Wouldn't have thought Kompany to be the guy to make the error, mind. Always seemed very calm and confident, their stand out player from last year.
Clichy was also at fault, which was not surprising.

Is Luther on BBC any good? It has Idris Elba in it which is enough to make me interested but I haven't really watched any BBC drama's in a long time.
Nope.
If you wanted a BBC drama you should have watched The Shadow Line. It wasn't great, all told, but it was a lot more interesting and original than Luther. Unfortunately I doubt it's still up on iPlayer.
I really hated the Shadow Line. Pretentious in a 'its really long and nothings happening, so it must be good' way. I actually gave up at one point simply because of the BBC's rubbish scheduling meaning I Sky+'d half an hour of Mock the Week and missed half an episode, but I've really no desire to iPlayer it because frankly I don't even care how it ended.
It was all about
pensions.
No, seriously.

He's done that at every team he's managed, but every team he's managed has had shit strikers and a (relatively) good defence, so he had to plau like that really.
But you say that like the quality of strikers was completely outside of his control. He's had time and money at Birmingham to fix it. Only City and Chelsea had a bigger net spend than Birmingham last year.

Only seen Intacto, but I would second the recommendation.

Top 10 Things You Need To Know About David De Gea
I'm pretty stoked about De Gea. If he fulfills his potential, we could have that position sewn up for the next 15 years. Glad we took a chance on him rather than going for a "safer" signing.

Downloading the Mac version now, I'd be up for a game if I can get it to work.

I was expecting Outcasts to be shite, given that it's on BBC 1 at 9pm, but I don't think I expected quite so much exposition and quite so little subtlety.

That promo clip there is so much better than the Episodes pilot. I'll watch the second episode, just because pilots are rarely a fair reflection of the show and to see what LeBlanc is like, but I don't have high hopes.

Anyone watch Penn and Teller: Fool Us on ITV?

A good run-in for Arsenal would consist of playing against the better teams. It's against the backs-to-the-wall tough teams like Wigan that they struggle.
That's a cliche, and not a very accurate one. They've dropped points against Spurs, Sunderland, Chelsea and United - all in the top 6.
West Brom aren't exactly a "back to the wall" team either.

Pulis is a fucking child. What a twat.

For United I think it's probably dependent on who's available. Given Valencia's injury and Park's absence for the Asian Cup we could probably do with a winger to partner Nani regularly. Not expecting Bale, but if someone became available (Henderson, maybe Pienaar) I could see them coming in. Either that or Welbeck back off loan.
I'd expect the bigger signings - goalkeeper, defensive midfielder - to happen in the summer, but again it depends on if someone becomes available.

Radio 1 just reported that the new owners will be happy if Allardyce can manage top 12. He must be shitting it, thats his 'anything above 17th' policy out the window...
Sam Allardyce is a world class manager who would win the league every single year with Manchester United or Real Madrid, so if anyone can do it...

I don't want this to sound like I'm making excuses for Clattenburg, but presumably a referee is entitled to allow play to continue after a handball if he feels the team will benefit from it, as with a foul?
-
Nani goes down, grabs the ball in with his hands looking for the penalty, stopping play. Gomes grabs it to place it to take a freekick. Nani runs up behind him and slots it passed him, runs off with his tongue out as if he'd scored a 40 yard screamer....Linesman's flag goes up.
A freekick that the referee hadn't given, which is why he allowed the goal to stand.

I hope I'm not the only one who completely missed Abed's storyline in Community this week. Had to go back and rewatch the episode.

The Event pilot was horrible. It (and the FlashForward pilot before it) make me appreciate how good the pilot for Lost really was.

What the fuck happened there? Fucking useless cunts should go die in a fire. Gongrats on retaining, Chelsea.
How the fuck does drawing against EVERTON AWAY induce this kind of reaction? Example #254 why I hate pretty much every United fan I've met.
United were 3-1 up after 90 minutes.

Actually he said he would never return to Manchester once his contract expired.
