Time for King Kenny's dreams to be shattered! 3-2 Everton I'm going for
-
I really enjoyed that game, think a draw was a fair result at the end too. Not sure who the nob head who threw the flare thing on the pitch though, some people have ruin it for everyone don't they. Hope Villa are given even less allocation for the next derby game.
-
Not a bad half considering 0-0 at Birmingham, I feel Birmingham should have had a penalty though.
-
Sunderland: Gordon, Onuoha, Bramble, Ferdinand, Bardsley, Elmohamady, Henderson, Richardson, Malbranque, Gyan, Bent.
Subs: Mignolet, Zenden, Angeleri, Da Silva, Riveros, Reid, Colback.
Newcastle: Harper, Simpson, Coloccini, Williamson, Jose Enrique, Barton, Nolan, Smith, Gutierrez, Best, Ameobi.
Subs: Krul, Guthrie, Routledge, Lovenkrands, Perch, Gosling, Ranger.
Birmingham: Foster, Carr, Johnson, Ridgewell, Murphy, Bentley, Ferguson, Hleb, Gardner, Fahey, Derbyshire.
Subs: Taylor, Bowyer, Phillips, Zigic, Beausejour, Mutch, Jiranek.
Aston Villa: Friedel, Clark, Dunne, Collins, Walker, Albrighton, Petrov, Reo-Coker, Downing, Carew, Agbonlahor.
Subs: Marshall, Pires, Delfouneso, Cuellar, Bannan, Hogg, Baker.
There's the teams, no Andy Carroll then. Is that because he is still injured, or is he on his way to Spurs as the rumours have been saying?

Watson 1, England 0
That was an amazing innings from him.
Can't fault it, you'd be proud of that in a Test match, nevermind a ODI. Some brilliant cricket again all round, we've been spoit this Winter.
-
England 294 all out in 49.4 overs, Australia replied with 297/4 with 5 balls to spare, to clinch a 6 wicket victory, Australia lead the ODI Series 1-0 with 6 to play.
-
England have lost this now
10 from 12 now Australia, tense finish again!
-
Phil Dowd at Liverpool, Clattenburg at Birmingham vs Villa and Webb's doing the Sunderland vs Newcastle game.
-
If Mark Clattenburg was the ref they might aswell just give us the three point now
-
Iran beat North Korea 1-0 yesterday followed by Iraq beating UAE 1-0 too, a 90th minute OG sealing Iraq's first points of the competition.
Today Saudi Arabia, who are already aliminated, take on Japan. And Jordan play Syria. These are the final Group B matches, if Japan win and better Jordan's result then they finish top of the group, Syria must beat Jordan to overtake them into second place.
I got that completely wrong, those games are tomorrow ^^^^
Today is China vs Uzbekistan and Qatar vs Kuwait to complete Group A.
-
So decent wins for Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal yesterday. Makes the game more important today, COME ON UNITED!! If we beat Tottenham then we arguably have four games in a row that we should win in the coming weeks (Birmingham (H.), Blackpool (A), Villa (H.) and Wolves (A)). After that we have Man City at home on 12th February, which will be a HUGE game!

I'd trust Leeds more than Hartlepool. And there's bound to be better 'bankers' elsewhere offering longer odds than the Hartlepool game.
Haha I'll give you that, good job I didn't put it on.

RIP, a true legend. I live just down the road from Bolton and have many friends who could go on for hours about how much of a special player he was. 30 goals in 33 caps for England too, that is special in it's self, RIP.

West Ham to win 3-2
-
I've won the last four weeks Tomorrow I'm going for;
Coventry V Sheff Utd
Preston NE V Leicester
Sheff Weds V Charlton
Crewe V Port Vale
£20 on for a £209.95 return
I got 3/4, Coventry vs Sheff United let me down, was a dreaded 0-0! I'm never betting again
-
4-3 City, unbelievable game. City top of the league though United have 3 games in hand mind
-
I'm hoping Blackpool beat West Brom, got a bet on them trebled up with Charlton and QPR wins. I think City should run out easy winners second half, I do fancy Blackburn at Chelsea though.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has revealed Michael Mancienne will remain on loan at the club for the rest of the season.MK Dons have snapped up Queens Park Rangers striker Rowan Vine on a month-long loan deal.According to reports in German magazine Kicker, Ruud van Nistelrooy has told Hamburg he wants to be allowed to rejoin Real Madrid. The veteran Dutchman has been lined up as a short-term solution for Real's current striking troubles.Aston Villa have completed the signing of Lyon midfielder Jean II Makoun. The Cameroon international has signed a contract until 2014 and has cost in the region of £6million.
Interesting about van Nistelrooy, he's after one last swan-song at the top I reckon. And when will Wolves sign Mancienne on a permanent, he's been on loan at Wolves now for like three years!

I like West Ham, never really been a big fan of O'Neil though but I think he's always suited at a lower club rather than a bigger one, so I think he'll do well.

Martin O'Neill to replace Grant as manager of West Ham
Martin O'Neill will replace Avram Grant as manager of West Ham after Saturday's match against Arsenal, BBC Sport understands.
The Hammers are bottom of the Premier League after winning four games all season, although Grant had lost only one match in his last seven games.
On Friday, Grant refused to be drawn on speculation, insisting he was focused only on Premier League survival.
O'Neill quit Aston Villa out of the blue on the eve of this season.
Huge news for West Ham, feel a bit sorry for Grant though, but O'Neill is a massive coup for them. He's sure to steer them clear of relegation

Tonge just never seemed to kick on when he was in his early 20s, after he did this against Liverpool in the League-Cup Semi-Finals in 2003, I thought for sure a Premier League club was gonna come in for him then.
Fast forward to about 4mins20

He's still only 27 though so with a bit of luck he might get another crack at the Prem, but I think you're right, he's a Championship class player at the moment.
-
Stone Cold, what do you think of Michael Tonge? He's on your books, just been called back from loan at Preston I think? He was always highly rated when he was at Sheffield United but since he moved to Stoke he hasn't had many games. I only ask because I went to school with the lad and big things were predicted for him back then too.

I've never seen anyone throw-in like Delap does it, it's not just the distance he gets, it's the way the throw is more flat and direct, rather than high and looped. I'm not sure he is replaceable.

I've not seen Liverpool play like that for a while...
