  1. Woo! Finished the main storyline! Amazing mission and just a lot of fun.

So glad I went with option C. I just didn't have it in me to kill Michael and Trevor. Liked them both too much, especially after doing Michael's optional missions that brought him a bit closer to his kids. And Trevor is...well...Trevor. Killing all those bastards was cathartic.

  2. Robbed my first armored truck! It wasn't particularly exciting as I shot the guards who were trying to load the money into the truck. Jumped some fences to escape the two star wanted level and walked away with my ill gotten cash.

All robberies been the same for everyone? Or different circumstances/rewards?

  3. Holy hell! I was just driving in the area around Grove Street...and I met a familiar face during a random event! Resulted in a 2 star wanted level chase, a new contact for heists and one grand cash!

Patrick (Packie) McReary of GTA IV fame! So awesome to think he could be a part of my heist team!

  4. So I went down to the gas station closest to Franklin's house. Figured it was time for my first robbery. I pull a gun on the guy and he fills a bag with cash, no problems. I shoot the other cash register next to him because I'd heard you can get extra paper. Upon firing the shot, 5-6 gangsters in front of the gas station pull guns on me! Ironically, this is the best thing that could have happened. Two cop cars had pulled up and started a shootout with them in front of the pumps! With both sides' attention gone, I dashed to the side and over some fences and hid behind a house while a damn riot erupted not but a block away.

Eventually the 2 star wanted level faded and I had a lil' extra paper in my pocket. Might have to do that again...

  5. Y'know, despite all the dickery Microsoft presented alongside XBox One...I was gonna buy it. Still looks like an easy bet as far as the games go. The 360 has been good to me despite getting on board late and I figured One should be the same after some adjustment.

Then Sony blew me away with the PS4. Will likely be my first day one console purchase/reserve ever. *Sniff* I'm comin' home!

  6. Enjoyed SR2 the most. Sure there was ridiculousness in it, but it was also serious in the right ways, in the right moments. Storyline actually mattered y'know? SR3 got the controls right, and I enjoyed the combat, but the story felt like a parody.

And the way they killed off Gat? C'mon man.

  7. Sooo...bought the Citadel DLC. So very, very worth it. I'm a big fan of Bioware, mostly of their ability to make such endearing characters. And get those characters you shall. A new hub, minigames, collectables....and of course a kickass mission with lots of great dialog from your favorites. For all the upheaval over the ending and whatnot, this absolutely felt like a love letter from Bioware to the fans. Feels a bit fan servicey (That a thing?) but I loved it.

    Oh, details you ask?

A villain that hits close to home!

Wrex pays homage to Randy Savage!

A space hamster in minor distress!

    Gambling!

A sweet apartment you can upgrade!

    Kasumi investigating your underwear drawer!

An arena with flexible combat options!

    Cameo in a Blasto flick!

Just...go get this. Combat isn't groundbreaking but it's a wonderful piece of DLC. Glad I bought it. It's a fitting final meeting with your squad mates and a great way to end the Shepard trilogy.

  8. Sooo...Citadel. One last story DLC. Really hoping it's as great as I'm hoping. All (or most) of the characters I love appearing for a final spot in the Shepard Trilogy. I'm really gonna miss this iteration of Mass Effect. Sure, the next game will likely have a different name, set in the same universe, but I was kinda hoping it'd be something like 4-6 centuries in the future. Plenty of time to let the Shepard legend grow, see the after effects of your choices. Eh. On the bright side I haven't been doing any multiplayer lately. Now's as good a time as any to dive back in!
