I went two days ago with a bunch of friends. Four of us thought it was absolutely hysterical. The other two thought it was disgusting, and not funny at all... we killed them.

The Stand - Stephan King, its like 6 hours long.

So I just saw this movie, and I have to say, it was very well done. Very realistic. However, I think a much better ending to the movie would of been if we are just left with the shot of Vincent dead in the train. Black out. Two years later. Cut to Max sitting behind a desk. His dream has come true, he now runs "Island Limousines". A nice little scene between Max and his new fiancee Annie. Cut to Annie getting out of one of the Island Limousines at an airport and boarding a plane. The young driver checks out his bosses future wife, muttering to himself. He begins to roll up the window, when a hand appears. The person leans in, and it's Vincent. He smiles, and simply says "How'd you like to make $600?"

Black out. End.

It was already said in the scanning of the PSM article that Kane would be in current gear and old school gear.  :ohwell:

EDIT: I'm going to guess THQ played the game and took the screenshots since it's not avaiable right now, but...

I guess perhaps a storyline in season mode is... Kane returns under the mask? Hm... maybe that should actually happen.

I had Smackdown halfway complete, and lost it, cause i didn't save it, and the power went out. I've been rewriting it in short intervals. It should be up someday before... Thursday. With rehearsals for me in real life and what not, that's basicaly wut it's looking like.

For like the last 5 months or so, myself, and my friends have been addicted to playing the board game Clue. It started off friendly, but now its becoming like a weekly tradition. There's gambling starting to go on, and different version of Clue are starting to be played. The newest thrill is Clue FX, an electronic, talking version of the game. Anyway, tonight, I find out from my brother that his friends are starting to play Clue alot more often now also, and apparently the game is starting to become popular again. There's even t-shirts in Hot Topic such as "I Killed Mr. Body." So anyway, discuss... I suppose.

Breaking News! Possible Spoilers For This Thursday Night Smackdown

--Hey guys, don't scroll down if you don't want this Thursdays Smackdown possibly ruined for you.

Tim Grayson called in from the Smackdown! tapings earlier today. He got there earlier for the Stone Cold Steve Austin autograph session, apparently WWF is running an angle where Stone Cold was injured Monday Night, at the hands of WCW, as Stone Cold had a black eye, and his right arm in a sling.

We've also gotten word that Jim Cornette met with both newly signed WWF developmental deal, Jazz, and unsigned former ECW Star, Rob Van Dam, earlier today. Each day it seems WWF is closer to signing RVD. I've heard that Jazz isn't the only former ECW star Paul Heyman is pushing WWF to sign. Altho powerless backstage, Heyman does have a bit of stroke with the company, due to history, and his credentials. Apparently Heyman feels there are several unsigned talents, who havent been given the break, that deserve it.

A Night of Promises

--Vince McMahon has promised to stop WCW dead in it's tracks this Thursday night.

--William Regal has promised the fans a night of great WWF action, showcasing why the WWF is the superior brand.

--Chris Jericho will defend his intercontinental championship, against Chris Benoit.

Great show, but I might have saved the finish of the main event for the PPV, and just introduced a couple midcarders before then.

That was my plan. The "news" about Lex Luger not being able to strike a deal is kinda true. As I was going to debut him on Raw, but he went ahead and admitted he had a drug problem, and frankly... he's Luger. Maybe he'll return.

-- Former ECW Worker, Jazz has signed a WWF developmental deal. Apparently, she was brought in at the request of Paul Heyman.

-- Scott Steiner/Buff Bagwell are apparently going to work as a tag team for WCW. From what we've heard, Lex Luger was originally suppose to take the spot of Scott Steiner, forming Totally Buff for the Invasion, but he and management could not come to a deal.

-- Miss Hancock, real name Stacy Keibler, was at first against getting involved in a match for her debut. She is expected to eventually manage a WCW worker, with the leading suspect being Chris Kanyon.

-- Jeff Jarrett, altho in the ring has been expressive about not liking some of the descision made, is said to be ecstatic backstage, and is just having a good time with this storyline.

-- Rey Mysterio was asked upon signing his contract to return under the mask. Frankly, I agree with this descision, as I believe Mysterio has lacked since removing the mask.

-- Chris Kanyon was against being given the WCW United States Champion. The original plan was for Booker T to hand it over to him, but WWF creative decided to go ahead with Shane handing out the United States, and Cruiserweight title. It'll be interesting to see if those titles are ever defended.

-- Chyna is not happy backstage. Apparently she feels that the WCW Invasion is taking up to much time, and not allowing any of the women to compete.

-- Former ECW Worker Rob Van Dam met with management last night. We'll keep you posted if anything occurs between the two parties.

WWF Monday Night Raw – April 2nd 2001

The Raw opening plays over the screen, and at the conclusion we cut to the inside of the MCI Center in Washington D.C.. The pyro explodes from the rafters, hitting the stage, igniting the brilliant firework display. At the conclusion, the lights in the arena turn up, and we are given several shots of the hot, WWF crowd. The smoke filters throughout the arena, as we hear the voice Good O’le J.R., Jim Ross.

Jim Ross: “Hello everyone, and welcome to Monday Night Raw!”

We are treated to some more shots of the crowd.

Jim Ross: “I’m Jim Ross, and alongside me is Paul Heyman, what an unpredictable night we have in store for us here.”

Paul Heyman: “That’s right J.R.! Last week Shane McMahon shocked the world, announcing the purchasing of World Championship Wrestling.”

Jim Ross: “Then on Smackdown we saw the debut of the first two, “invading”, WCW Superstars, that being Jeff Jarrett, and the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T!”

Paul Heyman: “Man oh man J.R.. But let’s not forget about what happened last night!”

Jim Ross: “Last night, during Sunday Night Heat, it was Chris Kanyon, interfering at the end of the European Championship bout between D’Lo Brown, and champion, Eddie Guerrero. Kanyon attacking D’Lo, until Eddie came to his aid.”

Paul Heyman: “It’s WWF versus WCW J.R., and the battle lines have been drawn!”

The screen quickly flickers repeatedly, each time the sound of static is heard.

Jim Ross: “Also tonight it’s going to be Edge and Christian versus the APA for the WWF World Tag Team Championships.”

The screen flickers again. The lights in the arena change, and with another flicker, the “WWF” logo on the bottom left of the screen becomes the “WCW” Logo. Suddenly a loud air-raid siren is heard throughout the arena, and the titan tron displays a larger version of the “WCW” logo. The fans begin to boo at the sound of the music.

Jim Ross: “Wait a minute.”

Paul Heyman: “What is this?”

Jim Ross: “Hold on here.”

The air-raid siren develops a beat, and Shane McMahon appears on the stage. The crowd boos louder at the sight of Shane McMahon. Soon, Booker T appears behind Shane, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. Jeff Jarrett soon appears, and behind him, Chris Kanyon walks out. The three men, are decked out in black and red WCW logo t-shirts.

Jim Ross: “Shane McMahon, leading his WCW forces to the ring.”

Paul Heyman: “Are we just going to let him walk right out here?!”

Jim Ross: “Care to stop him?”

We suddenly cut backstage, where Vince McMahon is shown watching a monitor in one of the backstage hallways of the MCI Center. The camera pulls back quickly as The Undertaker, appears, behind him several WWF Superstars such as Al Snow, Steven Richards, Hardcore Holly, and the APA. The group is barging down the hallway, but McMahon suddenly stops them.

Vince McMahon: “Wait a minute!”

Undertaker stops, the group standing behind him.

The Undertaker: “Wait for what Vince?! You’re just going to let those punkass bitches take over your television show?!”

Vince McMahon: “Listen, I don’t want them out there just as much as you don’t. But I also want to avoid any confrontation between us, and them. I’ll go out there, you guys stay here. If I need backup, I’ll give the word…”

Vince McMahon walks off screen, and we cut back to the ring, where the team of WCW now stands. Shane McMahon holds a microphone, and is smiling, as his three member army stands behind him. The air-raid siren fades, and all that is heard is the heat from the crowd.

Shane McMahon: “Hello Washington!”

The crowd still boos.

Shane McMahon: “How fitting it is, that right here… in our nations capital, Vince McMahon, and the WWF will suffer it’s worst night tragedy, at the hand of WCW. Tonight… the WWF will-“

Shane McMahon stops, glancing towards the entry way. The camera cuts, and we see Vince McMahon walking out, without music, standing on the stage. The crowd cheers at the sight of the WWF Chairman.

Jim Ross: “It’s Vince!”

Paul Heyman: “Well, things are about to pick up J.R.”

Shane McMahon smiles at the sight of his father. The three WCW Superstars smile to, motioning for Vince to join them in the ring.

Shane McMahon: “Vince… how nice of you to join us out here. No, no, really, I’m glad you’re out here. You see, I could of just ya know, kept my mouth shut about our plans for tonight, and just, gone ahead and done them, like usual. But no, tonight’s different. You see, I’m out here on business.”

We cut back to Vince who is being handed a microphone from a stagehand. He raises it.

Vince McMahon: “Business…”

Shane McMahon: “Yes business. You see, I believe you know the WCW Champion, Booker T?”

Jim Ross: “Booker T, attacking Vince McMahon at the start of Smackdown last Thursday.”

Vince McMahon: “I do.”

Shane McMahon: “Well, as you know. You can’t build a company, on the back of one man...”

Vince McMahon: “I do.”

Paul Heyman: “I gotta agree with him… brother.”

Shane McMahon: “Well, that’s the reason why I’m out here. You see right now, I’d like to crown two other, WCW Championship holders…Now Lilian…”

Shane McMahon turns around, and walks towards the commentator tables. He is looking at Lilian Garcia.

Shane McMahon: “If you could be a dear… reach behind the time keepers table, and give me the black duffle bag honey.”

We cut ringside where Lilian Garcia is shown, looking confused. She stands slowly, and looks behind the nearby time keepers table. She reaches back there, and pulls up a black duffle bag.

Jim Ross: “What is this?”

Lilian holds the bag, and carries towards Shane in the ring. She hand it to him through the ropes.

Shane McMahon: “Thanks sweetie.”

Shane walks center ring, with the bag in his hand. He places the bag down in front of him, and looks into the crowd.

Shane McMahon: “It is my honor… to present to all of you… the NEW WCW United States Champion…”

With that Shane bends down, unzipping the bag. He reaches in, and removes the WCW United States Championship belt. He holds it high.

Shane McMahon: “A man who’s athletic, talented, entertaining, and one of the best forms of a true competitor, this industry has to offer!”

The camera cuts to Jeff Jarrett who is looking cocky. He’s fixing his hair, smiling, nodding, pretty much accepting the fact that he’s about to be crown U.S. Champion.

Shane McMahon: “He’s also the newest member of Team WCW, Chris Kanyon!”

Jeff Jarrett suddenly jumps, looking shocked, shaking his head no. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as a surprised, but ecstatic Chris Kanyon steps forward, taking the title from Shane McMahon.

Paul Heyman: “Hey look at that J.R.! Dreams do come true!”

Jim Ross: “Shane McMahon, awarding the vacant WCW United States championship to Chris Kanyon.”

Jeff Jarrett suddenly barges forward, grabbing the microphone from Shane.

Jeff Jarrett: “Woah! Woah! Woah! Woah! WHAT?! HIM?! You’re awarding a title… to HIM?! You listen to me right now Shane… You said you were crowning two WCW Championship holders right now… there better be the defunct Television title…or Hardcore title… or… God, anything in that bag! And it better be for me!”

Shane McMahon takes the microphone back.

Shane McMahon: “Jeff… step back… We’ll discuss this later…”

Jeff Jarrett breathes heavy, his jaw quivering a bit. He then slowly nods, and turns around, walking towards the corner of the ring. He leans into it. Quick shot of Vince McMahon watching on, still from the stage.

Jim Ross: “A bit of hostility from Jeff Jarrett there.”

Paul Heyman: “I don’t think Jarrett likes Kanyon very much.”

Shane McMahon: “Now, there’s one more person who I’d like to crown as a WCW Championship holder. This young man is what the new WCW is all about. He’s an extremely talented athlete, and exemplifies what a WCW Superstar is…”

Jim Ross: “Well we know it’s not going to be Jarrett. Who is it?”

Paul Heyman: “I’m on the edge of my seat J.R.!”

Shane McMahon: “Ladies and gentlemen… I give to you. The NEW WCW Cruiserweight Champion…”

Shane reaches down into the duffle bag, and removes the WCW Cruiserweight championship. He holds it high above his head.

