was awesome. I always thought Bastiodon looked cool, and Throh was my MVP when playing the original White game. As for Avalugg... I love the strictly ice/defensive gimmick. May not be ideal, but I'm a sucker for Pokemon other people dislike.

  4. Totally just replaced AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Bully Ray and other TNA guys (minus Sting) with Hakushi, Bastion Booger, and other crazy characters. Created my own title, and doing battle royals to determine the champs. Always random. First champ was Big Boss Man, followed by Steven Dunn, and then The Great Khali. Awesome.

  5. Got the nWo pack today. Little bummed that Curt Hennig doesn't have a Mr. Perfect alternate, but meh. Contemplating whether I prefer having old school Scott Steiner, or if I'll just keep Big Poppa Pump.

  6. Just maxed out the created wrestlers. If you're curious, #100 was Barry Horowitz.

Just need to edit the final few ratings (I like Sammartino, but not enough to keep him at 100.)

I care a lot more about the other 99 than I ever will about Barry Horowitz.

Roddy Piper, Curtis Axel, Sabu, Mabel, Timothy Well, Steven Dunn, Duke Droese, Kama, Brutus Barber Beefcake, Junk Yard Dog, Fatu, Samu, 1-2-3 Kid, Tatanka, Marty Jannetty, Adam Bomb, Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner, Crush, Big Boss Man, Sid Justice, Brian Pillman, Davey Boy Smith, Savio Vega, Jimmy Del Ray, Tom Pritchard, Sparky Plugg, Jerry Lawler, Jeff Jarrett, Lex Luger, Hawk, Animal, Demolition Smash, Demolition Ax, Jim Duggan, Sting, Earthquake, Typhoon, Mr. Perfect, Bruiser Brody, Iron Shiek, Billy Graham, Fandango, Bam Bam Bigelow, Goldust, Mountie, Giant Gonzalez, Fernando, Diego, The Barbarian, The Warlord, One Man Gang, Greg Valentine, King Harley Race, Arn Anderson, Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard, Owen Hart, Vader, Kamala, Nikita Koloff, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Doink the Clown, Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, Gillberg, Alex Riley, Robert Gibson, Rick Morton, Dick Murdoch, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Big E Langston, Honky Tonk Man, Mo, Jim Neidhart, Bob Backlund, Raven, Tommy Dreamer, Jake Roberts, Jimmy Snuka, Brooklyn Brawler, Paul Orndorff, Irwin R. Schyster, Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk, Ron Simmons, Rikishi, Rick Martel, Billy Gunn, Bart Gunn, Tito Santana, Don Muraco, Bully Ray, Bruno Sammartino, Barry Horowitz.
    :D
When the nWo pack drops tomorrow, I'll replace Mr. Perfect with someone else. Not really sure who, to be honest. Pumped that I'll have more originals (Syxx and Mr. Perfect). That'll be 166 originals. Throw in Bruno/Roberts/Rhodes/Fandango/Big E replacements, and the fact I'll have VIRGIL... 172.
I guess 173 if I decide to go with the nWo Steiner, or Big Poppa Pump instead of the Steiner Brother version I have now. Goodness. I adore this game.
EDIT: Excited for the Jobber Hell in a Cell in January. Horowitz, Brawler, Gillberg, Virgil, Alex Riley and... someone to be named later. Giant Gonzalez?
  7. I've run into Moltres 3-4 times without even meaning to. Use repels, have someone under level 70, but higher than 40-45, and just go from one route to another while you enter the grass.

And no, Shadow Tag won't work because I'm pretty sure they escape before any battle is initiated.

  8. I will totally do that if you post your friend code now because I'm way too lazy to find it.

And yeah, Conquest looks fun. But if I'm going to get a tactics RPG, it'll be Fire Emblem. And I've already got like, five unbeat games sitting around. And a PS4 arriving soon. >_>

    1821-9631-9573 :D

  9. There's a guy called Le_Goldust who has done a great job with the NXT roster (albeit with their stats a bit high for developmental guys) but the Wyatts need their movesets made.

The movesets can be downloaded too. Just search for 'em.

As for the ratings being too high... yeah. Buy the accelerator and you can edit them. I dropped both Rowan/Harper because... yeah, 93? 91? No thanks.

  10. The servers are FANTASTIC. I didn't have too much trouble last year, but I would get kicked off after downloading a bunch of wrestlers. This year, I have not been disconnected once.

If you're willing to edit a few stats, and put in a few movesets, you can find a ton of solid CAWs. I have now filled 85 of the 100 open slots, and most are old school WWF guys. I have legends like Billy Graham, Jimmy Snuka, Honky Tonk Man. I've got guys I grew up with like Tatanka, Adam Bomb, The Mountie, and Savio Vega. I also have horrible wrestlers like Giant Gonzalez and Gillberg. I take that back. Gillberg rules.

The massive tournaments I'm going to do, plus the massive Royal Rumbles... I think I'll make this purchase worthwhile. And considering I also have Pokemon Y, the new Ace Attorney game, and still play Dust 514 on a daily basis, that makes me happy. I rarely played WWE2K13. I usually just "watched" some simulations. I'm actually playing some matches in 2K14.

I also cannot wait for the nWo... Bruno Sammartino... Roberts/Rude/Rhodes... Man, I can't wwait until I get Virgil. WHO WILL BE THE WORST OF ALL-TIME?!

I should see if someone has uploaded the Brooklyn Brawler.

EDIT: They did. Sweet. 86 CAWs.

  11. Actually, Pokemon Conquest was surprisingly fun, and I put a lot of hours into it. The main storyline was pretty neat.

I remember getting it really cheap and just deciding, "Meh, can't be too bad."

And TKZ: Add me to your friend's list. :P I need a Bug Safari type!

  12. Honestly, I'm not sure I will buy next year's game. I'm going to get a ton of playtime out of this one.

Just spent an hour or so downloading 60 CAWs, and now I'm going to get their theme songs on my PS3. Some mild moveset/attribute editing needs to be done, but thankfully, not too much.

Someone needs to make an I.R.S. and I'll be happy.

  13. Are the Nash and Hall season pass exclusives available to download now? Or are they not available until when the nWo pack releases later this month?

They are not available now. You're right; they'll be available to download when the nWo pack is released.

But who needs the Outsiders?! Someone uploaded TIMOTHY WELL and STEVEN DUNN... WELL DUNN! (Not going to lie, I actually really like the CAWs!)

EDIT: Actually, search for "kingofkingsofnite". He has uploaded Well Dunn, Headshrinkers, 1-2-3 Kid and Bob Holly, Tatanka, Big Boss Man, Sid Justice, Leif Cassidy, Mabel, Kama, Adam Bomb, Crush, Heavenly Bodies, etc.
