Apparently Griffin's jaw was dislocated early in the fight, which explains why he went down so easily, appeared to not want much of Silva as the fight progressed, and left the octagon immediately after the fight. He also lost his hearing in the side of the dislocation.

Rewatching Griffin/Silva, it's like Silva is fighting in the Matrix or something. He just drops his hands and dodges everything Griffin throws his way for like 30 seconds. It's unreal.
-
Florian coming out to Ghostface Killah, a sure sign of victory.
-
Silva just straight up CLOWNED Griffin, and in the process, two weight divisions. Jesus, I can't decide whether that was more impressive for Silva, or embarrassing for Griffin.
EDIT: Text from a friend: "Forrest got Kimbo'ed"

They definitely need to do some kind of period piece like VC or SA. I'd be a big fan of mid-1980s Hong Kong (John Woo/Ringo Lam style), late 1960s swinging London, late 1980s bubble Tokyo, or mid/late 1980s Bogota (cartel stuff)

Mir came out for that second round, and hurt Brock. That's the first time Lesnar's really been hit with anything decent, and it visibly hurt him. He got Mir to the ground, but you can tell that the first bit of that is him trying to regain his composure.
I picked Mir to win, because I figured that would be his game plan from the outset... and had he done that from the beginning, maybe Brock wouldn't have hit those Headlock Punches on the ground in round 1, and maybe we would have seen a completely different fight.
Mir only got that flying knee in the second round because Brock let Mir stand up after he took him down. Mir could have come out however he want, and Brock's ability to take him down at will would have led to the exact same result: Mir heading to the hospital.
Also, I don't know how you saw Brock being hurt by Mir. He recoiled slightly, and then took Mir down and punched his face off.

so, how many fights will it be before we see Mir/Lesnar III? It's bound to happen with the way Dana is and the series at two fights a piece.
Mir's going to have to rack up a couple impressive wins to get back there. Given that it's now apparent that Mir won by fluke during the first fight, I'd say that Mir/Lesnar III is far from a sure thing. Brock handled him about as decisively as he could in this match.
Regarding the future, I wouldn't be surprised if Nog is in the near future for Brock, maybe after Brock fights the winner of Velasquez v. Carwin. This is, of course, assuming that Nog beats Couture.

You're talking about his Amateur Wrestling background right? Not his WWE background, right?
No, I'm talking about his WWE background. As a WWE fan, I love to see someone like Lesnar go into a legit sport and prove that not all pro wrestlers are jokes.
You're kidding right? Dude, WWE Wrestlers aswell as most of all Pro Wrestlers coouldn't stand a chance against most of all MMA fighters. I thought youw ere talking about his Amateur Wrestling background wich was shown by Lesnar on Mir tonight, he countered the takedown Mir tried to do and put him down while Lesnar stayed on top, that's Amateur Wrestling, not WWE-Style of Wrestling. Dude seriously, saying Lesnar's WWE/Pro Wrestling background makes him what he is today is a total joke, you sir, are indeed a dumbass.
... pfftahahahaha. Buh-bye, Powerhart.
Not Powerhart!

are in did a dumbass
Quoting this before the edit.
EDIT: Ha ha ha, too fast for you!

That's a blanket statement thrown over the vocal minority.
Fair enough, then I love to see the "vocal minority" throw a shit fit.
A-fucking-men.
EDIT: Also, how awesome were GSP's cornermen tonight? His primary trainer had the line of the night: "Hit him with your groin!"

Did anyone else catch Rogan calling Brock a heel?
Yep. Rogan's up on some WWE stuff; he's wise to Brock's game.
-
Brock Lesnar is 10000% rudo. Yeah, ten thousand. I love it.Brock is a fucking megaheel. He is the father, son, and holy ghost of heels. He even talks shit on the sponsor. Jesus he dominated Mir.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that BROCK IS THE FUTURE.
Just had a facebook argument with my mate, who's "in training" for his first fight. He thinks Brock's a "disgrace to the sport", and should be suspended. The amount Dana and Lesnar stand to make, simply off Brock being rudo as fuck, is fucking insane. People would put up fucking huge money to see him get the shit beaten out of him, more now than ever. It's the first time in forever that MMA has a true fucking heel, and I love it. Anyone with even a passing interest in MMA will tune in for a Brock fight, to see if someone can beat him, and the longer he goes without losing (again), the more he and UFC will make.
Your friend is a mark.
Lesnar is a license to print money for UFC. They're going to do the Honky Tonk Man title reign with him, and they're going to make millions.
-
According to my friend who's watching the UFC locker room feed, Mir was falling over and vomiting in the locker room, and is leaving in an ambulance.

Donations to Michael Bisping's wife and children can be sent care of UFC.
-
The name for this PPV should really be UFC 100: Mir and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Also:
-Lesnar by gutting Mir like a nine point buck
-GSP over Alves by awesome tattoo
-Henderson over Bisping by fakey English accent

He's molesting children up in heaven now.
Hopefully someone molests you for even bothering with that shit
Hilarious. Always nice to see someone who thinks being a dick all the time is 'cool'.
I am genuinely not saddened by the death of a pedophile.

It might be apples to oranges, but for people who have seen both, is this show better or worse than AMC's Breaking Bad? 'Cause BB is pretty much my new standard for television.

TOS...has not aged well. Start with TNG, and work your way backwards if you still feel the desire.
Voyager is okay-ish, and DS9 is either really awesome or really bad, depending on who you ask. It's a much darker and more militaristic take on the Trek universe.

HOW 'BOUT DEM COWBOYS!!!!
I hope Jones keeps Wade, Romo, T.O. and Williams longterm, 'cause next year will be their year for sure.
Just like 2007. I mean 2008. I mean E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!
Seriously, keep Romo around, I like watching him figure out new and creative ways to choke in meaningful games.