Shane McMahon: “Rey! Mysterio! Junior!”

“WHO’S THAT JUMPING OUT THE SKY?!” Rey Mysterio’s theme music hits, and the crowd erupts in cheer. The camera cuts to the entry way, where we see Vince McMahon has stepped back, awaiting the arrival of Rey Mysterio. Cut to ringside, where we see Rey Mysterio, wearing his mask, jumping the barrier.

Jim Ross: “There he is!”

Paul Heyman: “Rey Mysterio, the New Cruiserweight champion. Should we stand up J.R.?”

Jim Ross: “Would you stop?”

Rey Mysterio slides into the ring, and is greeted with a hug from Shane McMahon. Shane hands the championship belt to Rey Mysterio, who takes it, and raises it above his hand. Chris Kanyon, U.S. Title around his waist, quickly hugs Rey Mysterio. Booker T slaps the back of Mysterio, welcoming him to the group. Jeff Jarrett slowly leaves the corner, and welcomes the newcomer as well.

Vince McMahon: “ENOUGH!”

Rey Mysterio’s theme music cuts off.

Vince McMahon: “Okay Shane… Now… I’ve got a group of WWF Superstars less then 6 feet behind me, waiting for me to give the word. They want you, and your group out of that ring… You’ve done what you came here to do. I’ve given you your 5 minutes of spotlight… Now get out of MY ring.”

Shane McMahon: “Vince, I’m not through here tonight. I’m not through here tonight, not yet by a long shot. You see, Thursday Night on Smackdown, we were supposed to have a match… Booker T versus Stone Cold Steve Austin…”

The crowd gives a huge reaction, mixed, to the sound of Stone Cold’s name.

Shane McMahon: “It was suppose to be Champion versus Champion, for the first time ever. But what happened? Your boy decided to back up and leave town. Well Vince, tonight, I say we give these fans what they want! If… you feel lucky enough to square your champion up, against mine.”

The fans are going ecstatic.

Jim Ross: “Booker T versus Stone Cold, tonight?!”

Vince McMahon slowly raises the microphone.

Vince McMahon: “Booker T versus Stone Cold…”

Crowd erupts again.

Vince McMahon: “Well Shane, I’m sorry. But Stone Cold… he… he didn’t show up here tonight.”

The crowd boos immensely.

Jim Ross: “What?!”

Paul Heyman: “I didn’t think I saw him backstage.”

Jim Ross: “How could Austin not be here?!”

Shane McMahon, Booker T, Jeff Jarrett, and Chris Kanyon break out in laughing. A quick shot of the ring shows Kanyon nudge Rey Mysterio, who suddenly joins in.

Shane McMahon: “So Vince… are you telling me that the man, who holds your World Heavyweight Championship, didn’t even show up here tonight?!”

Vince looks hurt, and embarrassed.

Vince McMahon: “That’s what I’m saying.”

Crowd boos.

Vince McMahon: “But you know what Shane? You want a match tonight?! Fine. You got it. Tonight, it’s going to be… WWF versus WCW!!”

Crowd cheers.

Jim Ross: “What?!”

Vince McMahon: “It’s going to be, promotion against promotion!!”

Crowd cheers again.

Paul Heyman: “No way!”

Vince McMahon: “Tonight’s main event, will feature, two WWF Superstars, against two WCW Superstars… Tonight… it’s going to be Triple H!…”

Crowd erupts into a mixed reaction.

Vince McMahon: “Teaming up with… The Rock!!”

Crowd erupts in cheers.

Jim Ross: “Triple H and The Rock, representing the WWF tonight!”

Paul Heyman: “Can The Rock and Triple H get along?!”

Shane McMahon slowly begins to pace in the ring. He nods suddenly, and turns back to Vince on stage.

Shane McMahon: “Deal! Tonight it’s going to be The Rock and Triple H versus… two WCW Superstars…”

Jim Ross: “But which two?!”

Paul Heyman: “C’mon.”

Vince McMahon: “Pick your men!”

Shane smiles devilishly.

Shane McMahon: “Oh no Vince. The Rock and Triple H will just have to wait till tonight to find out… But remember this Vince I-“

“LATINO HEAT!!!” Eddie Guerrero’s theme music blasts, and the fans erupt in cheers. Shane McMahon steps back, surprised, we cut to the stage, where Vince McMahon also looks confused. Eddie Guerrero comes strutting out onto the stage, moving to his music, European championship around his waist.

Jim Ross: “Eddie Guerrero?!”

Paul Heyman: “What the hell is he doing out here?!”

Eddie Guerrero removes a microphone where he had been using the European championship to hold. He stands on the stage next to Vince McMahon, who continues looking confused.

Eddie Guerrero: “Hola le Homes. Now Mr. Vince McMahon, I’m sorry sir for coming out here essa and interrupting this beautiful moment between Padre e hijo. But homes… I think you know why I’m out here.”

Cut to the ring where Team WCW looks on. Vince looks on, intrigued.

Paul Heyman: “I don’t. Fill me in, you know J.R.?”

Eddie Guerrero: “You see, I’m a big believer on sportsmanship, and ethics… Granted, I’ve been known to low blow some of my opponents, but it’s only cheating if you get caught. Now Vince, I don’t think you know, what you’ve just done. By booking the match, that you just did… You opened up the flood gates.”

A shot of Shane McMahon in the ring, followed by Vince on the stage.

Eddie Guerrero: “If The Rock and Triple H get to kick some WCW ass tonight… Then you know Eddie Guerrero wants some. Hola le!!”

The crowd erupts.

Eddie Guerrero: “So homes, I’m asking tonight… You make a match… Eddie Guerrero versus Chris Kanyon…”

The crowd cheers.

Jim Ross: “Eddie seeking revenge for last night?!”

Vince McMahon squints his eyes a bit, and then slowly nods. We cut to the ring, where Chris Kanyon has stepped forward, and is consulting with Shane, both look a bit taken back. Shane suddenly turns out to the stage.

Shane McMahon: “We accept! Vince, what’d you say?!”

Vince licks his lips, still looking over Eddie Guerrero who stands on the stage, smiling, Guerrero shimmies a bit, trying to seek McMahon’s approval. Vince slowly raises the microphone.

Vince McMahon: “Eddie Guerrero versus Chris Kanyon…”

Paul Heyman: “Is it going to happen?”

Vince McMahon: “YOUR ON!”

The crowd erupts once again in cheers. Eddie explodes ecstatically, wiggling his hips, and calling out to the fans. Eddie Guerrero’s theme music hits. Cut to the ring, where Chris Kanyon stands in front of Shane McMahon, gritting his teeth, watching Eddie.

Jim Ross: “Eddie Guerrero versus Chris Kanyon, tonight!”

Paul Heyman: “Like Eddie Guerrero said, the flood gates have been opened!”

We fade to a commercial.

We come back from commercial, and are greeted with the theme music of the APA. The crowd cheers as Faarooq and Bradshaw walk out from behind the curtain. Faarooq cracks his neck, as Bradshaw throws up the “Number 1” gesture. The pair walk down the ramp, and enter the ring.

Jim Ross: “Folks if you’re just joining us, already tonight, two blockbuster matches have been announced. First, it’s going to be the WWF’s Eddie Guerrero taking on WCW’s Chris Kanyon, one on one!”

Paul Heyman: “I can’t wait for that J.R.!”

Jim Ross: “That’s not all tho. In tonight’s main event, it’s going to be Triple H and The Rock taking on two, yet to be named, WCW superstars. It’s going to be interesting to see who Shane McMahon picks out of his group of WCW workers.”

Paul Heyman: “Who’s it going to be J.R.?! Booker T? Jeff Jarrett? Chris Kanyon? Any one of those combinations are threatening!”

Edge and Christian’s theme music blasts throughout the arena. The fans boo as the cocky arrogant pairing of Edge and Christian emerge from behind the curtain, the Tag Team Titles around their waists.

Paul Heyman: “This match is for the Tag Team titles, isn’t it J.R.?”

Jim Ross: “Yes it is. The APA looking to capture WWF Tag Team gold again.”

Edge and Christian enter the ring, posing for the crowd, before handing their tag team belts over to the referee. The ref raises the two belts high above his head, and then hands them off to the timekeeper.

Match Ending: The ending of the match saw all four men in the ring brawling, Christian/Bradshaw, and Faarooq/Edge. Bradshaw soon clotheslined Christian over the top rope, just as Edge managed to hit The Edge-a-cator on Faarooq, following with a cover attempt. Bradshaw ran over to break up the hold, but Christian reached in under the bottom rope, grabbing Bradshaw’s legs, and dragging him out. The referee distracted by this quickly turned back to the Edge/Faarooq cover, sliding in to make the count. As the ref began, Edge soon threw his feet onto the middle rope, adding leverage for the pin. One, two, three, Edge and Christian steal the victory.

Jim Ross: “Edge and Christian stealing the victory!”

Paul Heyman: “HOW?!”

Jim Ross: “ “HOW?!” Don’t try and tell me you didn’t see Edge’s feet on the ropes!”

Paul Heyman: “Nope sorry.”

We cut backstage where we find WWF Hardcore Champion Dean Malenko standing in the hallway. The camera pans down the hallway, to reveal Vince McMahon walking up to him. The camera pans back as Vince confronts Malenko.

Vince McMahon: “Last night, you barged into my office, nearly destroying it, just so you could defend that championship belt of yours. You disobeyed my orders of taking it outside, and continued to disrupt a very important meeting between myself, Jim Ross, and my former Lawyer. That’s right. I said former. Why?! Because after you barged in, he told me he didn’t want to do business with a man who runs such a disgruntled company… Because of you, I lost one of the most powerful, intelligent, talented lawyers in the country, and during these times, I think it’s obvious that I need all the law-power I can get!”

Dean Malenko who’s been looking rather unimpressed by this whole situation, lick his lips, and peers into McMahon’s eyes.

Dean Malenko: “And you’d like me to do what? Say I’m sorry?”

Vince McMahon: “No, Dean, no. That’d be to easy. What I want you to do is make your way to the ring. Because you’re about to have a match… for your WWF Hardcore Championship.”

Dean Malenko blinks suddenly, stepping back a bit.

Vince McMahon: “It’s going to be you versus the Seven Foot Two, Five Hundred Pound, BIG SHOW!”

The crowd is heard in the arena giving their reactions to the match. Dean Malenko eyes open wide, looking shocked. McMahon walks off screen.

Jim Ross: “Dean Malenko versus Big Show! Next!”

We fade to a commercial.

We come back from commercial to find Dean Malenko already in the ring, his theme music blasting.

Jim Ross: “Folks, Dean Malenko about to go up against The Big Show, for the WWF Hardcore Championship. A sort of punishment for Dean Malenko, thanks to the disruption which happened last night during Sunday Night, disrupting a meeting between McMahon and his lawyer.”

Paul Heyman: “I think Dean Malenko deserves everything he gets!”

The Big Show’s theme music hits, and the crowd boos. The pyro explodes from the stage, and The Big Show emerges from behind the curtain. Big Show walks down the ramp, as the crowd continues giving heat.

As Big Show reaches the end of the ramp, the camera quickly pulls back to find Dean Malenko jumping over the top rope at Big Show. Big Show, quickly catches Dean Malenko, as his theme music cuts off. Big Show carries Dean Malenko, who tries to fight the giant off. Big Show laughs as he walks towards the ring, turns, and runs toward the corner post. Big Show slams Dean Malenko into the steel ring post, and drops him on the ground. The fans react in gasps, as Dean Malenko falls to the ground, holding his back and rolling around the ground.

Jim Ross: “My God! Dean Malenko might be broken in half!”

Big Show lifts Dean Malenko up, and rolls him into the ring. Big Show follows, rolling in after his opponent. Big Show stands up, as Dean Malenko continues holding his back. Big Show lifts Dean Malenko ups, and quickly wraps his hand around his throat. Big Show lifts Malenko up into the air, and connects with the chokeslam on the WWF Hardcore Champion. Big Show promptly covers Dean Malenko. One, two, three.

Big Show’s theme music hits. As he stands above the fallen Dean Malenko, breathing heavy, looking furious. The ref hands Big Show the WWF Hardcore Championship, and then raises his arm. Big Show pulls away from the ref, raising the belt above his head.

Jim Ross: “Big Show defeating Dean Malenko, who may have a broken back!”

Suddenly, Jeff Jarrett is in the ring! Jarrett attacks The Big Show from behind, taking out the left knee of the giant. The Big Show falls to one knee. We cut ringside, where Booker T is shown climbing the barrier.

