  1. Clara is CAL. "If something is remembered, it can be brought back."

CAL uses the term "clever boy" a lot. Clara calls herself a clever girl.

Both created artificial realities to keep themselves safe.

Now this would mean that CAL left the library, which would mean River Song is deleted. However, you can easily explain that CAL outgrew the library, transferred the data, etc.

  2. Fantastic episode. Can't wait for the finale.

    Who I Think SHOULD Die

    1) Hershel, sacrificing himself to save...

    2) Beth & Judith who get pinned down in the hallways of the prison by walkers.

    3) Milton, after foiling The Governor's attempt to kill Carl.

    4) Woodbury, the gunfire of war attracts a horde and with their defense divided the town falls.

    5) Sasha, "friendly" fire from Woodbury folk, causing Tyrese to snap and begin aiding Rick.

    6) Martinez, leg sliced off by Michone, and left to be eaten by walkers, mostly because we haven't seen Michone only injure somebody with the sword yet.

    7) Andrea, jumps between Michonne/Governor and takes the bullet from The Governor. Michonne/Andrea get their goodbye.

    8) Woodbury folk who attacked the prison, for underestimating the walkers and concentrating too much on Rick's group.

    And that's it.

Carol should stay alive because Daryl is in a unique spot as far as character development goes, the chemistry between the two characters could be really interesting moving forward.

Maggie/Glenn should stay alive mostly to explore Maggie losing the rest of her family. I think losing her family + Glenn would be too much too soon.

The Governor should be badly wounded and mistaken for dead, or locked in a cellblock by Rick with a bunch of walkers. Rick needs to make the mistake of not killing him, in my opinion, so he can return Season 5 or 6.

That would leave the group of survivors at

Rick, Tyrese, Michone, Carl, Maggie, Glenn, Daryl, Carol

  3. Michonne says her pets deserve what they got because they were never human and then

it dissolved in to the governor preparing to do something inhuman. Thats good storytelling. Not to mention it answered the question of who the pets were to michonne to everyone that didnt read the comic.

  4. Last night's episode has me thinking that the Governor is going to be "killed off" this season by being trapped with a bunch of walkers. I could see Carl, Daryl, Andrea, and Michonne locking him in the tombs of the prison that are now re-infested and the viewers seeing him overcome with no certain ending. I think that'd be a great way to go, especially since that leaves room for bringing him back later in the series, hacked up with a couple of limbs missing to keep the bites he got from killing him. Maybe Milton helps him. Part of me thinks Milton is going to eat it in the next episode, but another part of me hopes there's more to his character that we're going to find out.

I also believe that they should rob us of the satisfaction of getting the demise we want. We are craving retribution from andrea, maggie, michonne, and rick.... Too bad. We don't get it because it doesn't work out that way. Lock him behind a steel door with two dozen walkers gaining on him, and have us only be able to listen to what's happening.

  5. I don't think you can compare the comics to the television show. It's a completely different medium. Just because the comics don't require flashbacks, doesn't mean the tv show doesn't either. Imagine season 2 if they had the freedom to explore the farm in two minute scenes before Rick and company showed up. The season wouldn't have felt as dragging as it did at points. It's a whole way to help tell a story that they shouldn't disregard because the comic books didn't do it.

  6. See, I disagree because I buy in to the Hitchcock belief of suspense over surprise. We've actually found ourselves complaining that there wasn't enough of a "OH FUCK!" moment at the end of some episodes, because TWD has gotten by with attracting an audience strictly on "HOLY SHIT THAT'S AWESOME! I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!". The show could use a bit more suspense, and I'm talking about drawn out palpable suspense. The coming episodes should have it as the war between the two sides get near. But I think flashbacks where we could see Tyrese not being able to save a child, and then in present times being asked to look after Carl, can really add some nice notes to the episodes. We now KNOW his history with children. We KNOW how it may affect him, and we're WAITING to see if we're right. That's what I think this show is missing out on.

  7. I don't know. On Tumblr and Facebook my friends who are a lot more in to the series posted stuff like "Fuck Moffat. Burn in hell." and I'm like... "Cause it was so good that you don't want to wait til February?" It's just one of those behind the scenes things that if you're a real fan you're supposed to hate Moffat. I think.

  8. I'm actually kind of really glad. I follow Mazzara on Twitter, and he's kind of an asshole to fans. Someone asked him if we would ever see a flashback to how the prison fell and his response was "Flashbacks are the dumbest thing ever. Why do idiots enjoy them?"

  9. I hate the argument "Deb is not a killer." therefore she shouldn't have shot Laguerta. This episode had the "survival of the fittest" theme to it, and Deb definitely is a character that comes off as a strong survivor. Not to mention ALL that she's been through. She's dated how many "bad" guys, and had how many ex's killed? Her brother who she's known for 40+ years is suddenly a serial killer who's motives she's begun to agree with and looked to as a reasonable solution. I look forward to next season because Laguerta's murder will probably be the straw that breaks the camel's back as far as Dexter remaining an unknown killer.

How do you guys want the series to end? Do you think Dexter NEEDS to be killed, or caught? At this time I could maybe see Deb, or someone else (Masuka, Angel) killing Dexter and staging his body to look like the work of the Bay Harbor Butcher. I'd love to see the scene where Masuka finds out who/what Dexter is.
