  1. Damn, I have to work late Wednesday next week..what about Monday? I'll probably be getting home sometime around 7ish EST
  2. What a game this has been so far...at the end of the first half, Patriots are beating me by a score of 3-2. I've thrown 4 picks, but have sacked TB a bunch of times. McCoy got hurt as well. Edit: Final score, 16-13 win. Holy shit that was tough. My front 7 bailed me out by sacking Brady 6 times. Ertz and Matthews had decent games, but damn that Patriots D made it tough.
  3. Squeaked by the Cowboys, 21-19. 2 Lesean McCoy fumbles kept it closer than it should've been, but I was bailed out by Jordan Matthews taking a short pass 83 yards early in the game, and stopping a 2 point conversion late.
  4. Hmm...I didn't realize that. Lemme hop on now.
  5. Just off the top of my head, Tommy McDonald and Timmy Brown are still kicking.
  6. Two or three Maddens ago, I'd have known my playbooks inside out. Sadly gameflow/ask Madden/whatever the hell else they call it now has made me lazy. I sometimes need to bring up the audible menu to work out what formation I'm in. I'm just finishing up on Counterspy so I'll get my game in this evening. I'm better knowing where certain plays are on offense, but on defense it's pretty much playing the situation with whatever the suggestions are.
  7. Daaaaaaaamn I'm pissed off at losing that one. What a game, congrats on the W. On that long TD on your first drive, I actually had it set as cover 3, and last second I audibled to an all out blitz. Gonna regret that one. Your front 7 was giving me fits the entire game, too. Your McCoy killed it while mine was just ok. I was feeling like lady luck was on my side on that second Q scoring drive that had 2 fumbles overturned. Your drive at the end of the 1st half scared me, I definitely thought you were getting in. Tackling you at the 2 was relieving, to say the least. In the second half, my defense just suddenly couldn't catch. Counted at least 4 missed INT attempts by Cole, Amukamara, and Kendricks. That hurts when the score ended as close as it did. Next time, I'll be ready for those dinks and dunks to Evans, too. Good game.
  8. Got done my stuff early, I can play whenever..got it fired up now.
  9. I have some things to do today, but would around 4:30 work for you?
  10. This week is actually fairly free in terms of availability at night (EST) anytime after 7 should be good either Tues, Wed or Thurs. I'm gonna be kinda off the grid this weekend though
  11. Bills signed Charles Clay to an offer sheet
  12. Drags, the final score comes nowhere close to representing that game. I thought missing Foles and Ertz was going to absolutely kill me against your D. My defense absolutely bailed me out in that one. I switched to Multiple D before the game to get more chances to have Logan and Rubin both on the field, and it paid off with the pressure (and the 1st half run D). 6 INTs is a big day for the D, to say the least, even if two were garbage time. When you were up 7-6 with like 2:30 left in the first half or whatever it was, I was frightened that Barkley literally wouldn't complete another pass in the game. My bad, the hurry up offense is pretty much force of habit at this point. I was mostly trying to get McCoy his 100 yards. Brent Celek with 195 Yards and 2 TDs is pretty much the surprise of the century.
  13. Pretty surprised Mathews still signed, but him, Murray, Sproles, and maybe Polk should be a good tandem. We need a WR in the draft badly, and have to find safety help somewhere. The Jets should have a really good defense. They've still got pieces in the front 7, and with Skrine, Revis and Cromartie, probably have the best CB corps. in the league. Scratching my head to think of a better group at that position right now.
  14. If you can play at like 2:30/3ish my time, that would probably work best. Any later and I'll be cutting it close, I have work that night and probably have to be in around 4:30-5ish
  15. Gotta be awkward for Mathews, who was in the team facility this morning
  16. My bad, traffic/weather was a bitch getting home and I ended up just forgetting about the game. When is the deadline? Next time I'd be able to play won't be until like Saturday afternoon around 12 EST.
  17. *Jumps off the Walt Whitman bridge* Hitman, it's quite accurate. From my perspective, a lot of people didn't want to see Shady go, but understood the move. This Bradford move (unless the Titans like Bradford, which is something I saw on the Twittersphere) makes absolutely no sense. We're downgrading the QB position and ending up with worse picks? What the actual fuck?
  18. I just saw this..I'll probably be home a little bit after 7 EST (11 pm your time) tomorrow if that works. Other than that I'm working late literally every day this week unfortunately, so the next time that might work would be like, Saturday afternoon my time.
  19. Yeeeeessssssss Thomas to the jags is a great move. They've really got some decent pieces to build around on offense. How is their line shaping up this year? If they can keep Bortles or Henne upright long enough to hit receivers, and their RBs get consistent, it'll be a really high powered offense. That's something I don't think the Jags ever really had.
  20. Ingram and Cobb re-signing hurts the Eagles. If they were interested in Ingram, he's not available anymore, obviously, and Cobb just thins out the WR market that much more (driving Maclin's price up). Edit: And now they're apparently looking at Frank fucking Gore. Dude's like, 1,000 years old.
  21. Yeah, I'm kind of resigned to the fact that they're going to make a run at Mariota. Just gonna throw my hands up and let Chip do what he's gonna do.
  22. I'm Eastern, usually after 7 or so. I won't be able to play Wednesday or Friday though. And depending on when the week flips over, I can't play Friday or Saturday night.
  23. Yeah, Shady's production was down a little bit, but I'd say that's more on how bad the o-line was the first half of the year. Without looking it up, I think he was still #3 in rushing yards?
  24. HO-LEE SHIT. Immediate reaction while I was in the car and heard. Weird cause I rarely listen to talk radio anymore, but just happened to be in the mood to have it on. When I processed the words, I'm weirdly ok with it. I loved McCoy, and obviously he's still a great player in the league, but I like Kiko a lot. I htink him and Kendricks have the potential to anchor one of the best LB corps in the league for a long time. Now, the implications of the move are totally different. I think this and some of the releases they've made (and will be making) set them up to be able to reload in FA along with re-signing Maclin. That didn't work out so well before. By reloading in FA, it gives them flexibility to trade up in draft for another certain former Oregon Duck.
  25. Plubby hits the nail on the head - look at how quick the city took to Covington and KJ. I've heard more fans angry about the KJ trade than the MCW one, and no one knew who he was a year ago. I think that, once the ball really gets rolling, Philly will become a destination. They're building a state of the art campus that'll be opening next summer, which will be awesome. It's still the fourth biggest media market in the country. The national media are talking about the Sixers more and more each week. It won't be totally crazy to see people wanting to come here once the winning starts. Quom, one thing that I do disagree with is when you say Sam is "playing NBA 2K15." They have a system that relies a lot on perimeter shooting and high efficiency. MCW could drive the lane, but the shooting wasn't there and the turnovers were too much. Gotta get a franchise PG, but I think the direction is there. And, I can say with confidence, they won't be trading Embiid like those reports earlier this week said.