Jim Ross: “Wait a minute! Booker T! Jeff Jarrett attacking Big Show!”

Booker T is shown throwing the time keeper from his chair, and folding it up. Booker T enters the ring, with a steel chair, as Jeff Jarrett continues battling Big Show. Big Show raises up, grabbing Jeff Jarrett by the throat, as the crowd quickly cheers. But Booker T reacts, smashing the steel chair over the back of The Big Show.

Paul Heyman: “Ouch.”

Jim Ross: “Booker T and Jeff Jarrett double-teaming Big Show!”

Big Show loosens his grip on Jeff Jarrett, and turns towards Booker T. Booker T shouts something, before lifting, and quickly smashing the chair over the cranium of the Big Show. Big Show stands, stunned for a bit, before falling to both of his knees. Booker T turns the chair around, and smashes it over the head of The Big Show again. This time Big Show falls to the mat.

Jim Ross: “Good God! Booker T smashing that chair over the skull of Big Show, not once but twice!”

Paul Heyman: “I can’t believe Big Show is down!”

Dean Malenko slowly pulls himself up, and leans against the ropes. Booker T and Jeff Jarrett turn their attention towards Dean Malenko.

Jim Ross: “Dean get out of there!”

Paul Heyman: “Who knows how bad his back already is injured, don’t risk any more injury!”

Malenko pulls himself off the ropes, walking slowly towards the fallen Big Show. Booker T, Jeff Jarrett watch on. Dean Malenko suddenly drops, covering The Big Show.

Jim Ross: “Wait a minute…”

The referee confused a bit, drops, and counts, one, two three. Dean Malenko wins back the WWF Hardcore Championship!

Jim Ross: “Dean Malenko winning back the Hardcore Championship!”

Paul Heyman: “Good! Now Dean, get out of there!”

Dean Malenko is handed the WWF Hardcore Championship, and slowly stands, gazing as Booker T and Jeff Jarrett. Suddenly, all three men, and walk towards each other. The fans erupt in a chorus of boos as the three men hug in the center of the ring.

Jim Ross: “WHAT THE HELL?!”

Paul Heyman: “Wait a minute!”

Shane McMahon is shown climbing over the ringside barrier, and he quickly runs towards the ring and climbs in. Dean Malenko turns, upon seeing Shane McMahon entering, and smiles. Shane meets Dean halfway, as the two promptly shake hands, and then hug. The fans continue booing.

Jim Ross: “Does this mean what I think it does?! Dean Malenko defecting to WCW?!”

Paul Heyman: “He’s the WWF Hardcore Champion tho!”

Shane McMahon raises Dean Malenko’s arm high, as we fade to a commercial.

We come back from commercial with the screen filled with a paused image of the end of the WWF Hardcore Championship match.

Jim Ross: “Ladies and gentlemen before we went to break it was Big Show versus Dean Malenko for the Hardcore Championship…”

The video begins to play, showing clips of Big Show ramming Dean Malenko into the steel ringpost, followed by the chokeslam.

Jim Ross: “Big Show scored the pinfall victory following a chokeslam. But then Booker T and Jeff Jarrett, two WCW Superstars showed up, and beat down The Big Show…”

Jim Ross: “What would happen next… was… it was just shocking, and I don’t understand it…”

Dean Malenko is shown pinning The Big Show, and embracing in a hug with Jarrett/Booker T.

Jim Ross: “It appears Dean Malenko has defected to WCW… and I just, I just don’t know how that’s possible. Or what Dean Malenko is thinking. It’s one thing for the WWF to lose a worker… but this time the WWF has lost a worker who was a current champion, the WWF Hardcore Champion… which is now in the hands of WCW.”

The video clip stops playing. “LATINO HEAT!!!” Eddie Guerrero’s theme music hits and the fans erupt in cheers. Eddie comes strutting out to his theme music, the European Title around his waist. Eddie calls out to the fans, as he walks, dancing a bit, down the ramp. Guerrero enters the ring.

Jim Ross: “This match being made earlier by Vince McMahon. Eddie Guerrero challenging Chris Kanyon. It’s the WWF versus WCW.”

Paul Heyman: “Well, it was really a compilation between Shane and Vince who made this match.”

Eddie stands in the ring, taunting the fans, and soaking in the spotlight. Suddenly the familiar air-raid siren blasts over the p.a. system. A few seconds into it, a voice is heard over the p.a. system, “Who Better Than Kanyon?!”. The crowd boos as Chris Kanyon’s theme music hits. Chris Kanyon soon emerges from behind the curtain, and stands on the stage, the WCW U.S. title over his shoulder. The crowd continues booing as Kanyon tries to get them on his side.

Jim Ross: “Chris Kanyon not getting a warm welcome from this fans.”

Paul Heyman: “Which I think is an outrage J.R.! This man is the WCW United States Champion, that’s quite an honor! That proves he’s an extremely talented competitor, and an ex-“

Jim Ross: “He was given the title by Shane McMahon, at the start of this very show!”

Paul Heyman: “So… That just proves what I’m saying. Shane McMahon has so much faith in Chris Kanyon, so it must be for something!”

Chris Kanyon slides into the ring, and stands on the opposite side of Eddie Guerrero. We get a shot of Eddie Guerrero talking trash from across the ring. We cut ringside, where Shane McMahon is shown standing in the aisle way, next to the commentator booth.

Jim Ross: “Shane McMahon watching this match from the stands… for now.”

Paul Heyman: “What does that mean? Are you implying that Shane McMahon is looking to get involved here tonight?!”

Jim Ross: “It wouldn’t’ shock me! You saw what he did at the conclusion of Smackdown last week, and because of that all hell broke loose.”

Paul Heyman: “Men shouldn’t be charged from what they did in the past!”

Jim Ross: “Poetic.”

Eddie Guerrero (WWF European Champion) vs. Chris Kanyon (WCW United States Champion)

Match Ending: The ending of the match saw a long series of chain wrestling between the two competitors. Eddie Guerrero managed to hit several of his key moves such as the European Uppercut, Tornado DDT, and even a superplex. Chris Kanyon showed why he was brought in from WCW, going toe to toe with the Guerrero, and matching each of the European champions amazing show of athleticism. In the end of the match, Eddie Guerrero managed to hit the Brainbuster on Chris Kanyon. The crowd was on their feet as Eddie Guerrero slowly climbed the turnbuckle and stood on the top rope. Suddenly Shane McMahon was on the ring apron, having quickly jumped the barrier. Eddie Guerrero seeing this, quickly jumped down from the top rope, and ran at Shane, who quickly dropped down avoiding the attack. Suddenly from the entrance ramp, a blond bombshell was on the ring apron, it’s Miss Hancock!. Eddie Guerrero was taken aback by the presence of the attractive young woman in front of him. Eddie soon went into “Latino Heat” mode, and began taunting the Hancock from the center of the ring. This soon allowed the distraction, as Chris Kanyon came up from behind, and rolled up the European champion. We get a shot of Chris Kanyon holding the tights, before the ref counts, one, two, three!

Winner: Chris Kanyon

Jim Ross: "Miss Hancock!"

Paul Heyman: "She is hot!"

Jim Ross: "Miss Hancock providing the distraction for Chris Kanyon to pick up the victory, and just like I suspected, Shane McMahon couldn't help but get involved!"

Paul Heyman: "Hey! Shane did nothing wrong. He never laid a finger on Eddie Guerrero. For anything, Eddie should be charged with attempted assault."

Jim Ross: "Attempted ass- Are you out of your mind?!"

Miss Hancock and Shane McMahon enter the ring, as Chris Kanyon quickly rolls Eddie Guerrero out of the ring. Miss Hancock jumps into the arms of Shane McMahon, and the trio celebrate. However, Eddie Guerrero soon raises to his feet, and slides into the ring seeking revenge. McMahon, Kanyon, and Hancock soon run from the ring, and into the stands, as Guerrero yells from the ring.

Jim Ross: "Chris Kanyon, and Shane McMahon escaping a beating!"

Paul Heyman: "I wouldn't put it past that man to attack Miss Hancock! That poor woman!"

We fade to commercial.

We come back from commercial to find Vince McMahon standing with Triple H backstage.

Vince McMahon: “Listen to me… I need you to put all of your feelings for The Rock aside. I don’t care how you feel about him, right now, I don’t care about the past. Tonight, you two must fight as a well organized team!”

Triple H slowly looks up and into Vince’s eyes.

Triple H: “I’m not the one you have to worry about Vince. You think I don’t see what kind of threat WCW is posing for us? I know myself and The Rock have to get along tonight, I know I have to put all past animosities aside. If you’re going to give this speech to anyone, go talk to Mr. Hollywood Actor.”

We hear the sound of the door opening, and hitting the wall. Vince and Triple H look off screen, and the camera quickly pans back. The Rock comes into the picture, staring in the face of Triple H. McMahon stands behind the two, looking a bit afraid.

Vince McMahon: “Rock… I was just telling Hunter… Tonight, I need your word that you and him can get-“

The Rock throws up his hand, cutting off Vince McMahon. This get a mild pop from the crowd. The Rock looks over Triple H, and without taking his eyes off of him begins to speak.

The Rock: “Vince McMahon… The Rock knows about the importance of tonight’s match. The Rock understands that tonight, he has to get along with Triple H, and put everything behind one another. But The Rock just wants to make this known… After we kick WCW’s ass here tonight, The Rock will be coming… coming straight, for you Triple H…”

Triple H scrunches his face in anger, and peers into The Rock’s eyes. McMahon continues looking on from behind the two WWF superstars. The Rock soon turns, and walks off screen. We focus on Triple H and Vince McMahon.

Triple H: “And you say I’m the one that can’t be trusted…”

We cut ringside. Paul Heyman sits hunched over the table, staring at the monitor. Jim Ross is looking directly into the lens.

Jim Ross: “Ladies and gentlemen, in just a few moments it’s going to be an epic contest. It’s going to be the WWF versus WCW, as Triple H and The Rock will team up to take on two WCW superstars, of Shane McMahon’s choosing.”

Paul Heyman: “J.R., you saw what everyone else just saw. I honestly don’t think The Rock and Triple H can coexist here tonight.”

Jim Ross: “Well quite frankly, I know Triple H and The Rock, and both of those men are professionals. They know that tonight, they have to do what’s right, and that means fighting the battle for WWF.”

“Time To Play The Game!” Triple H’s theme music hits, and the fans begin to boo. The lights in the arena change, and Triple H comes and stands in the entry way, water bottle in hand.

Jim Ross: “Here comes the cerebral assassin, Triple H.”

Triple H walks down the ramp slowly, and around the ring. He climbs onto the apron and walks along it. HHH stops and turns towards the crowd. The screen becomes blinded with flashes as Triple H sprays mist from his mouth into the air, and poses for the crowd.

Paul Heyman: “Awesome. Simply awesome.”

Triple H enters the ring. “If Ya Smell!!!!” The Rock’s theme music hits and the fans erupt. The Rock comes strutting out from backstage, and immediately down the ramp. The fans snap pictures as The Rock jumps onto the ring apron, and climbs the turnbuckle, throwing his fist into the air. We see a shot of The Rock gazing at Triple H in the ring who stands, watching The Rock.

Paul Heyman: “I’m telling you J.R., I don’t think these two can get along!.”

Jim Ross: “They have to… They must.”

The Rock enters the ring, and slowly walks to the side of Triple H. He turns, and faces the entry way.

“Can You Dig It? Sucka!” Booker T’s theme music hits, and he comes walking out onto the stage, the WCW Heavyweight Title around his waist. Booker T smirks as the crowd continues booing. Booker T walks mid-ramp, and pauses, staring at Triple H/The Rock in the ring.

Paul Heyman: “WCW Champ baby!”

Jim Ross: “The WCW Champion, Booker T. We know one of their opponents, now, who’s his partner?!”

Booker T’s theme music cuts off, and all that is heard is the crowd. Booker T continues standing still, peering at The Rock/Triple H.

Paul Heyman: “Who is it?!”

The air-raid siren hits, and plays as the “WCW” logo displays over the titan tron. Upon hearing it, Booker T smiles. Suddenly “SELF HIGH FIVE!” The air-raid siren becomes the theme of Diamond Dallas Page! DDP comes walking out from the curtain area, decked out in the black/red WCW t-shirt, and a pair of black sunglasses.

Jim Ross: “DDP! Diamond Dallas Page!”

