  1. TNA Spoilers

Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards will be debuting at Genesis, also a lot of other ROH talent is expected to debut on the show.

where did you hear that last part?

I know its still a month away and we don't know how it will work out yet, how will the WWE Network affect the game? I mean should it be included in the networks, and should NXT be added to the list of WWE shows since it will be on the network? Also how will having the PPV's on the network effect the PPV's in general? Just a bit curious on thoughts on this from people.

  2. Fantasy booking? If you are doing that use a fantasy scenario, or just modify a current one to your liking. These are to be real stats, not what we remember them as. We aren't saying he can't do it at all, but his stats should be altered significantly. When your bread and butter involves talking and you can't talk very well anymore, than you don't deserve to have high stats in talking situations (i.e. manager).

  3. TNA

remove Tito Ortiz and Quinton Jackson from TNA

Has this been confirmed? Last I heard they kept them off TNA to promote the fight that never happened. I just figured they would be re-introduced at some point.

Speaking of which, how does King Mo fit into TNA now? Since TNA dumped OVW, is he still training there? Not sure what his status should be, as I figure he would be re-introduced on TNA at some point.

  4. I would make a stable with Jesse Godderz, Robbie E, & Zema Ion called Bro Mans with with Robbie or Jesse as leader. I would also make Zema as a manager and set him with Jesse and Robbie.

Not sure I would make Ion as the manager because he doesn't really manage them. However, he hasn't been wrestling on Impact lately, so for morale purposes I guess that makes sense. I would have Robbie be the leader though.

I found out the other day that Prime Wrestling closed down, so you can remove them from potential new feds to add.

  5. Because WWE always follows through with even short-term booking plans like that, right? Just look at mortal enemies AJ and Kaitlyn, now fighting on the same team at the PPV for no raisin. I'd say give it a few weeks and see how it pans out.

They are already in the data, why wait? Just make them active again, it's not like they have to be added.

Don't get me wrong, I agree WWE doesn't always follow through with short-term booking, but this is a current update why wait two months to add teams that don't appear to be one-offs.

As for the AJ and Kaitlyn, they have a reason for them teaming, its Total Divas vs. the other divas. It doesn't mean they will be friendly, it just means they are on the same team. I'm sure they will go at it at some point possibly costing each other a pinfall or something.

Also as for D-Lo and other people that need updated stats, you need to make suggestions. Even if people dispute them, its a starting point and allows for discussion. Just saying they need to be updated doesn't do much.

I was using the September data and went through the first 200 relationships. I didn't mention most of The Samoans relationships because I didn't know where to start. However I posted on here just to get an opinion on if any of these should stay. At one point I will start posting them in the actual suggestion thread, but I kind of wanted a general guideline from some people before I posted all of them in there. With the exception of Hogan-Piper (which I don't know the story on), I figured most of these could be deleted on the basis most of these are 10 years or so old and I don't think they would still be the case today. Just because people talk to each other doesn't make them real good friends *i.e. they wouldn't lose sleep if they weren't working in the same fed or lose morale.

The only exception besides Hogan-Piper, could be Hyson and Heyman could be amended to friendship, but I still don't think it needs to be included.

So I guess my other reason for posting is how close of a friendship do people need to have in real life to be considered a friendship in the game? Name dropping in interviews to me seem to be a stretch, but seeing pictures popping up all the time of friends I can understand. Also, should loyalty still be between trainers and students? I say no, just because trainers help a lot of people so they could be linked to TONS of people in game where in real life they may not have contact with them once the students graduate.

  7. It's just my opinion but I still think we should cut out the inflated relationships and tag teams who haven't teamed in many years before removing workers. Then we can see how smooth the game runs and how long it takes. I think that would help a lot. I have no problem with the long loading time, but I do understand those that do.

Now I have a question, we are discussing the theories and such in here, but has anyone made suggestions in the suggestion thread yet about these theories? I'm just asking because if we don't start doing it, aren't we just running around in circles?

