I think, at least in this case, extra time clearly would have been a better option. Extra time would have injected that last shot of drama into a fantastic game. Instead we came off that high, waited another week and watched a relatively one-sided contest.

Im real happy for Owen scoring, nice to see after the talk about him getting frustrated at his position within the club. The win would have been nice but hell Chelsea/arsenal lost so thats still one point closer than a day ago.

-Any serious racing game(well there was an F1 game on the PS1 that wasn't half bad). -Any GTA game after the first(2 was ok but not as fun). -The MGS series. -Any Tomb Raider game.

Damn that really sucks. Like you said it gives Obertan the chance that Nani got when Ronaldo left and Nani made a good fist of it last season and it'd be great to see Obertan step up and do the same now hes been given the opportunity.

What exactly is it going to take for a Scottish club to be consistently decent in Europe? Not saying actually going on to win or anything crazy like that, just a decent run every now and then, something for the poor ole Scots to get excited about.

I didn't say we were shit, just that we werent good enough last season and we werent. The seasons prior to that, you felt we were in a chance for every single trophy going but we just lacked that extra something that takes a team over the line. I gave credit to the team for making it as close as they did. I love Giggs more than anyone and he'll score a couple but Gibson is still a what if. Nani actually started to mature last season and showed what he can do but needs to do that consistently. Sadly Valencia is injured now but I have high hopes for the guy, Again where did I judge the season four games in? I am judging the team as I've seen it from the start of last season. It's been a mixed start but there has been a lot of good in there. If Berba lives up to the standard we know that may be the key. I clearly said I'd love to be proved wrong and I hope the team does that.

Even though I don't care for either team, it seems wrong somehow that the gf wont be between Collingwood and Geelong.

I've supported the club for over 15 years. Had no idea of the history when I saw my first match and fell in love with the club. I'm hardly going ZOMGWESUCK after 4 games. I'm saying that we haven't been the same club since the departure of Ronaldo/Tevez and we havent'. We were noticeably weaker last year. I'd like to believe we are stronger this year but it's all a bit too much what if at the moment. I remember after 1998/99 people were complaining that "we only won the league" I was one of those that was "yay we retained the league title!" I'm hardly a defeatist, I'd love to be proved wrong and I said as much before.

I'm not judging this by a few games, I'm judging this by a gradual decline since the loss of Ronaldo and Tevez. Same thing happened after Beckham left, took us a few years to settle after that. There is no way we looked great last season. If not for Rooney having the season of his career, we'd have been screwed, The United of old could have relied upon goals from midfield but not so much this team, If our strikers arent nearly breaking records, we are in trouble. You are relying on a lot of what ifs and sure if even a few of the things you say happen, obviously the outlook obviously improves but I have to see that happen first before I put faith in it. I've supported this club probably longer than you've been alive and the club doesn't have a god given right to win titles like some of the glory hunters believe. It's something that the team has to work hard at every single season. I'd love for you to prove me wrong but until I see the hard evidence consistently proven over a few months of the season, as things currently stand, I'm expecting us to put up a good fight but for Chelsea to eventually prevail.

I dont know if I want to get it. I remember playing the Civ IV demo and hating it. Although judging a new game based off a demo of an old one is probably a tad unfair.

Wow hes got incredible inner strength. Hope Stoke has a good season now, even if only for his sake.

I should add, the above doesnt mean I think Rooney will play like shit, just not as well and if he doesnt play to last seasons standard, United arent going to be any chance of being a title threat unless Hernandez becomes an instant success in England and we cant know how he will adapt just yet.
