  1. Thanks as always Bill!

I've been watching some of PRIME Wrestling's stuff lately and, while a good number of their workers are already in the game (especially their bigger names, some of whom are from ROH or CHIKARA), I thought I'd add some of those that are missing. I might go to a convention next month hosted by NY Capital Region's In Your Face Wrestling and eventually might do stats for some of their people too. It'll be an ongoing process but here's a few to start with (I'm something of a stats newbie, my only previous worker contribution being Hale Collins, so if anybody wants to polish any of these up feel free)...

Awesome! I'm terrible at stats and have used Prime a couple times. They get some pretty big names for a smaller promotion. Any chance you can do stats for another promotion- IZW based out of Oklahoma? I'm not sure how many aren't in the game.

    • Lightweight

    • 70kg (154lb) limit in Mexico as of the mid 1980s.
    • 70kg (154lb) limit in UK.
    • There were world titles in the US around 1920s.
    • 68kg (150lb) limit in Olympic wrestling before 1996.
    • 155lb (70kg) limit for MMA under the rules of the Nevada State Athletic Commision as of 2000.
    • 135lb limit in professional boxing.

So using that theory, I guess just to settle the arguement, make most of the male wrestlers heavyweight and move on. Or, since Bill is the one that puts all the hard work into making the updates, let him make the final decision. For the record, I'm fine with it being 230, 225, 220, or whatever. I use more lightweight people most of the time, but not only for lightweight titles.

As for adding more wrestlers, I'm all for it. I would much rather have backyarders who compete in a ring every week, than some celebrity who pops up for a one off appearance. If stats are provided for an individual, then add them. I personally think the game takes longer to load more because of relationships than wrestlers added anyways.

  2. I'm fine with backyarders anywhere being added. I am a bit leery though on charisma (or any stat for that matter) being in the 70's. However, since I didn't watch any videos of said wrestler's, or really care to, I can't really argue.

Also I do agree that if you take Nash out of WWE, that Austin and Michaels should be out too. The only argument is that Nash has been known to pop up at Indy show's from time to time while Austin and Michaels would never be involved with something not done by WWE.

  3. Why is Kevin Nash not in WWE? The guy is on a 5 years legends contract so he can't sign with TNA or any other organization. Same for Diamond Dallas Page and Roddy Piper

I thought the Legends contracts were just for licensing deals (i.e. games and action figures)? I heard that a few years ago when I think Vader signed one. Did something change? If not, I wouldn't put any of them in WWE.

  4. Just curious if anyone thinks Tommy Taylor needs a slight overness boost. This whole #Steelhorsing internet craze is worth somethin huh?

I say raise his overness to around 35. I'm never good at these things so its up for debate. Steelhorse Vachon isn't in the game, so I guess he can't get a boost.

For those unaware of what I'm talking about here is the story- http://www.lordsofpain.net/indy/Wrestler_calls_cops_on_opponent_New_wrestling_term_steelhorsing_is_coined.html

Video of the match itself is included.

  5. I was wondering if someone could some make some pictures on kyky. I can't post the pictures on here for some reason, so I'll just post the link to the album they are in. Thanks in advance.

Tthe Full Throttle Saloon ones aren't the best I'm sorry. If someone want's to find better ones, they are more than welcome. The Jesse James Dupree ones are the ones that I would use most often anyways.

  6. ROH

    - Rename Archibald Peck to R.D. Evans

    - Remove Christopher Silvio, Matt Taven, Mike Sydal, Ricky Reyes, Tony Kozina

    - Add El Generico and MsChif

    WWE Staff

    - Rename Tony Luftman to Tony Dawson

    - Rename Renee Paquette to Renee Young

    - Add Tom Phillips

    Tom Phillips

    Male

In an update, I would keep Mike Sydal in ROH for now. It's been announced he's in their Top Prospect tournament coming up.

Also remove Emilio Charles Jr. from the game. He passed away from kidney failure in the last couple days. Don't have specific links, but it was on Mexican websites, and Zema Ion tweeted about it last night.

  7. Thought I would show some I made recently. Some are from IZW Wrestling based out of Oklahoma. They aren't in the game I believe, but if someone wanted to add stats for the wrestlers, that would be cool. I also made some of non-wrestlers including a couple MMA fighters.

In order they are: Bryan Cruize, Canadian Red Devil, Cody Jones, Damien Morte, Jermaine Johnson, Jordan "Lights Out" Jacobs, Rage Logan, Chandella Powell (former UFC ring card girl), Julia Budd, Meisha Tate, & Sarah Kaufman.