Paul Heyman: “A former WCW Heavyweight champion J.R.! What a pairing!”

Jim Ross: “Diamond Dallas Page, the newest member of Shane McMahon’s entourage!”

DDP walks down to Booker T on the ramp, the two men look at each other, and suddenly storm the ring. Both men slide in, as the brawl starts.

Triple H/The Rock (WWF) vs. Booker T/Diamond Dallas Page (WCW)

Match Ending: An all out brawl. Booker T and The Rock focused on each other, as DDP/HHH battled it out. Triple H/Dallas Page brought things outside periodically, slamming each other into the ringsteps and ringposts. In the ring, Booker T, and The Rock exchanged punches. One after another The Rock connected with, backing Booker T up against the ropes. Rock suddenly spit into his right hand, and connected with one more punch, sending Booker T over the top rope onto the arena floor. The Rock soon followed after Booker T, battling him in front of the commentators booth. Diamond Dallas Page was shown slamming Triple H’s head against the ring barrier, before quickly running around the ring, and attacking The Rock from behind. DDP fought with Rock for a while, until Booker T got back up, and continued the assault. Triple H soon returned, rolling DDP back into the ring. Low-Blow on Triple H from DDP, as the ref was distracted by Booker T/The Rock sent Triple H into the perfect position for the Diamond Cutter, which DDP quickly hit. DDP went for the cover. One, two, but The Rock soon pulled the ref out of the ring, stopping the count. Booker t promptly attacked The Rock from behind, as the ref lay on the floor between the two. Soon DDP and Triple H got involved, battling with Booker T/The Rock. All four men eventually brought it back into the ring, but all hell was breaking loose. Soon Shane McMahon showed up ringside, trying to revive the fallen referee. The Rock upon seeing this, rolled out of the ring, and chased McMahon for a bit, until DDP came to Shane’s rescue, clotheslining, The Rock to the arena floor. Dean Malenko was soon shown hopping the barrier, and attacking Triple H. As Malenko/Booker T beat on Triple H, The Rock was shown getting stomped on by Booker T, as Shane McMahon called the orders. Suddenly the fans erupted as The Undertaker, and Kane came storming down the entranceway. This time, Booker T was unable to escape, as Undertaker began exchanging punches with the WCW champion. Kane went after Dean Malenko, who ran for a bit, before getting cornered between Triple H and Kane. Triple H attacked Dean Malenko from behind, as Diamond Dallas Page attacked Kane from behind. However, Kane soon turned things around, slamming DDP against the ring barrier. We cut to The Rock, who was shown beating on Booker T. Cut to Triple H who was successfully laying a beating to Dean Malenko. Ringside shot of The Undertaker slowly stalking Shane McMahon. Suddenly, it was The Undertaker and Kane being attacked from behind on both sides of the ringside floor. Scott Steiner appeared behind The Undertaker, slamming both fists into the back of the dead man, as Buff Bagwell came in, taking out the knee of Kane The crowd was near riot, as WCW slowly took over control again. The Rock was soon double teamed by Malenko/Booker T, Kane was taken down by DDP/Bagwell, and Undertaker had his hands full with Shane McMahon/Scott Steiner. Suddenly GLASS SHATTERS! Stone Cold’s theme music hit, and the fans erupted! Stone Cold came charging out from backstage, and slid into the ring. He stood, and was immediately charged at by Buff Bagwell. Austin ducked the attack, turned, and connected with a stunner. Malenko soon charged Austin, only to suffer the same fate of the stunner. DDP was next, suffering a stunner. However, Booker T soon took control, getting a steel chair involved. Booker T slammed the chair over the back of Stone Cold, sending him to the mat. Kane soon entered the ring to aid Austin, only to get a chair shot of his own, followed by getting double stomped by a hurt Malenko and DDP. Undertaker soon slid into the ring, and went to charge at Booker T, but at ringside, Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell held onto the deadman’s feet, keeping him from being able to run. Undertaker turned his attention to Bagwell/Steiner, allowing Booker T to quickly come from behind and hit Undertaker with the chair repeatedly. Taker soon fell to the mat. We cut ringside where The Rock is shown laid out in front of the entrance way. Cut to Triple H who is shown laid out by the commentator table. Shot of Austin laid out, with Kane/Undertaker in the background, both on the mat. WCW soon joined forces in the ring, standing in a straight line. Soon, Chris Kanyon, Rey Mysterio, Miss Hancock, and Jeff Jarrett were climbing over the ring barrier, and entering the ring. The show closed with WCW holding hands over the fallen WWF superstars.

Jim Ross: “Stone Cold! Taken out! The WWF champion taken out! The Rock beaten! Triple H assaulted! Kane and The Undertaker put to pieces! WCW! WCW taking control! We need help out here! We need help!”

We fade to the WWF logo, and then to a black screen as the show ends.

Its good but there Research wasn't there, Foley wasn't Commish, Regal was, you suddenly have WCW brought out two weeks after Mania instead of one week before (shown by Austin mentioning Cage match with Rock) which is ok but then rock (who was suspened) is just suddenly on the show

Also, i'm not 100% sure gut i believe Heyman was the smackdown colur commentator, not Tazz

Tazz was the Smackdown Color Commentator, that the whole Heyman shoot promo on Vince McMahon during the real Invasion, where Tazz attacked Heyman from Ringside... then joined The Alliance... hmm :add's to list of things to fix:

I admit, I dropped the ball when it came to the research of things. It hasn't been anything really major. Luckily I caught myself while typing up Raw, I almost made a huge mistake in the fact that Jerry Lawler was fired from the WWF. I never looked at my television/staff screen, so I always assumed he was still the color commentator. So I caught myself with that.

Good job so far, but quick question. What about all the ratings for the segments? Nothing too big, but I would like to see them. Anyway, keep up the good work.

This is really just my own liking. I'm trying to do this as realistic as possible, so, I wanted to avoid mentioning any real in-game features, such as the match ratings, crowd reaction, etc. The crowd is you, so I believe that rating should come off of wut you guys think.

Great diary, but the only negative thing I have to say is about Foley.  He got 'fired' way back in december by McMahon.  Everyone seems to forget that.  Other than that,  great job.

Sunday April 1st 2001

The Heat opening plays and we cut inside the arena, as the Heat theme continues to play.

Michael Cole: “Hello everybody and welcome to Sunday Night Heat! I’m Michael Cole, alongside my colleague Tazz. What a night we have planned!”

Tazz: “No doubt Cole, no doubt.”

Michael Cole: “In the Heat main event, Eddie Guerrero will defend his WWF European Championship against the very athletic, and very talented, D’Lo Brown.”

Tazz: “Eddie Guerrero and D’Lo Brown, both competitors established stars in this business, and both can bring it when they need to. That match, is going to be a must see thing!”

Michael Cole: “Now I-“

Jerry Lynn’s theme music suddenly hits, and the lights in the arena change to blue and white. The crowd responds mixed, as Jerry Lynn appears on the stage, the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship around his waist.

Michael Cole: “Well it seems that we’re being joined by the NEW WWF Light-Heavyweight champion, Jerry Lynn. Who in his debut match in the company, defeated Crash Holly for the belt. That says something about this guy.”

Tazz: “Of course it says something, it says Jerry Lynn is not someone to mess with, something I could of told you.”

Jerry Lynn is in the ring, and is holding a microphone.

Michael Cole: “It seems Jerry Lynn has something to say.”

Tazz: “Yeah… not one of his strong points.”

Jerry Lynn: “In my debut match in this company, I brought everything I had, and I beat Crash Holly, to win the WWF Light-Heavyweight title. But that’s not good enough for me! I beat one man… But I want to prove to everyone, that I am the best Light-Heavyweight worker in this company! So… I’m issuing and open challenge, to any Light-Heavyweight worker in the back, who wants a shot at this championship belt… Right here… Right now!”

Michael Cole: “Jerry Lynn being very brave! Anybody could answer that challenge!”

Tazz: “He may not be the best speaker, but when it comes to guts, Jerry Lynn flourishes. He has the talent to back up his ego, I’m very interested to see who answers this challenge Cole.”

Jerry Lynn pauses in the ring, he soon hands the microphone back to Lilian Garcia, and goes back to waiting for his challenger. Kai En Tai’s theme music soon hits, and Funaki appears on the stage, as the fans cheer the foreign star.

Michael Cole: “Looks like the challenge has been answered by the WWF’s own Funaki!”

Tazz: “Funaki! Funaki an experienced and very talented Light-Heavyweight, although he has never held the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship. Looks like tonight, he’s looking to change that.”

Michael Cole: “This is going to be quite the match Tazz.”

Tazz: “You’re telling me!”

Funaki is now sliding into the ring, pumping himself up in front of Jerry Lynn. Jerry Lynn looks less then impressed, smirking to himself. He soon hands the Light-Heavyweight belt over to the newly arriving referee and the bell soon sounds.

Match Ending: The ending of the match came about when Funaki had delivered blow after blow to the champion, backing him up into the corner. The crowd was really behind Funaki, cheering on the underdog. However, providing his own distraction, Jerry Lynn managed to quickly low-blow his challenger, kicking backwards between the legs of Funaki. That allowed Funaki to be setup for the Cradle Piledriver, which was delivered beautifully by the Light-Heavyweight Champion. Jerry Lynn covered Funaki, and scored the pinfall.

Winner: Jerry Lynn©

Michael Cole: “Following a low blow, it was all downhill from there for the challenger Funaki. Jerry Lynn, retaining his Light-Heavyweight title.”

Tazz: “Well Cole, I don’t necessarily agree with the tactics used by Jerry Lynn, but what gets the job done, gets the job done.”

Michael Cole: “I guess you’re right. In any case, Jerry Lynn, walking away a winner here tonight.”

A shot of Funaki holding his head, walking up the aisle. Cut to Jerry Lynn standing in the ring, holding his Light-Heavyweight championship above his head. Lynn watches as Funaki leaves, and then ducks out of the ring, heading towards Funaki. From behind, Jerry Lynn floors Funaki with the title belt to the back of the head.

Michael Cole: “Hang on a minute! What was that for?! He won the match!”

Jerry Lynn: “I’m the greatest! I’m the best! Me! Me!”

Jerry Lynn begins stomping on Funaki who is down in the aisle way, the ref eventually shoves the champion away, and checks on the fallen challenger. The crowd boos Jerry Lynn as he disappears behind the curtain, smiling and laughing and his accomplishments.

We cut to the same video we saw at the beginning of Smackdown, however, edited into it are the assaults on Jericho/Vince McMahon, at the hands of Booker T/Shane McMahon/Jeff Jarrett. Also edited in is the Rock’s involvement with the situation, and the Undertaker/Kane/APA chasing away the WCW Team. The video ends with Jeff Jarrett’s line from Thursday’s Smackdown, “This is only the beginning!”

We cut back to the arena floor, groups of fans cheer as they see themselves on the titan tron.

Michael Cole: “A grim promise from one of the members of the invading WCW Team, Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett promising the WWF fans, and workers, that “This is only the beginning”. Scary thought Tazz, scary thought.”

Tazz: “You got that right Cole. There’s no way, anyone could have any idea about how far Shane McMahon is willing to lead his WCW Troops. We’re not going to see this situation resolved until one McMahon is left standing… and the other, well, the other isn’t.”

Michael Cole: “Scary.”

Tazz: “Yes Cole. But I got something even more scarier for you.”

Michael Cole: “What’s that?”

Tazz: “A Dean Malenko interview!”

Michael Cole: “Would you cut it out. Let’s send it to the back where Kevin Kelly is standing with the newly crowned WWF Hardcore Champion, Dean Malenko! Kevin?”

We cut backstage, where we find Kevin Kelly standing next to the WWF Hardcore Champion, Dean Malenko.

Kevin Kelly: “Thanks Cole and Tazz. I’m standing here with the new WWF Hardcore Champion, Dean Malenko. Now Dean, you shocked the world last Thursday night, when you Tigerbombed Kane, the then WWF Hardcore Champion, off of the Smackdown stage, allowing yourself to get the pinfall victory. How does it feel knowing that you have a victory over one of the most ruthless, hard baring men in this promotion?”

Dean Malenko: “How does it feel? How does it feel?! It feels wonderful Kevin Kelly! Ever since I came into this company I’ve been looking to make an impact. I’ve been scouting, I’ve been waiting for my opportunity to do just that. And that came Thursday night, when I defeated The Big Red Machine Kane, taking home WWF Gold.”

Kevin Kelly: “Aren’t you worried about Kane possibly looking for some sort of revenge?”