  8. Just to bring something up since we've been discussing tag teams- is there a reason Robert Gibson isn't in the game (or did I miss him somewhere?) I find it odd that Rock & Roll Express isn't in the game even though they still compete. I'm not saying he needs to be added (or else I would put it in the suggestions thread), but I do wonder now if there are other aging tag teams that are not in the game for whatever reason.

  9. I could go with that, with maybe exception to B. I think if were can eliminate A, C, and D, then we can see where we are at and go from there. Sometimes teams like Mysterio and HBK were thrown together then a couple years down the road storylines would cross and they would team up again. I'm not against keeping them in the game (which in this case since HBK is retired, this team could be deleted).

2008 though seems to be a good cutoff point initially just to cut some of the excess down that may not need to be kept in.

  10. Non-workers- I don't have a problem keeping them in. Shawn Michaels doesn't wrestle anymore, but still shows up on occasion. When he shows up, people want to use him in their game in some capacity. It may seem like it just takes a couple seconds to add them back in, but when you just have 4 or 5 guys a month you need to add just because they pop up a few times a year, it makes more sense just to keep them in. I do agree though that their stats do need to decrease over time though. Bill has stated many times that he has a few pages of backlog that he tries to work on each month in addition to the suggestions made by people. No need to make more pages just to add/remove people who are still alive and in the game.

Nobody is arguing against Shawn Michaels still being in the data, though. They're saying that when Giant Gonzalez is still kicking around in there, it's time to purge.

I just used him as a recent example. Somebody mentioned Edge earlier (maybe not to remove him but as an example as well). Though I do agree someone like Gonzalez should be removed (especially since he passed away in 2010). Kamala could be another example as I doubt he wouldn't be used in a multi-week storyline.

I think the first thing though is removing some of the relationships, then we can weed out some of the retired workers. I think maybe if a 5 year limit would be good. If they haven't wrestled or been used more than a couple times since say 2008, we could start removing them.

  11. Been hearing things about TNA being up for sale, idk if this can be affected in game but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway just in case.

I don't think it can really be changed unless we put no owner in charge and let the game pick one. Personally I don't believe the rumor, but even if it was true, I would wait until after it was sold to make any change.

Nikki Roxx I saw is announcing her retirement after her December 6th match for Lucky Promotions Wrestling Show. Guess its a little early to make her a non-worker, but something to keep track of for future reference.

I have a question about the game? How should this AJ Styles storyline work in EWR? He is taking bookings for other promotions (AAA for one), and defending the TNA title. I know he will be back in TNA at some point, but should we give him an open contract? I can't remember, is it possible to be unsackable in one company and have an open contract (work for other feds)? If so I think that would be a good temporary solution until he returns full time to TNA.

  12. I don't want to get into all this on most of the other stuff, but have a couple thoughts on non workers and relationships.

Relationships- I have said for a long time that there are way too many in the game. I've even used the argument that anywhere you work you create friends and people you dislike. Unless they are best friend/mortal enemy, you won't lose sleep (or morale) just because coworkers are fired. If they are relatives that a different case. I think we could probably cut half of the friendships out of the game and it would speed the start time up and would still be accurate. Really the only friendships that need to be kept are ones like HBK and HHH that are so obvious that they are more loyalty than friendship.

As for the MMA stuff, eh whatever. I'm not going to lose sleep over what the decision ends up being. I say it has worked the way it has for so long that nothing really needs to be changed. Maybe we make sure that suggestions made for the shooting being ticked is realistic or makes some sort of sense. I heard Harry Smith was training in MMA so I could see him having it ticked, but someone like Kofi- not so much.

  13. Unless he has done something different in the last couple month's I would disagree on Rickey Shane Page being menacing. I also think he should be paid less than Krimson. I would change Krimson's wages to 9000 and Page's to 7000.

I also think Krimson's charisma is fine where it's at. He's good but putting him any higher would move him into one of the better ones in the game and I'm not sure I can agree with that.

Otherwise among the ones I know of, I would agree with, keep it up.

  14. According to cagematch, he also goes by Jester, who is in the game. He wrestles as both names it appears in different federations. The other fed he has wrestled as Jester lately is Black Diamond Wrestling. I say if he is a champ in IWC, then add him there and change his name to Keith Haught and Jester as an alter ego. I would also add Dark Dragon as an alter ego as well.

