  1. I don't understand why you're all so impressed. "Oh hey I can borrow power from the city next door, JUST LIKE LAST YEAR". It honestly seems more like the same old shit to me.

The graphics and the simplicity of the game are what impressed me the most. It also seems to have a much better layout. Being able to choose upgrades to your buildings is great. The core of Simcity shouldn't change. It should remain "the same old shit" but improved upon, because that's what works for this series.

  2. So the big rumor is that AMC has held off on announcing season 4 because it's going to be a bigger deal than just a one season extension. AMC is supposedly taking a page out of FX's book from when they renewed Charlie Sheen's new show, and will be announcing The Walking Dead is renewed for several seasons at once. (Season 8 is the rumored number)

  3. I really think the right way to end the show is to have Dexter be caught, Miami Metro's crew to find out, and Dexter be sent to prison where he either sits quietly in a cell with Harry or realizes the opportunity prison presents... lots of people deserve to die in prison.

  4. My friends had the same question. I'm willing to write it off. The cabin itself was barricaded, so that shows that he was at one time smart enough and "in the know" to try and survive. Hunger, dehydration, fatigue could all lead to a state of confusion and paranoia like he showed.

  5. I say

Lee will turn after they get Clem back and Clem will put him down.

My feelings as well. I think Season 2 of the video game should have the player controlling Clem. An easy transition would be for Lee to turn and the controls to shift to Clem making the player have to shoot Lee.

  6. So..where does the black guy from the very first episode come in? The way he was featured so heavily in it, I figured he'd be back by the end of the first season, start of the 2nd at the latest...

Comic spoilers AND POSSIBLE TV show spoilers.

Rick is reunited with Morgan, who had been living with his son Duane in Rick's old neighborhood hopping house to house. Eventually they take up shelter in a cabin during the winter. Duane dies and becomes a walker. Morgan, rather than killing his son, leaves him to roam the cabin and leaves with Rick.

  7. That was intense. I couldn't even bring myself to get back on and see what people were saying. Hit me hard.

Every mother I know who watches the show had the same feelings. While I hated Lori for the majority of the series she negated all of that with her strength at the end. Kudos to the child actor who plays Carl for doing a very believable job as well. When Rick saw him and just broke down ("Oh no!") I just lost it. This series does has some really terrific acting.

Matzat, Carl is awesome. You are wrong.

  8. Where I can see the events proposed in this episode heading.

    1) Carol is alive, but will find the person who was watching her from the woods. That person was not Andrew in my opinion. The group will believe she is dead, until her lovely reunion with Darryl which will probably happen an episode before Darryl and Merle see each other for the first time.

    2) Rick will actually become distracted with the arrival of his new child. Possibly drop the ball or step aside, allowing Darryl to run things for a little while.

    3) Maggie's attachment to the baby will spell her doom. I can see the prison being overrun, either by walkers or Woodbury folk, and Maggie dying while trying to protect the baby to no avail. Hershel will probably sacrifice himself, pointlessly. Also, you can also replace Maggie with Beth for the same outcome.

  9. I refuse to watch any of these shows because I can't have my heart broken again the way Jericho's cancellation did. I stopped recording 666 Park Avenue every week, even though I enjoyed it, because the ratings are so bad its gonna get cancelled. I can't deal with goodbyes. :crying:

  10. I don't know how I feel about the new season. Something just felt off. This season seems to be about the horror of human beings and not about the paranormal. I think I liked the ghost story better. But it is just the first episode and I'm sure I won't stop watching.

  11. What an AMAZING season premiere! Holy crap!

I LOVED everything! The momentum carried over beautifully from the season finale last year. All those involved have said the season premiere is just the beginning of that and the momentum never stops, it just builds more and more. Herschel losing his leg is a nice wink to the comic and a good alternative to Rick losing his hand. I actually do hope that the amputation DOES safe him, just like the soldier in the original Day of the Dead film. Sort of gives a bit of "hope" to the survivors in a morbid way. The zombie SWAT team was a terrific touch. The removal of the SWAT members helmet/face was great! Just great. I loved it. GAHHHHH!

    :w00t:

  12. Regarding season two.

I hope the player character becomes Clementine. Seems like a natural choice with her developing her shooting skills and all. She'll probably be the one who puts down Lee which could provide a nice transition. She aims the gun at Lee, and the controls jump to Clementine for you to essentially shoot yourself.

  13. I love how the cops in this show change from stupid to smart in this show whenever the storyline needs it.

I bet in the end something will happen that will cause to ask Herr Dexter for a kill of someone. Or she dies. Or both.

This. The serial killer who had the cops digging around mentioned how he and his woman went on this killing spree and he never felt more alive, made them love each other more, etc. I could see Deb trying to cure Dexter all while Dexter is trying to discreetly convert Deb. I imagine Deb will catch a really heinous murderer and he'll get off on a technicality and she'll just turn to Dexter and be like "Do your thing."
