  1. Yep. He was resurrected from MK4 by Rayden, and has been around since.
  2. I wouldn't quite say that Primus was fucked up because of Oysterhead, but it's fair to say that Primus isn't on top of their game at the moment. Of course they're not at the same peak they were before, becuase the original lineup wasn't together for years prior to the reunion. So give Primus some time, and they'll be fine.
  3. That's a fine defense, but if you ever pull that wanna-be heel promo bullshit with me again after I ask a simple question, I'll have to use a small, two-syllable word that you can understand.
  4. A nice try at zinging, my friend, but you're waaaaaaay off. You see, The Zinger is the leader of The Annoyance Alliance, who's sole purpose is to annoy and zing all those who cross their path. Roleplayers are at the top of our list, and suffer our smart-ass wrath more than they obviously care to
  5. In one of the dumber moments in Annihilation, Noob Saibot comes out of Ermac and joins in the fight against Sonya at the end (this is where Motaro is fighting Jax, and Kang is about to throw down with Khan.) And syco, think of it like this. If your spine was ripped out, you'd be dead rather instantly. However, imagine the fear and confusion in your mind if someone ripped off your own leg and started beating you with the bloody end. Now add onto that someone in the background screaming "YEAH, YOUSE IS MAH BITCH!" while he's doing it =P
  6. It's a good fatality, but c'mon, nothing says "pwned little bitch" in a video game like ripping off the opposition's leg and beating them the rest of the way to death with it. ESPECIALLY when you do it to Kang, and his screams last about 15 minutes after his corpse has hit the ground. And "Sub's" best fatality came from MK3, where he held you above his head and broke you in half. I say this because I remember seeing it in the original commercials and realizing that I had seen nothing freakier in my young Midgety existance.
  7. Cage > 99% of all MK lore. The only thing that owns more than him is Quan Chi's Leg Beat fatality, which is the greatest fatality in MK history. And darrdor, this would be the second time in the movie series you've crapped yourself, as Noob was featured in Annihilation.
  8. Yeah, get all the hasty generalization in that you can
  9. Ah, and how are they all different? Differing melodies? Unique rhythms and usage of time signature changes? How, I ask. Step up, defend thy band with more than just a simple "they're not repetitive because they don't repeat themselves".
  10. Closest tour date you'll get is when they come to Atlanta.
  11. Shinnok was the evil former Elder God that escaped his Netherealm confines (where he was put by Rayden) thanks to Quan Chi. Nok, after conquering Edenia (the home of Sindel, Katana, Mileena, etc.), focuses on Earth and revenge against Rayden. And for those curious, MK's storylines were practically my life from age 13-15
  12. Yeah, I'm nine days late in the matter, but hell, I've been busy keeping you people in line Seriously, though, create a hero and jump on the Virtue server. You may find ye ol' Midget under the guise of the sexiest beast to ever roam the concrete plains: The Zinger.
  13. Robotic Smoke > 98% And it was Reiko who's ending suggested that he was Shao Khan's successor or relative.
  14. To be fair, most of the *insert prefix here*-metal bands do have a decent sense of humor. Type O Negative, Cradle Of Filth, etc. aren't afraid to have a little fun, even at their own expense. However, Beatnik has a point, although it can span to every genre of music, not just *random word here*-metal fans. There are fans of rap, pop, rock, and numerous other forms of music that I'd like to beat within an inch of their life for their narrow-mindedness.
  15. 1. I think we've all come to the conclusion that Annihilation did, in fact, suck the longest one available. 2. I will watch the third movie, if ever released, because of one thing: Christopher Lambert has openly stated he would like to do the role of Rayden again. 3. It was Quan Chi that beat people with the leg in MK4, not Shinnok. Numbahs, tsk tsk, I expected better from you
  16. Careful with those names. Some of 'em may break when they hit the ground
  17. 1. Disturbed's new album -- complete with new bassist John Moyer (formerly of Union Underground) -- is looking at the end of the year or early next year for release. 2. Godsmack is still touring for "The Other Side" and "Faceless". 3. With a song critique like that, I have but one reply. Clearly, new-school Metallica is your only option.
  18. Btw, all of you Hot Topic shoppers will have a good shot at collecting a special vinyl single of "Duality" that features "Don't Get Close" as the b-side. Only abut 13,000-15,000 of these are getting released, and most will be featured over at Hot Topic. They'll be hitting HT shelves today, along with the CD.
  19. Yep, "Jurassic Bark" features Fry's frozen dog, Seymour. It's easily the most heart-wrenching episode of the series. As for Beavis & Butthead, I believe Mike Judge let it go in order to concentrate on his then-new project, King of the Hill.
  20. Intriguing, Bond, because I believe Corey is on record as saying that this is Slipknot's "Abbey Road". Hopefully they won't get thrown into the huge pile of artists that claimed their latest works were on par, only to fall well short.
  21. Yeah, but you've got to figure that "Obsoletely" focuses primarily on Bender. It's a similar premise in how the character develops, but story-wise, "The Sting" was necessary. That being said, there's no better Bender moment than when he... I've never laughed as hard while watching the show than with that.
  22. If it's the stop on July 15th (which I think it is), you'll be getting Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Seether, and Evanescence.
  23. Yeah, this is all subject to opinion, but I thought "The Sting" was pretty good, but only after you see the last episode. It was the best setup of Fry & Leela, and not to mention Bender's lament about waffles.
