  1. I worked Glasto security this year, i'll imagine you will have a good time K. It's a huge site, something like 13 miles around the perimeter and there are plenty of places to visit and so many different types of places at that. It was good weather this year which helpedthis, although it did rain for about half a day and the place was a muddy mess - which ain't my cup of tea personally. I think 50 Cent actually went down rather well at this years Glasto so i wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Kanye West being the headliner next year.

  2. I'm pretty much done with Saw, unless they decide to make another movie that's nothing but a compilation of all the deaths in the movies before them, because that's pretty much all they're good for anymore. I liked the concept of the first one and the second one had some sweet deaths. But when I watched Saw 2 and they had to employ the "LOUD NOISE" scare just for someone walking up behind someone else, I knew it was time to stop.

    LOUD NOISES =/= scares.

To be fair in SAW 3 and 4, i thought they improved upon the deaths. I don't believe the films to be strictly horrors now though, you do know what you are going to get with a twist or twists at the end of the film, but I enjoy watching them and trying to work out the twist before the end. In SAW 4 there were enough clues if you knew what you were looking for.

  4. Reading for me too.

Kevin Doyle and Leroy Lita have scored way too many goals against me. The better team i am, the more they usually score aswell.

just do what i did and sign lita, hes actually fucking awesome after a couple of seasons or so.

  5. I seem to have a few bogey teams, Oldham down the leagues and for some reason Derby in the Premier League. Fuck knows why. Currently heading into my third season with Man City (the Thai era not afterwards) and have managed to sneak into the Uefa Cup for this year with a League Cup win over Everton and 6th place in the league. My team at the moment is looking like this:

    (4-4-2 Diamond:) 1. Handanovic - GK, 4. Onohura - RB, 2. Garrido - LB, 22. Dunne - CB, 16. Corluka - CB, 3. Motta - DM, 9. Bellushi - RM, 12. Petrov - LM, 11. Elano - AMC, 8. Lita - CF, 14. Palacio - CF

    (Subs:) 13. Hart - GK, 18. Bouhlarouz - CB, 7. Ireland - AMC, 15. De Guzman - AMC, 10. Bianchi - SC

Apart from a lot of my players trying to leave I have a good squad here, finally reaching its potential so hopefully more cup glory this year!

  6. Everyone raises some very good points, although I always said that Dos Santos and Modric would be players that could not jump straight into the first team. They are two good players, both possibly over-rated slightly in my view but thats everyones opinon. Without being rude to Tottenham, bearing in mind both these players were available to transfer in the summer and teams like Man Utd and Arsenal were sniffing, surely alarm bells should have gone off when Fergie and Wenger both realised how over-rated these two players are and how they wouldnt gell into the premier league.

  7. Let's look at the facts here guys. Spurs are a big football club - Check. Are big football clubs too big to go down - No.

I know this is quite a bold statement but from I have seen this season there is going to need to be some further extensive surgery on Tottenham at January...and by then how many points are they going to have dropped? How many points could they be behind? It doesn't help that Hull are doing well, Stoke look like now and again they could grab something similarily to West Brom. Then you've got Newcastle who are also in a lot of trouble, although for them unlike Spurs it can be sorted before January. And also being completly honest Tottenham's points talley this season currently deserves to be zero. I have never seen a flukier point in my life than the one at Stamford Bridge because they were a poor side.

Tottenham's problem has gone from being simple to being pretty complex, for the first time ever I can say Tottenham have got more problems than just having a poor defence, as a side they have always shipped too many goals and this is just continuing. The problem now is truly that Ramos has gone and screwed himself over. I NEVER would have sold Robbie Keane to Liverpool, I can understand if he wanted out - however unlike Berbatov I could have seen Keane sticking around with a bit of persuasion and perhaps a new contract. Sure £20 million is a lot for Keane but bearing in mind how much of a huge player he was for Spurs I don't see how the money could replace him. It's exactly the same as Ronaldo and Man Utd, Ronaldo could make them a fortune, but why would you go to the trouble of replacing someone who is the key man in the team? Who is going to be able to come in and jump into those boots straight away? No-one, it rarely works like that in football.

Secondly Ramos' signings have been pretty poor. Giovanni Dos Santos and Luka Modric to begin with. These two players are not the sort of players who will jump straight into the Premier League and perform, they need time but sadly the way its worked out with the players heading out (Malbranque etc) there is a lot more emphasis being placed on them. Dos Santos has a known attitude problem and thats why Barcelona were so happy to let him go. Modric while he has had some phenominal games abroad has never struck me as a Premier League quality player, I even argue the same about Arshaven - if he's your get out route in January you are in serious trouble. Pavylchenko on the other hand I am reserving judgment on for a bit, I hope he is a success and he looks like he could be although even if he can score - where is his support going to come from. This season so far it's not just been about Bent being poor, he has had nothing from the midfield to help him.

The only option now is to work an entirely new formation and really work on it, because everything has changed so fast at Spurs over the summer the players heads are just spinning. Get a new tight formation with a tight nucleus of the side and attempt to maximise everyone's best qualities. If that happens, and to be fair Ramos is capable of that then Tottenham will be fine. I just don't think its going to happen, I think Ramos is going to panick buy in January if he's still around and fill the team with more players like Dos Santos and Modric who aren't going to be able to dig into a relegation scrap come the end of the season.

I really hope Spurs don't go down, don't believe that I want them to crash and burn because i don't. The Premier League needs its big sides and Spurs are one of them. I just have a grave fear that everyone is underestimating how bad a situation the club is in at the moment.

  8. This is just like the Pardew case for me with West Ham - where I wish things go wrong for them now. Not in a sinister way, but in a way that people apprechate Curbishley for what he has done a lot more. Alike Pardew before him he did a great job and shouldn't have had the pressure on him he did, I would have walked on that alone, he was doing nothing wrong but still getting slated in the press, its insanity. Sure the fans are a bit frustrated at having to knock Macclesfield out at home via extra time but every team has an off day, and they still stuck four past 'em by the end. I just pray that Curbs gets himself a nice club to manage now where he won't get this shit he has had at Upton Park.

  9. I'm dissapointed with this album personally, I didn't think rushing into a new Slipknot album was a good idea in the first place and it hasn't worked. Corey and Jim should have done the third StoneSour album instead like they originally wanted to. Meh, it's a bit shit and features far too much filler.

  10. I've mostly been listening to Sevendust - "Chapter VII - Hope and Sorrow" recently which is a blinding album. Tracks like "Hope", "Scapegoat" and "Contradiction" just blow me away. Can't wait for these guys to storm the UK, sadly as only a support band but I have waited seven years for them to come over here.

  11. Sweet, this news has made my day. I'm not such a critic of Season VIII as a lot of people, I felt while the stories within the shows were not of the best quality some of the actual comedy within the writing was the best Dwarf had seen. Wonderful news, now they need to get their arses in gear and film it :D

  12. Well a good start to the season for us, conceeded one goal in the league, 10 points from a maximum of 12, top of the league - and most importantly we won back to back games for the first time in over a year! I never thought I would ever see that again from Leicester. I wish we had dumped Fulham out of the Carling Cup, although while our league form has seen dramatic changes this summer it seems our cup form is identical. Play any Premier League side, outplay them and then end up conceeding two late goals to lose. But oh well, what a season it looks to be - and with Leeds fucking themselves in the ass at the moment it can only get better :P
