  1. Is it soft like "So Far Away" or heavy like the old Staind?

It's more like old Staind than So Far Away, but it's not very heavy at all. It's like a cross in heavy-ness (weight?) between Could It Be and Falling Down.

I like it, I think it's a good song, but my file of it cuts out at the end so I don't get the outro fade-out thing.

    Lyrics, for those who care

  2. He thought he needed Palpatine to teach him the ways of the dark side and save Padme, but in the end, he was going slay the Emperor just like Palpatine did to his master.

Which, of course, he does at the end of Jedi. Whether or not this was written in on purpose or not depends on how well you actually think the story was told in RotS.

Well, he kills Palpatine in Jedi for a much different reason than he alluded to in Sith. Anakin was young, selfish and power hungry in Sith, but at the end of Jedi, he kills the Emperor in a selfless act to save his son. And on top of that, he sacrifices himself in the process, proving that deep down, Anakin was always a good person but lacked the patience and level-headedness needed to be a Jedi.

On the topic of Vader killing Palpatine to save Luke, I thought it was interesting he did nearly the same thing, but with the sides switched, in RotS. When Windu was reflecting the lightning back on Palpatine in the chamber, Anakin's pose and everything was pretty much what it was when he was Vader when Palpatine was frying Luke, and Anakin saved the weaker one in both situations.

I just thought that was interesting.

  3. So... I guess my show got buried in all this huh?  :(

Just for that, I read the show thoroughly so I could give some feedback. :)

All of your matches were well-written, and I could picture them all in my head. I was not expecting Shane Helms to come out during the Spanky/Money In The Bank match, and it was a nice surprise.

What I didn't like was the commentary. It seemed a little wooden to me, but that's probably just me.

Overall it was quite good though. Nice work.

  4. Most of my friends at school know that I'm a big Evanescence fan. As do a lot of people on here.

But I also like some Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, some Britney Spears, Creed, some J-Lo, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Maroon 5, Michelle Branch, Nickelback, Saliva, Staind and Vanessa Carlton.

And that's not everything I listen to. :P

My music taste is all over the place.

  5. Lita would make a shitty Psylocke.  Psylocke is a total femme fatale in the comics, which is the complete antithesis of Lita's tomboyish demeanor.  I could see Trish as the White Queen, though, but I'd rather they got a serious actress for the role, since the character has so much potential.  Anyone who's been reading Whedon's run on Astonishing or how Morrison revitalized the character in New X-Men knows what I'm talking about.

FS has described Psyloche to me, but who's White Queen? I haven't read the comics, just seen the movies.

  6. I don't know since when, but IMDB lists him appearing on WCW Saturday Night.

I didn't even know he was a wrestler.

I did. It said so on the X-Men 1.5 DVD. He was Big Sky in WCW, and apparently teamed with Kevin Nash in the early 90s.

Trish may be good in her role. However, Lita has no chance in hell of being good. I really hope Lita doesn't get that part.

I actually think, with the talent around in X3, Lita might do alright on the silver screen. In performance art, you tend to rise to the level of those around you. I should know, I do drama for school. When the people who aren't very good are on stage with me I don't do very well, but when the good people are onstage I do better than usual.

So Lita might have a chance.

  7. Twilight Zone, Season 1 Definitive Edition

    $85

I'm two clicks away from buying it.  Somebody stop me.

(Or at least distract me buy -- er, by continually discussing the cooler moments of the original TZ.)

Why are you buying things when you have more important things to worry about?

    Like writing up Revolution :P

  8. You find little camera icons in San Fierro, and if you photograph all 50 you get weapons at your garage, as themick says.

To add photos to your gallery, press L1 instead of Circle to take the photo. It'll ask you if you want to keep the photo, press X for yes and Triangle for no.

  9. It's not actually in Los Santos city, it's in Red County. You need to head up North to that big expanse, to one of the towns up there (I think it's Montgomery). You'll find the betting shop there, and in an alleyway beside it you'll find some satchel explosives.

  10. Try Jim Brickman ft. Martina McBride - Valentine. I'll have a look through my song cache for more and add them when I find them.

EDIT: Maybe also Darren Hayes - Insatiable or Seal - Kiss From a Rose

  11. I did this mission the other day, and I can assure you that going out to the ocean, going down the western edge of the map, swinging around and flying through the corona is the easiest way to do the mission.

On the way back, just go the same way as you did on the way down there, but reversed.

If you do that, it's quite easy.

  12. Remember that mission where you have to chase down Jizzy in his car and kill him?

Well, I recognised his car outside of the building. So before I went in the building, I shot his tyres. It actually worked, he came out, got in the car and repeatedly slammed into traffic. Less than 30 secs after he had gotten into it, I had pull him out and killed him.

I did the same thing after I got busted once doing that mission. I busted his tires, so e moved like molasses on the road. I got my MP5 and riddled his car with bullets, got out and blasted him with my Sawn-Off Shotguns (double sawn-offs = ownage).

  13. Reading that again reminds me of that gut feeling I got the first time I read the Destruction of Kathleen bit. That spooked me big time when I first read it, and still spooks me a little.

    Having said that...

    BRING ON NOVEMBER!!

Seconded. November contains Survivor Series, which I helped book. Better give me credit Dukes, or I'll come after you with a broom.

  14. I had a done-up Remington in the Grove Street garage, with a custom paintjob with a pink car colour (makes the paintjob look awesome).

I come back from a mission one day, and the paintjob's gone. Completely. Disappeared. So I had to take my pink Remington all the way back to Loco Low Co. and get the paintjob back. Grr.

My brother did the more-than-two-cars cheat thing (where you park a car right under the garage door so you can fit more than two cars into the garage), and came back one day and the third car was gone.

  15. The Firetruck and Ambulance missions aren't difficult and can get you quite a bit of money.

Hint for the Ambulance one, do it at Angel Pine. The place is so small you don't have to go far to get all the people and take them to the hospital.