Dean Malenko: “Revenge? Revenge is sweet Kevin Kelly. The only person getting revenge around here is me, not Kane. I’m getting revenge for all of those times the people said I wouldn’t be able to make it in this company. I beat one of the biggest men in this sport, and if that doesn’t say something about me, then tell Kevin Kelly, what does it say?!”

Kevin Kelly: “Well I-“

“It says you’re a dead man!”

Hardcore Holly comes bursting into the scene, attacking Dean Malenko. Hardcore Holly brought along a referee, and begins battling Dean Malenko in an impromptu Hardcore championship bout.

Dean Malenko staggers back, taking some shots from the challenger. Both men lock up, but it psills into a brawl, both men falling to the ground, grabbing, and hitting anything that moves. Hardcore Holly brings his knee up, hitting Malenko in the gut. The champion remains on the ground, as Holly takes the opportunity to stand up, and arm himself. Holly begins searching through some production equipment, before arming himself with a rolled up coil of wire. Hardcore Holly walks back to Dean Malenko, who's getting to his feet, and wraps the wire around Malenko's throat, pulling back, choking the champion.

Malenko grunts, grabbing at the wire around his throat. Hardcore Holly pulls back, yelling at trash. Dean Malenko fires back with some stiff elbow shots back into the lower region of Hardcore Holly. Holly loosens his grip on the wire, hunched over the champion. Malenko fires up with an uppercut, connecting under the jaw of Hardcore Holly. Holly falls to the concrete.

Dean Malenko gets up stammering back, unwrapping the wire from around his throat. Malenko walks off screen, retrieving a steel chair from against the wall. Hardcore Holly comes storming fourth, but Malenko stops him with a stiff shot to the head with the steel chair. Hardcore Holly collapses to the ground, Dean Malenko, panting, drops and covers him. The ref drops and makes the count. One, two, Hardcore Holly kicks out. Malenko stands up, frustrated, bringing Hardcore Holly with him by the head. Both men stammer down the hallway of the arena. Dean Malenko stops, slamming Hardcore Holly’s head into the wall. Hardcore Holly connects, spins around, and stumbles further down the hallway. Dean Malenko is in pursuit, stalking Hardcore Holly. Hardcore Holly falls through a door, and Malenko follows.

The camera quickly catches up, following through the door. Dean Malenko/Hardcore Holly have battled into the office of Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon stands up from behind his desk, Jim Ross, and another man sit in front of it, startled by the intrusion.

Vince McMahon: “What the hell is going on here?! Get the hell-“

Hardcore Holly tackles Dean Malenko back over the desk of Vince McMahon. McMahon, Ross, and the man in the suit quickly move out of the way as the competitors continue brawling, despite McMahon’s outrage. Hardcore Holly continues punching at Dean Malenko, until Dean reaches around the desk, gripping the telephone, and smashes it across the side of the head of Hardcore Holly. Holly falls to the ground, Malenko raising to his feet.

Vince McMahon (off screen): “Knock it off! This is my office! Malenko! Knock it-“

Dean Malenko grabs a lamp which sits on an end table next to the black leather sofa, and in one swift moves, Malenko yanks the cord out of the wall, and smashes the lamp over the head of Hardcore Holly. Glass shatters around the cranium of Hardcore Holly. Holly kneels briefly, stunned, and then falls back. Jim Ross and the man in the suit are heard off camera, shocked at the blow Hardcore Holly just took. Malenko drops, and covers Hardcore Holly. The referee appears, and drops, making the count. One, two, three.

Malenko raises to his feet, exhausted, as the ref immediately begins to check on Hardcore Holly. Malenko smiles through his pain and his exhaustion.

Dean Malenko: “Yes! Yes! I did it!”

Malenko suddenly grabs the referee by the back of the neck, and shoves him back down to the ground.

Dean Malenko: “Where’s my belt? Where’s my belt?!”

The ref, afraid, signals off camera, and a man brings Dean Malenko his Hardcore Championship belt. Malenko snatches it from the hands of the stagehand and grips it to his chest. Malenko continues clutching on to his belt, as he walks off screen, and out of the room. We fade to a commercial, with a shot of Hardcore Holly being looked over.

We come back from commercial, with the Heat theme playing, to a nice shot of the crowd in the arena. The fans cheers as they see themselves on the titan tron. The Heat theme fades away and we cut to a ringside shot of Michael Cole and Tazz.

Michael Cole: "Ladies and gentlemen, it was a week ago tomorrow that Shane McMahon shocked the world, by announcing that he had purchased World Championship Wrestling, right out from under his fathers nose. In that time, we've seen Shane McMahon and the WCW forces, begin to wage a war on Vince McMahon, and the WWF promotion. We've seen the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T attack the owner of the WWF, Vince McMahon. We've seen WCW's Jeff Jarrett attack Chris Jericho backstage. Tazz, a war truly has broken out between WWF and WCW."

Tazz: "No doubt Cole, no doubt. It's crazy to think just how far this thing may go. You've mentioned Booker T, you've mentioned Jeff Jarrett. Who else is going to join forces with Shane McMahon? That's where Shane McMahon has the edge... We just don't know who he has up his sleeve."

Michael Cole: "We're about to show you a video package of the events which have transpired over-"

The screen slowly begins to flicker, each time, a spark of static is heard. The disruption continues to grow.

Michael Cole: “Um we seem to be having some tech-“

Tazz: “What’s going on-“

Michael Cole and Tazz are suddenly both cut off, as the screen becomes completely static. Suddenly, the screen switches backstage, where Shane McMahon is shown standing next to Jeff Jarrett and Booker T. The crowd boos the trio as they appear on screen.

Shane McMahon: “Okay guys, he’ll going to be here in a few minutes.”

Jeff Jarrett: “Cut the horse crap Shane, tell us who this guy is!”

Booker T: “Yea son, ya dig? I think me and Jeff here have a right to know exactly who is going to be fighting alongside us.”

Shane McMahon: “You’ll know as soon as he gets here. Trust me guys, he is one of the most talented workers in WCW, and I know that alongside the likes of you two, he’ll only flourish further as apart of this team.”

Jeff Jarrett: “I just don’t see the need to play games-“

A knock is heard on the locker room door.

Shane McMahon: “Hold that thought Jeff, he’s here.”

Shane McMahon walks off screen towards the door. The camera remains on the faces of Jeff Jarrett and Booker T, as the door is heard opening.

Shane McMahon (off screen): “Hey! Bout time you got here!”

Booker T and Jeff Jarrett’s eyes open wide, Jeff Jarrett quickly looks away, a smirk across his face, trying to hide his expression from everyone. Booker T continues stareing straight ahead, eyes wide.

Shane McMahon (off screen): “Guys…”

Shane McMahon walks back on screen.

Shane McMahon: “I believe you know our new friend, Chris Kanyon?”

The camera pans to the left revealing Chris Kanyon, standing next to Shane McMahon. Kanyon has on an overly expressive, excited, happy-go-lucky smile. Booker T looks over Chris Kanyon, as Jeff Jarrett coughs suddenly, laughing a bit.

Chris Kanyon: “Gentlemen! I would just like to express to you two, well, you three… Mr. McMahon…”

Kanyon nods to Shane, who nods back, continuing looking pleased with his new ally.

Chris Kanyon: “Just how honored I am to be standing next to Booker T, the five time WCW champion… and…”

Jeff Jarrett raises his eyebrow, stepping a bit in front of Booker T, looking cocky, awaiting his praise.

Chris Kanyon: “Jeff Jarrett… former WCW Champion…”

Jeff Jarrett coughs, stepping up to Chris Kanyon.

Jeff Jarrett: “Excuse me Slapnuts, Jeff Jarrett, four time WCW Champion, 6 times WWF Intercontinental Champion, former WWF European champion, former WWF tag-“

Shane McMahon: “Jeff! Jeff! Chill buddy.”

Jeff Jarrett steps back, Chris Kanyon nods his head, shrugging a bit.

Jeff Jarrett: “Shane, you know I respect you. Hell, I have respect for any man that tries to stick it to Vince McMahon. But c’mon Shane? HIM?!”

Jeff Jarrett nods in the direction of Chris Kanyon. Who begins to look confused, hurt.

Jeff Jarrett: “Look at this team… Booker T… Jeff Jarrett…”

Jeff begins pointing between him and Booker T.

Jeff Jarrett: “You add Chris Kanyon, and now you tell me… who doesn’t belong?!”

Shane McMahon looks angry, suddenly throwing up his hand, cutting off Jeff Jarrett.

Shane McMahon: “You listen to me Jeff. There is no room on this team for that kind of attitude. THERE IS NO ROOM IN THIS MISSION, FOR THAT KIND OF ATTITUDE! True Chris Kanyon may not have the credentials that you and Booker T may, but he is an extremely talented competitor, and an asset to MY WCW. Now… why don’t you and Booker T go and prepare everything for tomorrow night…”

Jeff Jarrett blinks a bit, nods slowly, and walks of screen. Booker T soon follows, not taking his eyes off of Chris Kanyon. The camera center in on Chris Kanyon and Shane McMahon.

Shane McMahon: “Listen Chris, I don’t want you to pay attention to anything Jeff said. Answer me this Chris… Do you want to be apart of the new WCW?”

Chris Kanyon nods.

Shane McMahon: “No Chris, I’m asking you, do you want to be apart of the NEW WCW?!”

Chris Kanyon: “Yes!”

Shane McMahon: “So prove to Jeff Jarrett… prove to Booker T… prove to me… to the world that you are to be taken seriously! Prove that you are the man, the athlete, you say, and I say, you are. Prove you can run with the big dogs, and you could fight this Invasion with me… with WCW!”

Chris Kanyon has begun breathing heavier, getting motivated by the words of Shane McMahon. He looks Shane McMahon in the eyes suddenly. He grits his teeth.

Chris Kanyon: “….HOW?!…”

Shane McMahon leans back, smiling a bit.

Shane McMahon: “I’ll leave THAT Chris… to you.”

We fade a commercial with Chris Kanyon looking into the eyes of Shane McMahon. Kanyon is nodding slowly.

We come back from commercial to a ringside shot of Michael Cole and Tazz.

Michael Cole: "Folks we'd like to apoligieze for that interupting before we went to commercial. Right now it is being looked into exactly how Shane McMahon virtually took control of our airwaves. Hopefully the problem has been resorted, and I'm getting word that as we speak there are guards backstage searching for Shane McMahon and his group. Of course, we want to avoid any type of confrontation between Shane McMahon, and his group of WCW Wrestlers, and the WWF superstars."

Tazz: "That's all fine Cole, but, did you see who I saw? Chris Kanyon the newest member of Shane McMahon's army!"

Michael Cole: "I saw him."

Tazz: "Kanyon being told that he needs to make an impact, to prove to Jeff Jarrett, and to the world that Chris Kanyon deserves to be in the NEW WCW."

Michael Cole: "I don't know what that means, but folks we now have for you the video package which we were going to show, before the interuption. Take a look... at the current, WCW Invasion..."

With that, we cut to a video package. The video is set to the music of Linkin Park's "Papercut". The video shows footage of the Final Nitro, Shane McMahon's announcment of him purchasing WCW, the crowds reaction, and some facial shots of various WCW workers backstage, apparently after hearing the news. We cut to Vince McMahon's shocked face, followed by Booker T debuting next to Shane McMahon, a closeup shot of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder. The song reaches climax, and as it does, Booker T is shown attacking Vince, Shane McMahon aiding him. The screen lights up with a flash, as The Rock is shown exploding to the ring at the start of his match, attacking Booker T. Cut to Jeff Jarrett attacking Chris Jericho, into Undertaker/Kane/APA running off Jarrett/Booker T/Shane McMahon. The video finishes with The Rock/The Undertaker/Kane/The APA standing behind Vince McMahon in the center of the ring. The group is looking in the crowd, at Shane McMahon/Jeff Jarrett/Booker T, who all look pleased, smiling back at the group. The screen fades to a shot of the WWF logo, but soon, the WCW Logo "morphs" into the logo, and the video ends.

We come back from the video as D'Lo Brown's theme music hits. The fans cheer as D'Lo Brown comes storming out from the entry way, playing up to the crowd response. D'Lo is all smiles as he walks down the ramp, slides into the ring, and poses for the crowd.

Michael Cole: "D'Lo Brown, about to take on Eddie Guerrero for the WWF European Championship."

Tazz: "An awesome opportonity for D'Lo Brown Cole. But the win isn't goig to come easy, Eddie Guerrero is no push over."

