From what I heard of the new Nightwish, I wasn't impressed. I really wish they would've picked someone on par with Turja instead of picking some popster that makes them sound like Evanescence v2.0 (sorry tiarnantman).

I finally got my hands on a copy today but haven't done much with it. I just popped it in for a few matches to see if I could get the hang of things quickly. Though not as one-sided as I thought it would be, I still lost both matches: first as Petey Williams against Great Sasuke then as Ebessan against demon Muta.

Brown Baggin' It > Every Porn Ever

Years ago, my friend and I went to the porn store in our usual journey of making ourselves laugh. We don't do this anymore but it was pretty fun as we'd go and see tons of guys looking at porn and not making eye contact while we'd be yelling across the store at each other saying "Hey, look at this one!" The best one I ever saw was called "Brown Baggin' It" where all the girls had brown paper bags over their heads with smiley faces on them. Oddly enough, one of my roommates shared his funny pic folder on our network and, lo and behold, there was the cover to "Brown Baggin' It."

I showed my roommates Scarface, who have either only seen bits and pieces of it or not seen it at all. I like to think they enjoyed it, though probably for the wrong reasons as we tend to MST3K any movie we watch.

Yeah, I was basically going to list a ton of black/death metal songs but Bushmeister has me beat.

Anyway, the best obviously scripted reality show on VH-1/MTV is definitely "America's Most Smartest Model", seriously, they make me proud to be of average intelligence. Anyone else watch that?

I was seriously debating dressing up as Flavor Flav for Halloween as, every time I went to a costume store for ideas, I saw nothing but giant clocks and viking helmets.

When watching this, I was thinking "This looks way too cartoony" before remembering that it's based on a cartoon. I don't know, it looks good but it doesn't really capture the true feel of Speed Racer. Needs more cheap 80's anime influence. Maybe they should just take out a few frames of film and just have the character's headshots with only their lips moving or something. I think my main issue that it looks more like a Robert Rodriguez kids movie than a Wachowski Bros. movie. Something's not clicking with me but I can't put my finger on it.

The only exposure I have to these shows is through The Soup on E! It's pretty much the only show that I'll actually make time to sit down and watch. But yeah, Dominico was freaking awesome. And I'd do Amanda, even though she's a lesbo.

I'm pumped for this if only for the sole reason that it'll force Bill Murray to be funny again.

I think it's kinda funny that Wal-Mart is doing this deal considering every time I go to a Wal-Mart (doesn't matter where), their demo PS3 is always frozen. ALWAYS. I've never walked out of there wanting a PS3.

"Knights of Cydonia" by Muse

Ever since I heard so many people marking out when it was announced it would make it on Guitar Hero 3, I had to check out what the hype was all about. Now I love it. The video is classic as well. When I finally got my hands on GH3 at a Best Buy demo, I went straight to Knights of Cydonia on Medium. Even though I brutally failed at 60%, I still love the song.

I went to see the film Stardust with the girlfriend (which I thought would be a gay film) but it's a film that could be overlooked by many and is yet very funny, the unicorn ramming the goat and sending it flying across the room just made me crack up so much, alot more that is should do.

My friends and I have been in a Star Wars mood so we've been trying to watch them all. I've only seen Episodes 2 and 4 all the way and I've seen enough bits and pieces of 5 and 6 to piece them all together but not in one sitting. They've been watching the original trilogy while I'm at work and stuff but I finally saw Episode 1 after the OSU/Michigan game and watched some of Episode 2 yesterday. I can see why people hate the prequels. But we rented Episode 3 and have to get around to watching that soon.

Also the American theatrical release of "The Protector" is the funniest movie EVER made. They cut out around 20 minutes and the movie made no sense whatsoever.

I remember going to see Team America and absolutely NO ONE in the theater laughing at the "Montage" song except for my friends and I.

Actually, I think the new DEP kicks ass. My main complaint with Miss Machine was that all the momentum created a few old school DEP songs in a row would be derailed by a pop-sounding song. With Ire Works, they meshed the old school sound with the poppy sound and created a whole new sound that sticks through the entire album.

My roommate picked up his pre-ordered copy today but I can't ask him how it is as he isn't here. Honestly, I'm surprised that he didn't just call off any commitments and just play that all day.