EDIT: This may not be the same person. Haught according to cagematch is American and Jester in the game is listed as British. The pictures look fairly similar though.

Another edit: sorry. It's not the same person, Haught is NOT in the game. Jester in the game is Jack Jester (as his alter ego says). I would change his name to Jack Jester as that is what he has wrestled as lately. Jester and Lee Thomas are alter egos. His weight is 229 according to cagematch, and in the game he is listed as a lightweight. Not sure if that needs to be changed.

    Okay. Done editing.

  15. See someone appreciates all the hard work I'm doing.

Nobody asked you to do it, nor is what you're doing particularly useful to the vast majority of people who play EWR. The only thing going for what you're doing is that you're not suggesting adding in more and more relationships into the game.

I think its very useful. These people may not be used by most people, but this is a stats update that is supposed to be realistic. If not than we can just do a update every 6 months with only updates to the top three feds.

I for one don't play this as much as I used to because I've had a lot of distractions this year. I am thankful that someone is keeping stats up to date for ones besides the obvious ones. Like last year or whenever it was when someone on here was keeping updates on CMLL and AAA. I miss that because it keeps it real. It also makes it easier (and more understandable) when guys become overnight sensations and then don't need a 50 point speed increase just because people suddenly know who they are. One aspect I like about this game is that it has so many guys I never heard of before that when I hear their name outside of the game it feel like I know them. I'll see stats on a guy I want to sign that I'll look him up to see how good he is. It makes the game better especially when signing developmental guys when you know them as opposed to just guys with decent stats. I finally got to see CWFH a few months ago on TV and there were only a couple I never heard of before. That was because I knew them from the game. So I think its very important and useful to do it. Plus nobody asks Bill to update the stats every month, but I everyone appreciates him doing it. If Fusion wants to do this, I am very grateful for him going through all the trouble to update these lesser knowns that could just have the same stats for 5 years with no change.

To get back on topic though, is there a reason Eric Watts is listed as Jason Watts in the game? On the CWFH website he is listed as Eric. I also noticed a couple people on their site not in the game. I forgot who they were, I'm not on the page now. Also if anyone wants to add some people, there are a few people from Prime Wrestling not in the game either. I know the few isn't in the game, but would be nice to have more people and would make it easier to add Prime into the game at some point since they have some fairly big names there (Zach Gowen, Gregory Iron, Jimmy Jacobs, Gargano (an original), and Rhino has been there a lot lately).

  16. See someone appreciates all the hard work I'm doing. As for Din T. Moore, since he had an ROH match, his wages should be raised a bit more too, probably around 7000?

7000 sounds good. It was more of a one off I think, but still I can see it being bumped.

All for now, I'm getting GTA 5 tonight so I might be able to make enough time to get the rest of these changes done before the end of the month.

I hope to play that sometime this week. Just got done playing Saints Row 4 so I'm still in the mood for some destruction. Now is the perfect time for my gamefly trial.

  17. - Lower Dakota WLW's wages to 3000.

I would also make him inactive. According to his website (which was last updated in 2009) he hasn't wrestled since 2007. I would also change his name to Neal Isaak (his real name) since WLW isn't in the game anymore. Also change him to a lightweight (listed at 215 on his website).

    - Raise Din T. Moore's brawl to 51, speed to 9, tech to 5, over to 4, charisma to 43, selling to 48, and wages to 5000.

I would raise his overness to 9 or 10. He was in an opening round tournament match for ROH earlier this year and has wrestled more actively than I was aware. I never seen him wrestle but Moore has teamed with Nick Colucci a couple times, he needs to be added to the game and the team known as Beer City Bruisers.

Keep the updates coming Fusion, I'm glad you're doing it. Also thanks Bill for the monthly updates. I haven't played much lately, but it makes it much easier to start a game with current stats.

  18. Change the dislike between Ahmed Johnson and Jeff Jarrett to a hate, Johnson called him "extremely racist"

Add a friendship between Ahmed Johnson and Booker T, they grew up together and it was Booker T and Stevie Ray that got him into wrestling.