Michael Cole: "That being said, here comes the champion."

"LATINO HEAT..." Eddie Guerreros theme music blasts, and the fans begin to boo. Eddie Guerrero comes strouting out to the stage, bouncing to the music, the European championship around his waist. Eddie is also all smiles, ignoring the booing response from the crowd, acting cocky, and arrogent. Eddie walks down the ramp, and slowly enters the ring. Shot of D'Lo Brown cracking his neck and pumping himself up.

Michael Cole: "Two great athletes. This is going to be quite the match."

Eddie Guerrero© versus D'Lo Brown - European Championship

Match Ending: The ending of the match came about when D'Lo Brown had Eddie Guerrero in a hammerlock. Quickly, Eddie resorted to elbowing D'Lo Brown to break the hold. D'Lo released the grip, allowing Eddie to score with a quick drop toe hold, followed immeditely by a leg drop to the throat by Eddie. Eddie went for the cover, only to receive a two count. Soon Guerrero brought D'Lo to his feet, and then hit a sidewalk slam on the challenger. Guerrero climbed the turnbuckle, and soared off, hitting the Frogsplash, into the cover. One, two, three. Eddie retained his title.

Michael Cole: "Eddie Guerrero winning the match, and retaining his title!"

Tazz: "Awesome, awesome show of competitorship between these two great athletes."

Michael Cole: "Eddie Guerrero leaves here tonight, with another victory added to his notch, and the European Championship, still around his waist."

A show of Eddie Guerrero celebrating with his championship belt, walking backwards up the ramp. Suddenly, from the crowd, a figure hopes the barrier, and comes sliding into the ring. It's CHRIS KANYON!

Michael Cole: "WAIT A MINUTE!"

Tazz: "Chris Kanyon!"

Chris Kanyon runs over to the still fallen D'Lo Brown, lifts him up to his feet, and immeditely hits the Kanyon Driver. The crowd boos the attacking WCW superstar, as he continues beating on D'Lo Brown, as the referee tries to get him to stop.

Michael Cole: "We need someone out here!"

The crowd suddenly erupts in cheers as Eddie Guerrero comes storming back to the ring, full speed. Eddie slides into the ring, causing Chris Kanyon to back up. Punch to punch Eddie and Kanyon begin to go. Eddie nails Chris Kanyon with some viscious shots to the face, eventually sending Kanyon over the top rope. The crowd continues cheering as Kanyon stands on the outside of the ring, holding his face, looking pissed. A shot at the ring barrier shows Shane McMahon calling for Chris Kanyon, who soon hopes the barrier retreating with the McMahon.

Michael Cole: "Eddie Guerrero, coming to the aid of D'Lo Brown!"

Tazz: "Eddie doing whats right!"

The show ends with a shot of Eddie lifting D'Lo to his feet, watching Shane/Kanyon take off.

Really good first show. I'll be following this from now on.

I liked the Hardcore title thing, but how in the hell did Malenko pick Kane up? Small thing...

Malenko is actually quite strong, and in WCW picked up a few Heavyweights time to time.

WWF NEWS AND NOTES

-- WWF is keeping very tight lipped when it comes to which AOL Time Warner contracts they either plan, or already have bought out.

-- The current Stone Cold storyline which seems to be panning out is said to be the brainchild of none other than Stone Cold himself. It'll be interesting to see where that leads.

-- Jeff Jarrett arrived to the arena last night with Shane McMahon, and went directly into a meeting with Jim Ross and Vince McMahon. It's no secret about the hatred expressed by both sides, when Jarrett jumped ship to WCW in late 1999. Apparently, Vince himself has taken it upon himself to leave the past in past.

-- Triple H was very expressive last night backstage about not being booked on Smackdown. Apparently The Game felt he is a big name for the WWF and should of been used. On the flip side, Kurt Angle apparently met with Booker T before the event, and helped get him settled in to the backstage enviroment.

-- Dean Malenko was said to be shocked  before Raw went on the air, when he was told that he would be winning the Hardcore Championship from Kane. Hopefully the win leads to many more, and results in a decent push for Malenko.

-- From what I've heard, The Right To Censor has apparently been scrapped. Bull Buchanan has been sent down to OVW, to improve himself, while Val Venis/The Goodfather have been sent down to help train younger superstars.

-- Horace Hogan was given a tryout match earlier in the week at the TRAXX training center, and was said to be "less then impressive". Horace was given his release from his contract.

-- Big Show is apparently working with a sore knee. I for one am interested to see how the big man is used during this Invasion, given his history with WCW.

Nice. Now THAT was a good way to get an invasion started. Only thing I'm not sure of is the Stone Cold thing, as I'm hoping it leads to something down the line, and NOT the same thing that happened "in real life".

I also didn't care much for the Hardcore Title thing, but then I thought that in GENERAL the Hardcore Title 24/7 rule was only funny or useful in small doses.  And Jerry Lynn coming in the way he did was exactly how he DID come into the WWF, was it not?

Otherwise, a solid show, with enough big stuff to get the "war" off on the right foot, and a good dose of unpredictability , makes me happy.

There were some things that happened during the actual Invasion that I felt had the potential to be great, but ended up being lackluster, and bombed. So, think of the Stone Cold thing as a "correcting process" of what the WWF actually did.

The Hardcore title thing will lead to something

I brought Jerry Lynn in the same way he was brought in, in real life, because I also thought his debut could lead to a very interesting storyline, which I hope to produce.

To everyone else, I'm sorry it took so long to get the first event up. I was in the process of moving, thing's should run more smoothly now.

The opening video of Smackdown plays through, and we cut to the arena floor. No pyro this week, as the theme music of one, Vince McMahon, owner of the WWF is already playing. The boss, who is already halfway down the rampway seems to be all business tonight, and who can blame him.

Michael Cole: “Ladies and gentlemen, we’re starting things off with the owner of the WWF, Vince McMahon.”

Tazz: “You know Cole, as far as Vince would have been concerned, we would have been calling him the owner of WWF and WCW! But uh, things just didn’t work out that way.”

Michael Cole: “You’re absolutely right. Monday Night, we were shocked to learn that Shane McMahon bought out WCW, right out from under his father’s nose. No doubt, that Vince has got something to say about that.”

Vince McMahon is now in the ring. He motions for a microphone, which he promptly receives.

Vince McMahon: “Cut my music, cut my music please.”

The fans are giving Vince a mixed reaction, some people are booing, some are clapping.

Vince McMahon: “You people know damn well why I’m out here. Last Monday Night, my son Shane, went behind my back. He went behind my back and he single handedly destroyed my dream! He took away my moment! You see, Monday Night was MY night! It was the night that Vince McMahon would announce to the World that he had bought out his competition, that he had buried World Championship Wrestling. I was in high spirits all day Monday. There wasn’t a thing you could do that would of made me upset. But then, the unthinkable happened. As I stood in this very ring, beaming over my success, it was my own son Shane who made an appearance. Not in a WWF ring, but a WCW ring. Live from Monday Night Nitro, Shane proceeded to kill my moment! To kill my dream!… Shane McMahon… now owns WCW? What- How-“

Vince begins to swallow repeatedly, it becomes evident that emotions are flying high.

Vince McMahon: “By 11 O’clock, Monday Night, I was on the phone with my lawyers. Demanding to know the truth. I asked every question, and I received the same answer over and over again. It is… in fact… true. My son outsmarted me! My son made one hell of a business move! But then… my son Shane, made a mistake…”

Tazz: “Oh boy.”

Michael Cole: “Here we go.”

Vince McMahon: “My son Shane, threatened me. He threatened the World Wrestling Federation. The company that helped raise him! The company that put him through college! That bought him his car! That paid for his wedding! He threatened his own blood! That is something, I’m NOT going to stand for. Now-“

“HERE COMES THE MONEY!” The theme music of Shane McMahon hits. The reaction is immediate from the fans. A mixture of cheer and jeers as Shane McMahon appears from behind the curtain, black suit, red tie, and in high spirits, much like his father at the beginning of Monday Night Raw.

Tazz: “Here he comes!”

Michael Cole: “Shane McMahon! The NEW owner of WCW!”

Tazz: “Say it Cole. Say it.”

Michael Cole: “Say what? That I’m shocked? That I’m-“

Tazz: “No, say it… “Business is about to pick up.” "

Michael Cole: “Business is about to pick up!”

Vince McMahon stands in the center of the ring, eyeing his son Shane as he enters the ring, opposite end of his father. With a smile across his face, Shane motions for a microphone which he is given. The fans are still making noise as his theme music cues off.

Shane McMahon: “What’s up pops?!”

Vince McMahon slowly lowers the microphone, staring a hole through his own flesh and blood.

Shane McMahon: “Now I’m sorry. But I was in the back, and I just couldn’t listen to you… frankly, piss and moan any longer!”

The comment receives a bit of laughter from the fans, and sparks a mild pop.

Shane McMahon: “I mean, what are you really angry about? That for once, the McMahon everyone is talking about… isn’t Vince McMahon? That for once, Shane McMahon is making headlines, while his father is stuck in his shadow?! You brought this on yourself Dad. You think I give a damn about what this company did for me in the past? Well guess what old man, I don’t.”

Jeers from the crowd.

Tazz: “Wow.”

Michael Cole: “:cough: Thing’s getting pretty emotional here.”

Vince McMahon raises his microphone.

Vince McMahon: “The years of you being a referee. The years of you being an interviewer, a commentator. All of the things you learned about this business… and your willing to throw it all away. For what? For what-“

Shane McMahon: “For what?! FOR WHAT?! I’ll tell you for what Vince! Here’s a nice reality check for you. W… C…. W… better athletes! Bigger stars!”

The WWF fans erupt in a chorus of boos, talking trash from their seats, directed at Shane McMahon.

Tazz: “Well, that’s his opinion. I’m not saying it’s right.”

Shane McMahon: “Oh, I almost forgot… better athletes, bigger stars… cleaner fans.”

The booing from the crowd continues.

Shane McMahon: “You people know it’s true!”

Shane McMahon turns out to the audience.

Shane McMahon: “Don’t’ even try and deny it! You know it’s true… and YOU know it’s true.”

Shane has turned back to his father, now only feet away from him.

Shane McMahon: “But incase you need a reminder… Vince… fan of the WWF… Allow me to introduce you, to a REAL athlete. Allow me to introduce you to, the real world champion of professional wrestling. Put your hands together, for my man, Booker T!”

"CAN YOU DIG IT?! SUCKA!" Remembering what he’s done in WCW, fans cheer, while others boo him being introduced as the real worlds champion. Booker T appears in the entrance way, blue jeans, and a black “WCW” shirt. Draped over his shoulder lays the WCW World Heavyweight Title belt.

Michael Cole: “It’s the champ, well, of WCW.”

Tazz: “Can he still call himself champion?”

Michael Cole: “You going to stop him?”

Booker T is midway down the ramp, soaking in the reaction from the fans. He son enters the ring behind Shane McMahon, and stands, gleaming at Vince, and the WWF fans.

Booker T’s theme music subsides.

Shane McMahon: “Impressive isn’t he Vince? This is what a REAL world champion looks like!”

Vince McMahon, after looking over Booker T for a few seconds raises his microphone.

Vince McMahon: “So this is what it’s going to come down to? You bringing out your WCW pals, in a game of “My guy is better than yours!”, like some elementary school BRAT?!”

The crowd responds with laughter and a pop. Shane McMahon and Booker T both look shocked, and angered by the remark.

Vince McMahon: “What’s next? Tony Schiavone going to come out here and tell Michael Cole, his dad can kick Michael’s Dad’s ass?!”

Laughter and another pop from the crowd.

Tazz: “On your behalf, I would just like to say Cole’s dad is in pretty good shape.”

Michael Cole: “Why thank you.”

Tazz: “Yea, round is a good shape.”

Vince McMahon: “Or how about-“

Suddenly Booker T explodes from behind Shane McMahon, knocking Vince McMahon over with the World Heavyweight Title belt. Vince falls hard to the wrestling mat, the sound of the microphone hitting the ring sends a loud cracking sound through the arena.

The fans are booing tremendously as Booker T continues to lay a beating to the WWF boss, as Shane McMahon parades behind the assault, drilling Booker T on, motivating him. The fans suddenly cheer, and the camera spins toward the entrance way. The Acolytes, Kane, and The Undertaker come storming down the rampway. Intelligently, Shane and Booker T let up on the assault, and high-tail it out of the ring, and through the crowd.

