  1. I tried that once, didn't work, there again that was once again in the early hours of the morning. Maybe I should play one during the day or something. Also, when you're up on the ladder with someone how do you chuck them off without using your finisher and remaining on the ladder?

  2. One thing that I think could have made the whole Jarrett/Raven segment a ton more interesting is if during Raven's beatdown on Jarrett he used the lighter to blind Raven in the eye, in a kinda twist on the old Sandman/Dreamer angle. Then use that to add heat to the Jarrett/Raven deal. Good shows though, just could have been more eventful.

  3. Here's my predictions for the COTC, might as well start em off

Unification Match - Sting .vs. Ric Flair

No. 1 Contenders Match - Big Van Vader .vs. Sid Vicious

First Blood Match - Rick Rude .vs. Ricky Steamboat

U.S. Title Match - Steve Austin .vs. Brain Pillman

TV Title Match - Booker T .vs. Paul Roma .vs. Steven Regal .vs. Ron Simmons

Tag Titles Match - Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan .vs. Pretty Wonderful .vs. Nasty Boyz

  4. Loving the Ric Flair speech haha. The Rick Rude speech (if you can call it that since he got interrupted by Steamboat) was pretty much dead on though I did feel the Mickey Mouse bit sounded slightly cheesy lol, though it makes sense what with the location of WCW at the time. Booker and Long should be a good pairing and I don't know why but I have an incling you might expand it into a stable...either way keep going, this diary's getting good.

  5. Hey no problem, and heck Worldwide was usually like that lol. A few jobs, recaps and that was about it. I never watched it back then, but if the format was anything like it was when I started getting it (admittedly 6 years later lol) you nailed it perfectly. I imagine the jobs would still stand, maybe a few more of em.

  6. Good start easy to read and nice main event storyline buildup. Only real negatives I can see is the commentary with Dusty, Rick Rude's interuption and Flair's interview. I saw no 'clobberin' on the mothership of WCW if you weeell which would have been nice but hey there's always room for improvement and it's pretty hard to write, especially without becoming repetitive and sounding authentic.

Rude saying what he did on WCW TV back then wouldn't have gone down well with the Turner empire and no mention of how good looking he is compared to the rest of the audience. He has a right to be angry, it's just I feel he would probably approach is slightly differently. Not that I watched WCW in 1994, I was only 5 lol.

As for Flair his Stylin' and Profilin', Winin' and Dinin', Limosine Riding ways they didn't seem too apparent as nor did the Woo's. Even if he was supposed to be cutting to the chase, he'd never miss the opportunity to Woo if it was ever presented. Anyhow, on the positives the squash matches stick with the times, whilst Schiv is a bit rough on the edges you've got him mostly nailed down. Jack and Sullivan .vs. Nasty Boyz is certainly something I'd like to see progress.

    PUSH PILLMAN!!!! :D

    Keep going (Y)

  7. Seems a good start, not much to comment on, but I will be reading. It has a lot of potential and I'm guessing that you've actually asigned them a TV deal with MTV? Either way, push Kaos and make Waltman put him over cause he hates his guts :P Not that I dislike Waltman, he should be pushed to, I think he's great. But don't you just love being evil in EWR games lol. Good luck (Y)

  9. Once again, the Sega Mega Drive. Got it for Xmas from one of my mums friends when I was 6 (truth is they never played it and didn't want it anymore). Good old Sonic the Hedgehog and erm...Shinobi. Never really was good at Shinobi at the time, nor was it meant for my age range however I did get a lot of joy from my trusty Sega. My next birthday after that I got the MMPR Movie game, as was the fad at the time. Gotta say, occasionally I still do get the urge to play it lol. In fact I love all the old Mega Drive classics more than I do some of the new games. BRING BACK RETRO COME ON!

  10. With the disk making funny noises, I'd be careful to watch your PS2. That happenned to me last year when playing SvR 2005 and it ended up with my PS2 laser breaking and refusing to play PS2 games, PS1 games, DVD's and CD's.

On the game, it's awesome but slightly annoying. Aside from the new controls, which I'm getting used to but I still prefer last years, I've had problems in submission matches where the meter reaches the end of the submit bar and nothing happens, the match just continues. I had a submission match with Kurt Angle in season mode and I got so fed up after giving him my finisher about 30 times and using over 20 submissions and wasting 45 minutes of my life that I had to quit the match. Grr.

Also, THQ have made a woopsie in Create a Moveset mode. The move Drop Toe Hold is most certainly not a Drop to Hold.

  11. World Heavyweight Championship

    Batista © vs Eddie Guerrero

    2-on-1 Casket Match

Randy Orton & Bob Orton vs The Undertaker

Rey Mysterio vs John "Bradshaw" Layfield

    United States Championship

    Hardcore Holly vs Sylvan

    WWE Tag Team Championships

Legion of Doom 2005 © vs Super Crazy & Juventud (Mexicools)

    Heat Match

    Christian vs Scotty 2 Hotty

  12. Good show so far, however pushing Punk this far straight into his WWE run is

    1. Very un-WWE'ish

    2. Pretty absurd based on the fact that WWE is a Sports Entertainment fed, where casual fans rule the roost so to speak and will have never even have heard of this kid, let alone watched Heat to see him beating Shelton.

Even Goldberg wasn't pushed this much out of the gate, nor Brock Lesnar. If you'd have choosen someone else and then had Punk confront them and get in their face, punking them and then having a screaming match with Vince may have got him over a little better, but so far the idea to me seems balmy.