  8. Change Mike Chioda's age to 32. Birth Month: August

Replace a random referee with Rudy Charles. Age 18, Birth Month: November. (His first ref job was in July of 1996) (Possibly in the USWA)

William Boulware Jr. (Rocky King) was a referee at some point before he retired (possibly WCW), No age or birth month, but possibly use him instead of a random ref.

Add Fidel Sierra, Birth Month: July Age: 36

Add Horace Hogan, Birth Month: October Age: 31

Add relationship: Horace Hogan/Hulk Hogan (nephew/uncle) and Horace/Mike Awesome (cousins)

Change Kimona Wanalaya's age to 19 Born in November of 1976

    Count Grog- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Count_Grog#Southern_Championship_Wrestling_.281994-1998.29

Add Matt Knowles (HC Loc) debuted in 1996- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Knowles

    Alter Egos:

Ole Anderson: The Black Scorpion, Rock Rogowski

Fidel Sierra: The Assassin, The Boricua, The Cuban Assassin, David Patterson, David Sierra, The Destroyer, El Cubano, Top Gun, Fidel Barrio, Especialista II

Horace Hogan: Horace, Horace Boulder, The Predator, Hollywood Horace Hogan, Michael Bollea

I know it's not ECWA stuff, but when I get sidetracked I start searching stuff for hours.

  9. http://www.thehistoryofwwe.com/wcwsaturdaynight96.htm

Here's another site with results from WCW Saturday Night in 1996.

I'm thinking Joe Gomez should be a face, as well as The Renegade. I would put Renegade's gimmick at Power And Paint too since he was a knockoff of Ultimate Warrior. I think it would also be okay to remove Terry Taylor from the workers list as I think at that point he was only backstage. I can't remember seeing him on TV at that time. The Four Horsemen were more heelish in my mind as well, but were cheered because of the formation of nWo. Having said that, I would make Woman a heel and her gimmick as a seductress. Finally why does Bunkhouse Buck have an Armed Forces gimmick?

Anyways, I am working on some more of ECWA, and hope to give you some stuff soon. I just wanted to post some stuff on here to keep the thread from falling.

  10. I found a couple sites while searching a bit ago, these are rosters of WWF and WCW in 1996 by month. http://www.solie.org/wcw96.txt and http://www.solie.org/wwf96.txt

I found it by looking at an old thread on here. I was wondering if anyone has a picture pack from the 1996 timeframe too? I don't want to use current pics, and I may start trying to assmble some, but not sure how far I'll get and not too likely on kyky.

If you are interested in adding more companies and information let me know. I am trying to find some info on WWC and IWA-PR right now. Or if you have any other feds I can start working on them. I am also looking into the reboot of AWA Superstar of Wrestling that began in 1996 but can't find much info on it right now.

  11. I have a couple quick Q's about your WWF roster. Was Christian there in 1996? I thought he didn't sign until '97? Also, did Mark Henry sign with WWF before or after the Olympics? Because I don't think he would have been on the roster yet either, at least not for a few months. Also I noticed Matt Bloom on there, and was just curious if Darren Drozdov or Andrew Martin were in development at that time. I admit I followed WCW more at the time, so I might be wrong on all accounts, but just throwing it out there.

  12. Kaos and Rage were a tag team I believe at this point, and both were faces. I think their name was high voltage. I also think Pittman was a heel and Prince Iaukea was a face. Arn was a heel as well (even though at the time nwo came about the heel were more tweeners).

The Women's title came about at the end of 1996, but if included, I would add Akira Hokuto in the game (she was the first champion).

This link may also help a bit too- http://www.ddtdigest.com/updates/1996065m.htm

  13. remove Caylee Turner from WWE.

add WWE Saturday Morning Slam on the CW (Graveyard Slot)

a new superstar added to the NXT roster. Does anyone know him?

    http://www.fcwwrestl...don-Traven.html

His stats were posted on the last page. He signed a few months back. He was trained at Harley Race's WLW wrestling and worked with Metro Pro Wrestling for a while too. The last couple of NXT tapings he has been used in squash matches for Brodus Clay. Which oddly enough he lost to Brodus on an episode of Superstars last year. I'm follow a lot of the WLW guys.

I do have a question I would like to ask, at what point should we stop adding shows for WWE? Maybe I'm alone in this, but when you play you can only have three shows a week, unless they are already on, which I think should be the limit. I bring this up because this new show is on, but will only feature one match I hear. Then ION TV will be getting a new show next month (or October I forgot). Then today I hear WWE is trying to get another show whoich would be a pre-show for their PPV's. If they get it, then WWE will have programming nearly every night and that might hurt other promotions in the game. I'm just throwing the idea out that we don't really need to add this new show for now. I say the cap should be 4 shows if they are already on the air, otherwise, just stick to the 3 shows that you are limited to in-game.