Michael Cole: “Booker T attacking the boss! Undertaker, Kane, and the APA coming to his rescue! WWF versus WCW has truly began!”

With those words from Michael Cole, we proceed to commercial.

We return from commercial break, as a replay of what just happened begins to show.

Michael Cole: “Before we went to break it was Booker T, WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and Shane McMahon, owner of WCW, attacking WWF Chairman Vince McMahon. The cavalry soon arrived in the form of Undertaker, and Kane, the brothers of destruction, and the A.P.A. “

With that, we cut backstage where WWF Commissioner, Mick Foley is shown in this weeks makeshift office of his. For once, Mick actually looks hard at work, going through some manila folders, and taking notes. There’s a brief knock at the door, and Mick Foley looks up. The camera bans back to reveal only the lower-back of the intruder. All we see a pair of plain black wrestling tights. Mick Foley looks pleased at the entrance of the guest.

Mick Foley: “I want you to remember one thing before you go out there. This is the WWF… Keep things clean… Keep things fair, and have a hell of a match.”

Following the words of Mick Foley, we cut back to the arena floor. The theme music of Crash Holly hits, and the WWF Light-Heavyweight Champion makes his way down the ramp to a warm response from the crowd.

Michael Cole: “Who was Mick talking to?”

Tazz: “How am I supposed to know?”

Michael Cole: “I’m assuming whoever it is, will be Crash Holly’s opponent here tonight, as there isn’t anybody listed on tonight’s card.”

Tazz: “Here’s the big question tho Cole. The person Mick was talking to was obviously a newcomer to WWF, could Mick have strayed a former WCW wrestler, away from the followings of Shane McMahon?”

Michael Cole: “Good question Tazz, looks like we’re about to find out!”

The lights in the arena change, and a generic sounding theme music hits. The titantron comes to life, simply displaying the WWF logo. A spotlight hits the stage, and WWF newcomer, Jerry Lynn appears. The fans great Lynn with applause.

Tazz: “Hey! Hey!”

Michael Cole: “It’s Jerry Lynn! Of ECW fame!”

Tazz: “What a debut match for the WWF Light-Heavyweight championship. Commissioner Foley must think pretty highly of this guy.”

Lynn is mid-rampway and begins to interact with the fans, slapping hands, before storming the ring, and sliding under the bottom rope. Lynn stands, and faces his opponent, Crash Holly.

Match Ending: The ending of the match saw Crash Holly beat Jerry Lynn down to the mat with a few stomps, following a tornado DDT. After Crash was pleased with the beating he laid forth, he turned to the crowd and began to talk trash, and pose, allowing his cocky-ness to get the better of him. During this time, Jerry Lynn kipped up and quickly attacked, hitting a cradle piledriver on the WWF Light-Heavyweight champion. Jerry Lynn covered the fallen champion, to score the pinfall victory.

Michael Cole: “He did it! In his debut match, Jerry Lynn defeats Crash Holly to capture WWF gold!”

Tazz: “Man oh man, if this is any sign of where this guy is headed in WWF, we all better look out!”

We cut backstage to find WWF Chairman Vince McMahon walking the hallways holding an icepack to his temple. Vince looks angry, which is understandable, considering the attack he suffered at the hands of his own son Shane, and the WCW Champion, Booker T.

Vince stops suddenly, and barges into a nearby door, the camera gets a shot of the nameplate which reads “Stone Cold”. At the sight of the nameplate, the WWF fans respond with mixed reactions. The cameraman quickly follows Vince into Austin’s locker room.

As we enter the room, we find Stone Cold sitting on a couch, his wife Debra at his side. Vince is pacing frantically in front of the couple, and Austin looks shocked about something.

Vince McMahon: “I can’t believe… I simply can not believe… How…”

Stone Cold suddenly coughs real loud, interrupting Vince from his little tirade. Vince stops in front of Austin, and gazes at him.

Stone Cold: “I’ll tell you what I can’t believe. I can’t believe, Vince McMahon just barged on into my locker room, without having the common courtesy to knock first!”

Vince looks angered, and shocks. He takes two steps back, and looks down at the WWF Champion.

Vince McMahon: “Knock? You want me to knock?! Where have you been?! Did you see what that son of a bitch Booker T, and Shane did to me?! Speaking of which, where were you?! How could you just let Booker T and Shane do that to me?! If it weren’t for the APA, Kane, and The Undertaker, who knows what would of happened!”

Stone Cold stands up straight, throwing the WWF Championship across the lap of his wife Debra, who remains on the couch, quiet.

Stone Cold: “I saw what they did to you, and I want you to know that I was on my way out, but Undertaker, Kane, and the APA had already come out, and chased those two son bitches away.”

Vince McMahon: “But Steve-“

Stone Cold: “:cough’s real loud: Nah, nah, nah. Hold on just a second. You don’t sound to pleased with me Vince. You have the tone of a man who has a problem. You have something you want to say to me Vince?”

Vince McMahon: “Tonight… I’m making it Booker T… versus Stone Cold Steve Austin. Champion versus Champion. I want you to end this war, before it even begins!”

The fans erupt in cheers. Some breaking out in an “Austin! Austin! Etc” chant.

Stone Cold: “You want me to fight Booker T tonight? You want to see WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the greatest World champion this business has ever seen, to go up against a world champion poser, WCW “Champ” Booker T, tonight? Well that sounds fine and dandy Vince, but you’re forgetting one thing…”

Vince McMahon: “And what’s that?”

Stone Cold: “I’m still suffering from injuries I received during the cage match with Rock two weeks ago…”

The fans in the arena, upon hearing this, boo loudly.

Stone Cold: “Fact of the matter is, I haven’t been cleared to wrestle by my doctor.”

The fans continue to boo as Vince McMahon looks stunned. Suddenly, Vince’s face becomes contorted with anger, and rage.

Vince McMahon: “You listen to me you son of a bitch! You’re going to go out there tonight, and you’re going to beat the living hell out of Booker T! Why?! Because I’m your damn boss, I’m not your buddy! I’m not your pal! I don’t give a damn about some little pain you may be feeling in your ankle, or knee, or arm. This is serious! This is the biggest threat that has ever faced the World Wrestling Federation, and you, as World Champion, are going to lead the fight! Do I make myself clear!”

Stone Cold looks stunned, staring at Vince. McMahon breaks the awkward silence.

Vince McMahon: “I’m taking that… as a yes… Now, start getting ready for your match…”

Vince McMahon walks off screen and out of the room. The scene fades with the continuous shot of Stone Cold looking stunned beyond belief.

We come back from commercial, with The Dudley Boys theme music playing throughout the arena. Bubba Ray and D’Von are already in the ring, and the crowd is solidly behind them.

Michael Cole: “The Dudley Boys in the ring, awaiting the arrival of Edge and Christian. We’re about to show you, how this match came about.”

With those words from Michael Cole, we cut to a paused image of the Dudley Boys backstage. In the bottom left hand corner is the words “Earlier Tonight.” . The video begins to play.

Bubba Ray Dudley: “No, I couldn’t believe it either, five-seven in the ninth inning-“

D’Von Dudley: “I told you man, always bet on the underdog.”

With that, the sound of the locker room door opening is heard. Both Dudley Boys look up, and smile. Mick Foley walks into the frame, and shakes hands with both Dudley’s, greeting them.

Mick Foley: “Bubba… D’Von… As you two know, right now the WWF is going through a bit of a struggle. With this whole WCW, Shane McMahon situation, I’m, frankly, worried.”

Bubba Ray: “What are you worried about Mick? I mean, you know me and D’Von are WWF all the way-“

Mick Foley: “No. Of course, I’m not doubting that if it ever comes down to it, that you two wouldn’t be there to fight for the WWF. But, what I don’t want to happen, and what I’m worried will happen, is suddenly, this WCW thing is all anybodies going to care about. Sure, it’s big news, but this is the WWF, and as Commissioner, this is MY WWF. So tonight, I want to make sure we entertain those fans, like only the WWF can, like only I know you two can. So tonight, I’m booking Bubba Ray Dudley, and D’Von Dudley, to go up against the reigning WWF World Tag Team Champions, Edge and Christian!”

Bubba Ray: “For the belts?!”

Mick Foley: “For the championships!”

D’Von Dudley: “Nice!”

Bubba Ray: “Mick, you won’t regret this. We’re going to do exactly what-“

Suddenly Edge and Christian burst onto the screen, attacking Bubba Ray and D’Von from behind. The WWF Tag Team champions lay on the beating, before retreating as Mick Foley begins to get involved.

We cut back to the ring, where The Dudley Boys are still playing up to the crowd. Edge and Christian’s theme music hits, and the egotistical duo emerge from the curtain. The fans greet the pair with booing.

Michael Cole: “The Dudley Boys versus Edge and Christian, WWF Tag Team championship on the line!”

Tazz: “No doubt Cole, this is going to be a rocketbusta.”

Match Ending: The ending of the match came about when Bubba Ray and Edge were battling it out in the center of the ring. Christian/D’Von had both gone to the outside of the ring, and were fighting by the entrance way, when Edge went flying into the referee, knocking him to the canvas. Edge capitalized by rolling to the outside and retrieving a steel chair. As he did Christian, after leaving D’Von outside of the ring, rolled into the ring, and hit Bubba Ray with the Unprettier following a low blow. Edge came back into the ring, and nailed D’Von over the head with the chair, as he came to Bubba Ray’s defense. Christian quickly rolled D’Von out of the ring, and brought the steel chair with him. Edge covered Bubba Ray, after Christian shook the referee to consciousness, scoring the pinfall victory.

Michael Cole: “Edge and Christian retaining their tag team gold, following a stolen victory!”

Tazz: “Well, I don’t agree with the tactics used Cole, but if they work, they work.”

Michael Cole: “Edge and Christian steeling a- Wait a minute. Folks, I’m getting word that there is some sort of altercation happening backstage!”

We cut to a motion filled shot of running down a hallway backstage. The camera comes upon a dressing room. The nameplate outside the door reads “Chris Jericho”, and there is a lot of commotion from within the room. It becomes evident that there’s a fight taking place.

Suddenly, the door swings open, and a loud crash is heard. Chris Jericho falls from the doorway, into the hallway, right in front of the camera. Around Chris Jericho’s head sits the remains of a guitar. The camera quickly pans to the right to reveal none other then Jeff Jarrett standing in the doorway, looking down at the fallen WWF Superstar. Decked out in a black WCW T-Shirt, blue jeans, and black sunglasses, Jarrett steps over the fallen WWF Superstar and out into the hallway. He turns towards the camera and begins walking, the camera following behind him. Jarrett walks through a door, and almost runs directly into Kevin Kelly who is holding a microphone. Kelly, apparently was running to greet Jeff Jarrett.

Kevin Kelly: “Jeff! Jeff! Some words? Please!?”

Jeff Jarrett stops walking, and grabs the microphone out of Kevin Kelly’s hands. He then looks into the camera.

Jeff Jarrett: “Listen up slapnuts! This is the only the beginning! Tonight, Booker T will destroy WWF’s precious Heavyweight champion, and WCW will prove just how superior we are!”

The crowd is booing tremendously as the WCW superstar throws the microphone down, and walks away, Kevin Kelly bends down and picks up the microphone slowly, watching Jeff Jarrett walk away.

Michael Cole: “Jeff Jarrett! I don’t believe it!”

We fade to a commercial.

As we come back from commercial, we find a paused image of the scene we witnessed before going to a commercial.

Michael Cole: “Ladies and gentlemen, before we went to commercial it was Chris Jericho who fell victim to a devastating attack, from the hands of WCW Superstar, Jeff Jarrett.”

With that, the video begins to play, and shows Chris Jericho falling into the hallway, with the remains of the guitar scattered around him. It then cuts to Jeff Jarrett talking to Kevin Kelly, giving everyone his warning about tonight. We cut back to the arena floor.

Michael Cole: “Already tonight, we’ve seen Vince McMahon, WWF Chairman attacked by WCW’s Booker T, and now Chris Jericho taken out by WCW’s Jeff Jarrett. What’s scary is, we’re not through.”

Tazz: “Cole, I must admit. When Shane first announced on Monday that he’d be waging war against the WWF, I, as well as I think everybody else, didn’t really take him seriously. But now… now, I’m not so sure. Things are getting a bit intense.”

Michael Cole: “Well Tazz I- Wait a minute… Now what?!”

