  1. Naiwf is on point, although I'd consider Vander Meer's two consecutive no-no's as one feat, because I don't know how you can choose one over the other. One the one hand he did walk 8 in the second game with as opposed to 3walks in the first. He did however strikeout 7 in the second vs 4 in the first. Also throw in the fact that he could have been tired going on only 3 days rest. I could never make the call so I always just considered it one big feat. In my mind if you split either up and consider each on it's own then Larsen's is better.

  3. Just so you know, all of the sites are making the punch seem lucky, especially the AP report I read on CBSSportsline. It doesn't blatently say it was lucky, but the way it is described more or less does, so Hit Man is not crazy.
