Because nothing is more annoying than a linebacker or d-lineman running down a fast half back or wide receiver. This makes the fastest guy the fastest and the slowest guys the slowest. With it at default there is really no difference between a 99 rated speed and 96. They will run about the same. The closer you get to 100 threshold the closer the slowest guys run to the fastest. At 100 most guys whether speed is 70 or 99 will run almost the same. At 50 you won't notice a few points difference for a 90 to a 99. At 0 you will see a difference between a 95 and 99. It isn't as big a gap as NCAA was last year. (don't have NCAA this year) EDIT: 1ST POST UPDATED

You have been added. Not sure yet when we will begin this. Still waiting for a roster update we can use in online CCM which should be out this weekend. So Sunday I may send out the invites for the league. Right now the plan is to use default sliders except speed threshold at 0. All Pro difficulty and 10 minute quarters with accel clock to 20 seconds. Anyone have a problem with these?

The rosters will be out this week for CCM. The rosters that came out last week don't work in CCM. I am ready to get this thing started so this weekend I will work on getting this thing kicked off unless anyone has any objections.

Yeah I won't go any shorter than 8 minute quarters. I think 10 minute quarters will be good personally. We can wait until everyone is ready.

How long are your quarters? Eight minutes seems pretty good. Ok so is everyone cool with 8 minute quarters, All Pro, and default sliders except for CPU run blocking set to 55?

Friend requests sent out to those that weren't already on my friends list. Not starting this league just yet though. Was thinking of waiting until the 1st patch is out. Anyone have any suggestions for difficulty and sliders?

What is your PSN? I think we can do a waiver wire. Basically it rotates who gets 1st dibs week by week I think. I will double check that though. Or we can handle it by PM or something.

I've been hearing there are a lot of bugs with the new Madden 13. Have any of you who have it been coming across these? If so what are they and how bad or frequent are they?

We can handle it on a case by case basis. For instance if you play against me then we can just sim the game. I am not too worried about it. Againsts other people you guys will be expected to work it out. If both of you agree to sim then you can sim it though.

Yeah I am all for sim play. I don't want to restrict people going for it on 4th down or sneaking onside kicks or whatever though.

I had read in the other thread that EWB hasn't been able to keep a Madden league going (for PS3) because of lack of people. I will close accepting anyone from anywhere else. I was in a league in NCAA last year where it eventually had inactivity only 2 weeks in because a lot of the people just quit caring. I just want to have fun. I will close accepting new people from other places. What do we want for rules?

So it will be just for us except for people from Grey Dog Software? Yeah I have posted it on GDS and OS. I said on OS nevermind I won't be accepting any from there. I can close the GDS one if everyone is in favor of that. Just thought it would be fun to get more users in the league.

Hello Madden fans. Anyone interested in joining an Online Madden 13 CCM for PS3? Rules for the most part will be relaxed a little bit. If anyone is "cheating" or "cheesing" then I will warn that player once. If they do it again they will be out of the league. -Twice a week advancement. (Wednesday Night and Sunday Morning) -I will not restrict the team you play as. -No Larry Zbyszkos. -No dumb trades! (ex.No trading Tom Brady for a 7th round pick.) -May add restrictions later if people abuse the system. -Default sliders unless we have issues. -Speed threshold at 25 -All Pro Difficulty -10 Minute Quarters with 20 Second Accel Clock -No 4th down or special teams restrictions at this time. If I think of more I will post them up but as of now these would/will be my rules until further notice. So anyone interested?

I haven't seen anyone offer to Commish so I guess I will with the relaxed rules I began mentioned in this thread. UNLESS someone else will do it.