The theme music of Raven begins to play throughout the arena. The fans boo as Raven appears in the entrance way, arms spread wide, posing for a bit. Raven walks down the ramp, and enters the ring. Raven signals for a microphone which he is soon given.

Michael Cole: “Well folks I don’t know what this is about… Raven is not scheduled to be out here right now.”

Raven: “In a time when two promotions are at war with one another, with the battle lines being drawn. It is the foolish man who picks a side, trying to figure out for himself which has the odds in victory. It is the intelligent man who takes the opportunity to look out for himself! What about me?! What about Raven?! Tonight, destiny has reared it’s ugly head, and called to me. Kane! Tonight, destiny pairs you and I up!”

Michael Cole: “Is Raven challenging Kane to a match tonight?!”

Tazz: “No one ever said he was smart.”

Fire suddenly explodes from the stage, as Kane’s entrance music hits. The fans erupt in cheers as The Big Red Machine emerges from behind the curtain, the Hardcore Championship draped over his shoulder. A quick camera shot to the ring shows Raven looking unprovoked, and ready for a fight.

Suddenly, from behind Kane, a steel chair comes crashing against his back. Kane falls to his knees, as his theme music promptly cuts off.

Michael Cole: “Hey! What the-“

The lights in the arena return to normal, and Dean Malenko is seen standing behind Kane, chair in hand.

Michael Cole: “What the hell is Dean Malenko doing out here?!”

Tazz: “I don’t know Cole, but Raven doesn’t seem that upset.”

With that, we cut to the ring where Raven is shown, actually smiling. We cut back to the rampway, where Dean Malenko continues to drill into Kane with the steel chair. However, Kane suddenly punches the chair out of Malenko’s hands, sending it sliding up the ramp. Dean looks shocked, and begins backing up as the Monster known as Kane raises to his feet. Kane slowly stalks Dean.

Michael Cole: “Look’s like Dean’s luck has finally run out!”

Raven explodes into the screen, jumping on Kane’s back, and sending him down to the floor with vicious punches to the back of the head. Raven promptly hollers at Dean to get the fallen weapon.

Michael Cole: “What a minute! Dean Malenko and Raven are working on the same page?! What the hell is going on here?!”

Raven let’s up on the assault just long enough to allow Dean to hit Kane three times across the back with the steel chair. Referee’s now standing at the top of the stage, trying to calm the situation down.

Tazz: “C’mon guys! You’re not going to stop them by just staring at them!”

Michael Cole: “Dean Malenko and Raven assaulting Kane!”

Dean Malenko suddenly grabs a referee by the collar, and throws him down towards Raven/Kane. Malenko turns, and begins shouting at the rest of the group of officials. Down by the arena floor, Raven covers Kane, the referee realizes and quickly drops to make the count. One, two- Dean Malenko suddenly lands on the back of Raven, disrupting the count.

Michael Cole: “Raven with the cover, trying to take advantage of the 24/7 rule of the Hardcore title. But it seems that the mutual agreement between Raven/Dean Malenko may be coming to an end!”

Malenko begins arguing with Raven, about him attempting to pin Kane. Raven suddenly shoves Dean, Malenko returns with a fist to the head. Raven, and Dean Malenko begin slugging it out at the bottom of the ramp.

Michael Cole: “Here we go! That relationship didn’t last long!”

The referee tries to break the two men up, only to get punched out by Dean Malenko. Another referee tries to succeed where the other failed, only to get punched out himself. Raven/Dean Malenko continue to brawl.

Michael Cole: “Dean Malenko and Raven, taking out WWF officials- Hey! Where are you going?!”

The sound of a headset being dropped is heard, and the camera quickly picks up Tazz standing from his commentating position. The fans cheer loudly as Tazz removes his suit jacket, throws it on the ground, and walks over to where the brawl is taking place.

Michael Cole: “My colleague Tazz has abandoned his post. It seems he’s taking matters in to his own hands!”

Raven and Dean continue to brawl. Suddenly Tazz lashes out, locking on the Tazzmission on Raven. Raven squeals briefly, flailing his arms about, but suddenly becomes noticeably weaker. Raven drops to the ground, and Tazz removes his hold, but as soon as he stands straight, Dean Malenko greets Tazz with a chair shot across the back. Tazz falls to the ground, and the crowd boos.

Michael Cole: “NO! Tazz taken out by a chair shot from Dean Malenko! Wait! Kane is back up!”

Kane is suddenly back up, grabbing for Dean Malenko, but Malenko ducks away, and stammers up the entrance way. Kane isn’t letting him get away tho, promptly walking after his attacker.

Michael Cole: “Look’s like Dean Malenko has had enough! But Kane apparently hasn’t! Can someone check on Tazz?!”

Now on the stage, Dean Malenko begins walking backwards towards the edge of the stage, asking for forgiveness from Kane. Kane continues to stalk Malenko. Suddenly Malenko throws the chair into the Kane’s face, Kane quickly swipes the chair away, but is greeted by a spinning heel kick from Malenko. Kane is down on the stage. Malenko lifts Kane to a knee, and set’s him up, walking dangerously close to the edge of the stage.

Michael Cole: “He’s not even thinking about doing what I think he is, is he?!”

Malenko, amazingly lifts Kane up, and sends him crashing off the stage, through two tables and to the arena floor with a beautiful Tigerbomb. The fans are in awe for a brief moment, and promptly begin chanting “Holy shit! Holy shit!”

Michael Cole: “My God! My God! My God! Kane off the stage! Kane off the stage! We need help! We need help out here!”

Malenko drops to his butt, and hops down from the stage next to the motionless Kane. Referee’s begin to gather, but Dean Malenko holds all but one back. Malenko drops, and covers Kane. The referee shocked that after all of this Malenko simply wants to make the cover, drops, and makes the count. One, two, three!

Michael Cole: “Malenko scoring the pinfall victory over Kane, winning the WWF Hardcore Championship! I can’t believe it!”

Dean Malenko’s theme music hits, and Dean quickly climbs back onto the stage, and retrieves the belt where Kane had dropped it. Malenko raises the championship high, celebrating his win, as the fans give the competitor a mixed reaction. The camera cuts to the fallen Kane who suddenly, amazingly, sits up!

Michael Cole: “I don’t believe it! Kane has sat up!”

Upon seeing this, Dean Malenko promptly ends his celebration and runs backstage. Raven/Tazz are both shown at the end of the rampway, tending to their own wounds, and slowly getting to their feet.

Michael Cole: “Dean Malenko! NEW WWF Hardcore Champion!”

We fade to a commercial.

We return from commercial to find Shane McMahon, Booker T, and Jeff Jarrett standing together, somewhere backstage. The fans instantly begin to boo the three, as Shane McMahon stands in the center of the screen, his allies on each side.

Shane McMahon: "Alright Booker T, tonight, we were given the biggest oppurtonity we could ask for. Without realizing Vince handed us victory on a silver platter... It's going to be you, WCW Champion, Booker T, the greatest WCW Champion in history! Versus... WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin... Booker, if you beat Austin tonight, you prove flat out, WCW is superior to the WWF in every way shape and form. Your victory tonight can be the first rock, in the paved road of success! I just need to know... are you ready?!"

Booker T who was pumping himself up while Shane McMahon was speaking nods.

Booker T: "YES!"

Shane McMahon: "Are you going to get that victory, for yourself! for me! and most importantly for WCW?!"

Booker T: "YES!"

Shane McMahon: "Let's go."

With that the group walks off screen. We cut to the arena floor.

Michael Cole: "Shane McMahon, pumping up WCW Champion, Booker T, who in just a few moments will meet WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin in the ring. I'm Michael Cole, and I'm being joined by WWF's senior commentator, Good O'le JR, Jim Ross!"

Jim Ross: "It's good to be here Michael. I was backstage visiting with Vince, trying to get this whole WCW situation sorted out, when I saw your partner Tazz take a hit. I was backstage, and although Tazz is doing fine, we thought it best if he went to the hospital to get looked at. So, I hope you don't mind me filling in."

Michael Cole: "Not at all JR. What a match you get to call tho, WCW Champion Booker T, versus WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin!"

Jim Ross: "It's going to be a milestone in this industry Michael Cole. Never has the WWF Champion faced the World champion of another promotion, and tonight, it being WCW, with the long and heated past the two companies have had, it's going to be one, for the ages."

"CAN YOU DIG IT? SUCKA!!!" The theme music of WCW Champion, Booker T hits. The fans erupt in a chorus of boos as Booker T emerges from behind the curtain, WCW Championship around his waist. Shane McMahon soon joins Booker T on the stage, and the duo make their way down the ramp.

Jim Ross: "WCW Champion Booker T, being lead to the ring by the NEW owner of WCW, Shane McMahon."

Michael Cole: "In this type of situation JR, you really have to think about what kind of advantage Booker T could have, with a man like Shane McMahon being in his corner."

Jim Ross: "No doubt. I don't think, nor do I expect Shane McMahon to not atleast try to get involved in this epic battle."

Booker T stands in the ring, as Shane McMahon calls out bits of motivation from ringside. The theme music of Vince McMahon hits, and the crowd cheers the WWF Chairman.

Michael Cole: "Vince McMahon?!"

Vince McMahon appears on stage, a microphone in hand. His music fades off, and he awaits the fans to quiet down.

Vince McMahon: "Tonight... You, the fans, are about to be treated to one of the most defining moments, this business has ever witnessed! The magnitude of this event is simply... simply unmeasurable. For the first time in history, the WWF Champion will go one on one, with the WCW Champion. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the-"

The titan tron comes to life, showing the parking garage. On the bottom left of the screen reads "Moments Ago". Stone Cold Steve Austin and Debra are seen walking through the garage, Debra seemingly yelling at Steve Austin. Austin turns to her.

Stone Cold: "That man ordered me to do something! I'm not going to take that from him!"

With that Stone Cold continues walking through the garage, the pair comes upon Austin's pickup truck in the garage, and Austin throws his bags in the back.

Stone Cold: "Get in the car Debra!"

Debra reluctently gets in the car, as does Stone Cold. The duo back out, and drive out of the arena, the rear headlights the last we see of them. The scene cuts back to Vince McMahon who looks terrified, and shocked.

Vince blinks repeatedly trying to get himself back into reality. In the ring, Booker T erupts with laughter, and Shane McMahon yells calls of victory at the WCW Champion.

Vince McMahon: "I... I don't... I'm afraid... The champion... versus champion match... has been can-"

"IF YA SMELL!!!!!!!!!" The Rock's theme suddenly erupts throughout the arena, and the fans erupt! Vince McMahon's look of remorse, suddenly lights up, as The Rock comes storming out from behind the curtain, and stands next to Vince on the rampway. Booker T and Shane both look shocked.

Jim Ross: "The champion versus champion match isn't canceled! It's going to be WCW Champion, versus THE PEOPLES CHAMPION! THE ROCK!"

Michael Cole: "Business is about to pick up!"

The Rock storms down the rampway, and slides into the ring.

Match Ending: This match had the fans on their feet every moment. The Rock proved why he is a locker room leader, selling for the WCW newcomer Booker T, and putting the superstar over. For each moment the Rock had in the sunshine, Booker T was given his. Failed Rock Bottom attempts, topped off with failed Book End attempts, left the fans on the edge of their seats. The ending of the match saw Rock score with a Spinebuster, signaling the Peoples Elbow! The fans erupted at this sight. The Rock finished the taunt and ran the ropes, but suddenly, Shane McMahon was in the ring, attacking The Rock. The fans erupted, booing the loudest they had all night long, some throwing trash. Shane McMahon and Booker T began pummeling the Rock. Vince McMahon suddenly slid into the ring, and began brawling with his son Shane to the fans delight. A McMahon slugfest thrilled the fans, as Booker T and Rock continued to fight. Jeff Jarrett came through the crowd, and into the ring, nailing Vince McMahon from behind, before turning his sights on The Rock. Jeff Jarrett promptly nailed The Stroke on The Rock, to the fans dismay. Chris Jericho, came running down the rampway out of no where, steel chair in hand. Jericho slid in the ring, and began nailing everything that moved. A chair shot to the head for Booker T, followed by Jeff Jarrett had the fans erupting with cheers. Shane McMahon ducked out of the ring, bringing his two WCW allies with him.

Winner: NO CONTEST

Jim Ross: "Jeff Jarrett attacking The Rock! The Rock battling Booker T! Shane McMahon fighting his father Vince McMahon! Chris Jericho with a chair shot to Booker T and Jeff Jarrett! Good God! Good God! The war between WCW and WWF is just beginning! Good god almighty!"
