Hi everyone. I’m sure you’re all aware that there hasn’t been any news in months, and unfortunately the only news I have to report is bad. Tsunami Bomb has broken up.

Now, if you’re a fan and friend of ours (who this letter is directed to anyway), your first thought is probably “NO!” and your second thought is “WHY?” Well, there are many factors that have come into this decision to break up. Fortunately, there is absolutely no drama going on between band members. We are all still friends and hang out, and the last 7 years (or 2 or 3, depending on member) have been some of the best of our lives. We got to tour the world and make lifelong friends on the way. We all still love music and love playing music. Sadly, the breakup is because of everything but the music. Over the years, while steadily growing more and more successful, we’ve also become more and more weighed down by the business end of the music industry. The side that you guys don’t see as music listeners is immense. Managers, labels, sales numbers, sound scans, agents, producers, accountants, lawsuits, royalties, contracts... the list goes on and on. If all of these parts of the business stay aligned and go as planned, things should be easy to handle. That has not been our case. We’ve actually nearly broken up before each record has come out, for different reasons each time. This time we decided we would get ahead of the mess and stay friends.

Although all this must seem very selfish of us, we do wish that things would not have gone this way. Personally, my main regret is letting all of you down. We are eternally grateful for the support you’ve shown us throughout our existence: most of you have stuck by us through member changes, musical evolutions, etc. and we won’t forget it. You are the reason we’ve kept going for so long -- without you, we would have ended years ago in a garage, practicing in front of a bunch of 6-year-old neighborhood kids. Tsunami Bomb fans have been some of the nicest, friendliest, most courteous punk rock concertgoers ever -- other bands should be honored to have you guys as fans. We owe it to you to answer any questions you have about our breakup, our futures, or whatever else you want to talk about. A few of us will be present on the message board as often as possible to help with this (and a few of us don’t have the internet). The message board will be up for at least a few more months. Also, we’ll be maintaining this myspace page and kinda using that as a mailing list, because our mailing list is now defunct. We will have some announcements coming up about remaining merch sales (we do still have all of those new designs I promised you months ago)!

ok..I got into Coheed with IKSOSE and bought Good Apollo..I like Coheed and but I don't "get" Coheed at all. Do I actually need to buy those graphic novels they sell on their site so I can "get" Coheed?

As for returning punts, I never risk it. Usually you get tackled inmediatly or get 4-5 yards. It seems the game has AI issues with the blockers because they just stand there and do nothing.

In '05 the punt return blocking was pretty good. This year they "tweaked" it and made it suck...

Geez..this is a huge blow to the history of the NY hardcore and punk scene. But seriously..couldn't Civ had just bought the club with the money he's making form that car commercial...(note, that is supposed to be sarcastic..while I don't doubt Civ got a pretty decent payment to use his song in that Nissan or Honda commercial, I didn't really expect him to buy CBGBs...

So EA has used mind-control to manipulate you into playing the game whether you like it or not.

Yeah...I'm pretty sure you have a choice whether to play the game or not. If you don't, then deal with not playing football games. If you do, don't piss and complain that you suck since you are coming from ESPN. Everytime I see someone complain they are coming over from ESPN series and are pissed 'cause they don't win all the time and will find whatever possible to pick out of the game and say that part sucks to make them selves feel better.

If you don't like the game, don't play it. Don't bitch...that simple.

I was an ESPN person..LOVED the ESPN games. AS soon as EA bought the NFL license, I bought Madden '05 so I can get used to it...I had no problems after about 1 month..I still like ESPN better, but will happly play Madden

Just starting out myself (Game was released today in my local store and I had the first copy on pre-order). I aced the IQ test, got drafted by the Steelers. Big Ben went down in Week 2 of the season and I've become the starter. Averaging about 200 yards a game at the moment, mostly on slant patterns to Ward, which is good cause I'm getting absolutely NO run support.

I can't QB slide for some reason..whenever I run with the QB and press the slide button, he just dives forward...

You probably would have been a good running back with those parents as well. Someone with speed, but the strength to run over the defence.

my webmaster keeps saying I'll make a good backup quarterback..despite taking the Bills to the superbowl and getting Rookie Of The Year, MVP and Offensive Player Of the Year...I'm doin good with a 79OVR QB...80 speed but 70 arm strength..I wonder how my NCAA 06 guy would do if I actually played that game..got drafted 2nd round to the 49ers...88OVR pocket passer, 89 arm strength

Didn't you find that you didn't have enough throwing power (seeing as you were probably meant to be a rb)?  That was my problem.

Oh, I just started a second superstar game...this time as a FS and I started out rated 92 overall.  Kind of like not building a guy up at all.

Yea, my arm strength is low as hell. I'm not one to go deep very often though. I like short passes suplimented by a strong running game, which has been workin so far for me as QB

I did the randomly generated parents player in Superstar mode..dad was a backup running back, mom was a trackstar..I'm a QB with a speed of 89...

in Francise, i chose my team the Eagles..I traded TO away to the Redskins for Rod Gardner and Santana Moss. Going to trade Pinkston and a 2nd round pick to the Falcons for Price...signed tai Streets, Ty Law and Teddy Bruschi from free agency...Bruschi can stop the pass, Trotter can stop the run so I have my defense buffed up really well

So I lost my second game 13-10 to the Ravens. In this one I played better defense than offense, being able to break trough the lines and sack Boller and his replacement often. The problem is that my offense was so bad. I had zero running game until late in the 3rd quater and the passes where not that good either. It also pisses me off that the CPU substitutes players for me when I dont want it to. Any way to change that? I hated it when I called for a deep pass play only to realise I had Mike McMahon at QB and TO and Pinkston where also on the bench. I was down 10-3 with 3 minutes left and I managed to tie it up running a two minute drill, constantly passing the ball deep and then switching to the run to keep them off balance. But then, after a forced fumble and with 30 seconds left, instead of letting the clock run out and going to overtime, I tried to make one last run at winning and ended up tossing a fat one to TO and got intercepted. The Ravens nailed the field goal with 3 seconds left the very next posetion and I lost.

I need to get better at this and fast. I even have the guide and have been practicing a lot of plays, so it is a matter of time. The thing that is killing me right now is adjusting to the game after years of playing 2K5. Also quaterback vision is still giving me trouble, I got sacked 7 times in that game because I ended up unable to toss a quick pass to get rid of the ball. But I dont want to turn it off because I feel this is what sets the game apart from the rest.

Only time I've noticed the auto-subs are during pre-season games..then its not possible to shut it off..just after halftime you have to re-adjust your depthchart to put your starters back in. But you don't need TO or Pinkston...my 2006 game I traded TO to the Redskins for Santana Moss and Rod Gardner..add that in with Tai Streets picked up off free agency and I'm doin great...

As for the QB vision giving you a problem..well..thats something you'll need to adjust yourself to. A bit of a help though..I dunno which version your playing..hit the button to bring up the receivers..right trigger in Xbox, I dunno what in PS2..during the play hit that and quick hit the button for the receiver you wanna throw to...you'll adjust your vision to that receiver right away. Hope that helps a little bit..trying to adjsut the vision by usingh the thumbsticks is a royal pain..I did it during some practice sessions and got sacked about 20 times...

all picks after round 1 are more or less random. You get picked by whatever team the CPU feels needs a player at the position you play. My created superstar was an 88 OVR quarterback. I got drafted round 2 pick 1 by the 49ers and played ahead of Alex Smith, 81 OVR, to start as QB
