I'm not sure if I really understand those rules fully lol, if you explain a little better I think I'd be down for that. But that did made me think of a little spin-off I wouldn't mind doing a poster for a wrestling pay per view featuring a match between a wrestler and an athlete outside of the wrestling industry, example: Shawn Michaels vs. Mike Tyson. Or Docpepper wants to clear up the rules a little.. who can we put on the poster? I don't know who's dead and who's not and the whole concept is a bit confusing to me right now, maybe it's cause it's late haha.

Led Zeppelin kinda hard to come up with that list. Honorable mentions for Eric Johnson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix and Lynyrd Skynard. Unfortunately I don't listen to that great of variety so that's mainly all classic rock.

That really doesn't make any sense to me. If Led Zeppelin was still bringing out new albums I'm pretty sure everyone would be looking to them to "save" rock just because the bar's been set pretty high for a band like that, nobody's expecting nickelback to save rock. And I mean I'm not a metal fan myself but I love me some metallica. They're just better than the rest, and for as long as they're going to put out albums, there's just gonna be higher expectations for them than for everyone else.

does anybody else watch palladia? That channel's awesome, it's on 816 on digital cable for me and used to be called MHD (Music in HD). I've seen dave matthews band, eric clapton, tom petty, black crowes, wyclef jean, zz top, heart, radiohead, the who and tons more on there. They've got days dedicated to country and rap too, so there's a pretty good variety. Idk if anyone else watches it, but it's definitely my new favorite channel.

Dave Matthews Band. It's always them other than a few changes here and there. Although I guess literally right this second I am listening to Don't Do Me Like That by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Good stuff.

Batista was on the show, he didn't wrestle because of injury, but he came out and cut a promo, that's why I wanted to have him in there. The Sabu one's pretty good. The pictures are blended well, the text is good, I think it needs something to stand out. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, there's just nothing that makes it just be a "whoa" graphic. Bryan Danielson's is nice, the color and the text fit the style, and there's a good variety because of the fact that you have one action picture and one still shot, and I really like the text for some reason. The smackdown/raw one is the worst of the group in my opinion. The pictures are alright, but I've never been a big fan of the cut in the middle splitting the two pictures. If you took RVD off, and put the raw logo higher, because it's a little odd that it's not all the way to the top when the smackdown one is all the way to the bottom. It's probably because you didn't want to cover up the title, but I still think it takes away from the graphic. Pretty good overall though.

haha, I figured you misread the rules because you ONLY included what was said should be in the graphic. But I haven't made much outside of wrestling graphics, so you'll probably have the advantage of the next set. Anyone else got a vote?

I'm pretty sure you have to post an actual explanation, I don't know if that's official or not though.

Just wanted to say that I have something that's about half done and should be ready to post by tomorrow night. Hope you're still interested in this, MystikFool, or I think I can hit a record for consecutive gfx battles with no show opponents .

it's not bad if you're new at graphics. I don't particularly like the One of a Kind text, or the RVD cut on left. There's nothing terribly wrong with it, there's just nothing that stands out and makes me go "wow, that's a great graphic" either. I don't really know how to explain myself any better, but it's DEFINITELY a lot better than the things I used to do when I started out. And I know I'm still not that great, but I've gotten pretty good, so you should get really far if that's one of your first. I used to just paste pictures on black backgrounds and call them banners . I'd say 6.5/10, it's just borderline average, if you changed the text and played around with the cuts a little, and maybe used a less blurry cut of RVD on the right, you're good to go.

sure, sounds good to me. Maybe for the third set, if needed, we can include both? Maybe a wrestler making a movie and designing the poster or something of that sort?
