  1. No worries on that. You're able to do some damage when first starting out. You don't have to run off and die to kittens before you can fight real criminals Also, there are always a ton of people looking for teams, regardless of your level. The game even features a nifty tool that allows you to search for people looking for teams while you play the game.

    The Strokes

I realize it's a figure of speech, but three years doesn't really fly as a short time span musically. That usually means two consecutive albums that have done well, which is the case for The Strokes, as both of their last two efforts have met with good reception. Of course, three years are thrown out the window if you're Tool. Then albums come about once every other new president
  3. Back off, lunchbox. Glasses can add much hotness to the right lady

    DJing

Technically it's a music convo, so off to Entertainment And yes, I love to DJ. But like every other instrument I play aside from percussion, the stuff stays in my HQ.
  5. I dare you to change your legal name to Black McFap Thompson. That's rock star in a bucket, right there. And I know what you mean. Hopefully he'll just settle on one name for this tour, at least.
  6. He's back to Frank Black.

    The Strokes

Then how come they brokethrough in 2001 with "Last Nite" and have continued to be successful in the spotlight, three years after the fact? Kinda says something when you're the flavor of 36 consecutive months.
  8. Komodo had a cool point for his good taste in robots, but lost it when he boo'd the greatest bot to ever form into a square: Biohazard

    The Strokes

The band's fine, but they're by no means a musical revolution. It's what happens with every indie band that makes a splash in the mainstream: they instantly become the saviors of rock, when in fact, rock doesn't need a savior, it's doing fine. Back on track, however. The Strokes are okay, with "Reptilia" and "12:51" being their best songs, as they both feature that laid-back, groovy rock sound.
  10. Honestly, this Ozzfest strikes me more as a time warp back from 1970 to 1996. Sabbath reuniting again would be alright, but they should finally just get their stuff straight and either do the band, or let it rest. Stop yoinking us around like Kiss.
  11. Musically, they're just a hair short of complete chaos, but they manage to keep it together somehow, ala Glassjaw. The band's extremely talented, but given their style, they're going to be saddled with the underground life in the sense that any attempts to move away from it will result in probably fatal backlash. Alas, though, the band is rockin'.
  12. The advised amount of space is 2 GB, but even after installation and downloading all the patches, it tops out at 700 MB on my machine. And believe you me, this is a much tighter game than Freedom Force. The level of detail and gameplay here are remarkable. Friends have spent nearly an hour decorating and developing just the looks of their superheroes. Of course, Hobo Man didn't take much effort for yours truly
  13. Yup, $15 a month, but the first one is free (you can also buy gametime cards for $25, I think...those offer two/three months of time if you don't have a credit/debit card.) And funny you mention D2, because I just finished beating Lord of Destruction
  14. It may be a bit pricy ($50 for the game itself w/ a free month, $15 a month after the free month), but it's at least worth a look.
  15. The only movie I have seen this year has been Godsend. It was pathetic. A **, at best.
  16. Deary, it's a Mammoth Multiplayer Online RPG...he'd need a computer of his own if you were going to have any online time And thug, the premise of the game is that you create a superhero and assign how they became what they are, and what powers they have. You then go through, defeat gangs and other assorted baddies, and use experience to choose new powers. Not to mention it's fun to play as The Annoying Nerd
  17. Actually, I'm close to buying that CD. Both singles have been very good.
  18. Unfortunately, there's no demo just yet. There are some rumblings about one being released, though.
  19. Fair warning, they have a rule against using copyrighted characters, so you may have to name 'em Spyder-Man
  20. I have fallen in love with this game. Easy to pick up and play, fun for people who do and don't like to group up, and above all else... ...the expansion pack lets you be a Supervillain! All fear The Evil Midget! B)
  21. Heads up: For those unaware, they're going to be part of Lollapallooza for those that in the path of that summer festival.
  22. She's hot, no doubt, but a lot of people just absolutely despise her new album due to it taking on arrangements and sounds that are more run-of-the-mill. While it's a hit-and-miss album, the songs that work further prove her writing ability as nice.
  23. Stickin' to the rock lately. And if anyone gives some hassle for the Liz Phair, I moidalize ya 5. Switchfoot - Meant To Live 4. Queens Of The Stone Age - Never Say Never 3. Liz Phair - Extraordinary 2. Days Of The New - Hang On To This 1. The Devin Townsend Band - Depth Charge
