I don't know if I trust him or not. He's injury prone and ridiculously inconsistent. But, he has tons of potential, and if ever there was a year for him to realize some of it, this would be it. Solid choice. I figure he's worth the shot for my RB2. I fully expect him to either get hurt or just shit the bed altogether.

At 6'4, 228lbs, Maybin is small for the linebacker position at the NFL level. Maybe if he added some weight he could probably show some of that potential. With the right coaching, system and what not. One of the few moves I can agree with this offseason. Maybin was a owaste of a roster spot from day one. He was supposed to be this badass passrusher and never got a sniff. He was lucky to seeb the field most games. I know it's only one preseason game, but Merriman actually looked like his old self against the Bears. He'll probably blow his knee out in week one though.