Add a friendship between Ahmed Johnson and Ron Simmons, after Simmons injured him they became friends and rode together.

Add a friendship between Ahmed Johnson and Vader, they use to ride together.

Add a dislike between Ahmed Johnson and Shawn Michaels, it's Shawn Michaels.

Add a hate between Ahmed Johnson and Mr. McMahon, McMahon told him he'd never be in the hall of fame and he'd erase him from the history books.

I agree with most of those with a couple exceptions. The ones with Ron Simmons and Vader don't need to be added I don't think. If the game was set 10-15 years ago, I would agree, but its 2013. I doubt they hang out all that much these days.

I think part of the problem is that a lot of these relationships (especially the friendships) are just outdated and irrelevant. Look at Justin Credible. He is friends with all the other members of The Clique. In 2013, one of his friends is in charge of firing and hiring of the largest wrestling company in the world, yet hasn't hired him for a postion (unlike those like Billy Gunn and Road Dogg). Sure they may still hang out and talk occasionally, but in the wresting world, friend is tossed around too much. You are friends with most people you work with, then once you no longer work there, you don't talk to them as much. It's not that you hate them, you just lose touch with them. It's nice to catch up with friends from 15-20 years ago and you may still call them friends, but you won't lose sleep or morale if they are not working with you everyday.

Going through the June data (I never downloaded the July stats), Shawn Stasiak is friends with all of the other Power Plant/Natural Born Thrillers. 13 years ago, yes, that makes sense. 2013 it really doesn't. I'm not sure how often he wrestles these days (last I heard he enjoyed being a chiropracter and no real interest in wrestling full time), but I'm not sure he's booking or cancelling gigs because Mike Sanders is/isn't on the card. Again, they may talk and hang out, but neither would be too upset if the other isn't in the same company as them.

I know in the past I have complained about too many relationships, and I still think there are, but I think before we decide to overhaul it (which I think might need to be in order), I think we should have definite guidelines about how deep friendships should start, loyalty, hatred, and such. Also some guidelines for how much time should pass before we evaluate these friendships. Are friendships in 1996 relevant in 2013? What about dislikes? The guide is too vague in definitions for these and should be addressed.

Having said all that, I recently saw a Stone Cold interview, and I would remove the dislike with Eric Bischoff. He said his firing was water under the bridge, and things worked out ok in the end and they even worked together afterwards, so they both moved on.

  19. Add a friendship between Dean Ambrose and Joey Mercury.

Add a friendship between Dean Ambrose and William Regal.

Add a dislike between Bully Ray and Matt Morgan.

Add a dislike between Maria Kanellis and Brie Bella.

Add a dislike between Maria Kanellis and Nikki Bella.

What's the beef with Morgan and Bully. I know Bully said some stuff in an interview, but he was slightly in character I believe.

  20. I don't get to watch much of Metro Pro Wrestling, I mainly follow it through their website- http://metrowrestling.com/ and from some other websites and twitter. They have a TV show on a local sports network, and the Heavyweight Champ, Mark Sterling, has been fighting champions from other feds, or other big name stars. Their website is pretty accurate, and the roster on their page is pretty accurate as far as I know. Adam Pearce and Colt Cabana do appear often, so they aren't just one offs. I wish I had more info for you than that. They do have a lot of videos posted on youtube to help with adding the wrestlers not in it.

Another fed I watched (until recently) was Prime Wrestling. It didn't seem to me the website was updated too regularly, but they also have a TV show on a sports network (the channel is a regional sports network, but it broadcast nationally). I know they had a few iPPV's a year and it has seemed in the last year, they have lost a lot of momentum. Sometimes it picks up in the summer for their August event- Wrestlelution. They usually get some big names for one offs. http://www.primewrestling.com/index2.php They also post videos of their shows to get an idea of the stars, among them are Johnny Gargano, Matt Cross, and Gregory Iron, who all play major roles in the shows. Gargano and Iron have been there since the inception.

Hope that helps a little, sorry, but neither come on my tv anymore, so I don't follow on tv, just through the net (actually I'm done with Prime, but it wouldn't be a bad fed to include).
