  1. Is Bush? Last time I checked we don't currently have a draft going on.
  2. They had to have volunteered at some point to be soldiers. What I was saying is that if you never volunteer in the first place, then you can not be a military casualty in war.
  3. WRONG, Moore has admitted himself that this movie is nothing more than a personal attack on the Bush family, and not actually an attack on the premises of the war. If you had watched the movie you would have noticed that Moore's criticism of the war was only part of the bigger picture.
  4. What would a Michael Moore movie be with out the obligitory pimping of Flint. I love how the mom pimped over the army on her kids, then all of a sudden *shock* *gasp* *horror* her son dies. Wait, what's that? Oh you mean people die in war, well holy fuck! Then she attempts to place the blame on Bush and the military. Last time I checked there is no such thing as a draft. And what does that mean? Yep you guessed it, YOU CANNOT BE SEND TO WAR IF YOU DO NOT VOLUNTEER YOUR SERVICES TO THE FUCKING MILITARY. So if you don't want your son to die, then don't pimp the military on him. It's a sad story that he died, and that you couldn't afford to send him to college, but how can you in right mind blame the military for your son's death when he wouldn't have been there if it was for you. Absolutely sickening.
  5. I just moved from Deportivo(where I won three straight league titles) to Middlesbrough who are currently bottom half of the table. I don't want to say I regret leaving, but I miss having good players and having money available to but even better players
  6. And this is now where you have lost absolutely everyone in this thread. Bashing America is soooooooooo passe. :thumbs-up: Way to go Asshole.
  7. You are the stupidest fucking person in the world aren't you? The Swedes screwed no one, Italy was not at their best, so they are back home right now. England, well I can't decide whether it was a foul or not, but they didn't play their best, so now they are going home. Here's my problem with these conspiracies and blaming refs and such. There is no reason to blame a ref IMO because if you had done your part and played well the whole game, then you should be winning. If you have to let a game come down to a decision by a ref, then you have not properly done your job.
  8. You are kidding me right? You are going to tell me that two countries would conspire to have a tie score just to keep Italy out. Even if the game was 1-1 Italy still wouldn't be going through. Face it, Italy did not play well enough to get through plain and simple.
  9. Having played both I can safely say that OOTP blows Mogul out of the park(no pun intended). It is far more in depth and is easily worth the money.
  10. Are you being serious, because from my vantage the player of the tournament so far has been (and as a French hater it pains me to say this) Zidane easily. That touch onto Gallas was ridiculous.
  11. Damn Trezeguet and that handball, damn him to hell!
  12. The difference between Weaver and Jackson is that Jackson actually took money, dispite not actually throwing the games. IMO that makes him more guilty than Jackson. Also I believe they also could have focused more on Comisky being a miser, but I think the scene with Cicotte(29 wins when he needed 30) planned that angle kinda of in the minds of viewers. I still firmly stand by the belief that neither Weaver nor Jackson should have received lifetime bans.
  13. Ok well I just finished watching Eight Men Out, and I got to thinking, do you believe everyone threw the series? Personally I do not and here's why. First off Shoeless Joe did take the money, but if you look at his stats you'll see that he batted I believe .375. Now I don't know many people who throw a series and still bat nearly .400. Now Cicotte, Williams, Gandil, McMullin, Risberg, and Felsch, I believe they did all conspire to throw the series. That leaves one more man, Buck Weaver. He batted over .325 and he made no errors during the series. He was banned for having knowledge of the fix and failing to report said knowledge. That in my mind is pure bullshit. How a man can receive a lifetime ban for essentially doing nothing wrong(sure he didn't stop it, but come on that is splitting hairs) is beyond me. I believe that for the most part Landis did the right thing, but I don't believe Jackson or Weaver should have been banned for life.
  14. Maybe I was watching a different game but the Denmark/Italy affair was fairly one-sided towards the Danes. Totti was not good, Del Piero was unspectacular, and the subs(save Gattuso who did bring some pace to the pitch) were awful. If there was no Nesta, Cannavaro, or Buffon this game could have been very much lopsided.
  15. Yea I could see it now... Playboy:Malnourished Hotties edition They could bring in some tribal Africans too. It could be a total skin and bones fest.
  16. ...and yet still they are incredibly NOT hot. The one needs to eat, and the other needs to eat more. Besides that they still look 14.
  17. It should be noted that Birdstone won his last race at Belmont too, so he knows the course and has run well there in the past.
  18. He didn't lose either, he was beaten by a horse that made a huge run down the stretch. I could see if he was like 10 lengths out, but he was never much farther than 5 lengths ahead, and wasn't even that far ahead coming into the stretch.
  19. How did he choke? The distance is what got him, not nerves that would cause something to choke.
  20. I could never ever find Mutant League Football when I tried to rent it. I did find Mutant League Hockey, and it was one of the greatest games I've ever played.
  21. Yea, because Kelly Holcombe will be the solution to all their problems.
  22. I just want to know what everyone here thinks of the movie, feel free to add why you feel the way you do.
  23. [slaps face] Dear lord, it's people like you who give us a bad name. Anyways I am tempted to say Becks, because he was good, but I think he's probably 2 years past his prime.
  24. I personally don't like Man U or Arsenal because they both take large amounts of cheap dives.
