  1. I thought it's been alright so far, besides Peter Kay taking for-fucking-ever and then plugging his tour at the end of it all too.

Hilarious when Peter Andre was going round the call centre and stole a phone from an operator to say hi and the guy hung up on him. And he's performing later, oh goody.

  2. and England vs West Germany in 1966. >_>

I completely sympathise with the Irish team and would've absolutely loved them to get through. I don't blame them for trying to get the match replayed since it's all they can do at this point, but there's no way it's going to happen. Although hopefully if it leads to some kind of video ref (very unlikely) or the officials behind the goals who might've spotted that (much more likely), then it might not be wasted breath after all.

  3. It's been on the front page of The Star for literally the last two weeks, and if it's not the show, then it's Jordan, or Jordan and Alex, or Peter and Jordan, it's just ridiculous. Same with Hello and OK, with the exception of the Rooneys last week for their baby. And if it's not I'm A Celebrity, then it's fucking X-Factor. Ugh. Come back Big Brother, all is forgiven...

  4. Finally won another game against St. Mirren away from home after going out of the League Cup to fucking Raith Rovers via shootout. I didn't realise it went to extra time and used all my subs to try and win the game in 90 minutes, only to see it going to extra time and my left midfielder almost dying from exhaustion on the pitch come the end.

  5. I know, I probably should've. I was afraid they'd only give him a runout if anything, therefore I wouldn't get a clean sheet bonus if Liverpool kept one and only get 1 point for his appearance, whereas Hibbert had a decent chance at the clean sheet and playing the whole game, which would be meaningless if Johnson made an appearance at all.

Still, plenty time to regain the top spot. It could be worse, I could be Baddar. :D Only kiddin mate!

  6. So I managed a 1-0 win against St. Johnstone (they missed a last minute penalty) and a 1-1 draw against Kilmarnock only to be squashed 6-0 by Celtic (who had 3 disallowed goals as well) after my captain was sent off after 27 SECONDS. Needless to say the fans weren't too happy.

Brought in a few loan signings, I got James Collins from Aston Villa! (...the 18 year old reserve team striker, not the famous one :P), some midfielder from Man U and a defender from Hull. Had to sell two players to get enough for the loan fees and the wages though.

  7. Anyone else finding this game ridiculously hard? I am managing Chelsea, just to see what it is like and I actually hate it so far. Between stupid draws to lower teams, and late match winning goals.

Thank god, I thought it was just me. Playing as Hearts and I've played 2 league games (Dundee United and Rangers) and 2 Europa League qualifiers (home/away against Galatasaray), conceded 12, scored 1. And that was in the final minute of the second leg against Galatasaray so it was useless! I've tinkered with the tactics, played 5 in midfield to beef it up a bit but still nothing. Maybe I've just inherited a terrible team. :P

  8. Ah crap. :(

What sucks is that everywhere I read it was saying "Glen Johnson's definitely injured, calf problem, no chance he'll play", so I stick Hibbert in and Johnson on the bench because Hibbert hasn't been playing of late and my only other full back is Andy Griffin who had about as much chance of playing as me. And then Johnson winds up playing!

Basically if I'd switched Johnson and Hibbert then I would've gotten a draw since Johnson didn't score any own goals. >_>

  9. I'm still refusing to watch this until the twins are out. There's cheesy and entertaining and then there's just plain fucking atrocious. I've only ever seen their opening audition and the Britney Spears song, and that was more than enough for me.
