    - Add a stable/tag-team called Decay consisting of Rosemary and Crazzy Steve.

    - Eric Young, Joe Doering and Cody Deaner's Stable Name is Violent By Design.

    - Set the Deaners to inactive unit.

    - Add a tag team unit of Jessicka Havok and Neveah.

    - The New Knockouts tag-team champions are Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz.

    - Add a stable of Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers to Impact and AEW as Bullet Club. Add Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson to AEW on handshake deal, Heel, started Jan 2021.

    - Add Matt Cardona to Impact as a Babyface. Broski, Swagger gimmick. I'd make a handshake deal for now.

    - Set Moose's written deal to expire in 2 Years, Don Callis stated he's signed a new to year deal on the PPV.

    - I would add a working agreement between Impact and NJPW. Christ Bey has worked the Super J Cup recently and Omega/Gallows/Anderson stable have openly called themselves Bullet Club and event worn the logos and gear at HDK - I think Scott D'Amore has finally talked them round into forgetting the 2010 Okada stuff.

  3. So it appears there is a shakeup in commentary at Impact as per the below statement, Madison Rayne will "discuss her future" at Hard to Kill so assuming she is going to be retiring as was indicated in the sheets or shes coming back in an in ring capacity. Josh is now behind the scenes.

Set Matt Striker to Announcer and D'Lo Brown to announcer and colour commentator and company main announcers.

Set Josh Matthews to Road Agent/Personality

Add a deal to show events with Vubiquity, noticed they are another carrier of impact ppvs on the press release.

And we'll have to wait till Sunday to see what Madisons status will be.

    Spoiler

Award-winning Wrestling Announcer Joins With Longtime Wrestler For New IMPACT Wrestling Broadcast Team

News / January 13, 2021 / by IMPACT Wrestling Staff

Josh Mathews Has Been Promoted To Behind-The-Camera Position; Updates On Madison Rayne Forthcoming

IMPACT Wrestling confirmed today that a new broadcast team will start on Saturday, Jan. 16, at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view, which will originate from Nashville, Tennessee.

Matt Striker will be IMPACT’s new play-by-play announcer, while D’Lo Brown will handle color commentary duties. The two also will be the announce team for the flagship weekly TV show, Impact!, airing every Tuesday from 8-10 p.m. ET, on AXS TV.

Josh Mathews, meanwhile, has been promoted to Senior Producer for the weekly TV show and all pay-per-views, and he also signed a new, multi-year contract with the company.  Madison Rayne, a 5-time Knockouts Champion who provided color commentary for most of 2020, will discuss her wrestling future this weekend at Hard To Kill.

“My play-by-play career has spanned nearly 20 years – from WrestleMania to Bound For Glory to incredible moments from IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV,” Mathews said. “Producing will allow me to have a bigger role in the overall production of our weekly show, PPVs and IMPACT+ Specials.

“This transition has been a great process, Matt and D’Lo are bringing a fresh energy and are ready to go.  It was a special year in 2020, and both Madison Rayne and I will always be grateful for the opportunity and look forward to these exciting changes.”

Striker, a former high school teacher, transitioned from wrestler to wrestling broadcaster for the WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. He is a past winner of the Best Television Announcer Award, presented annually by the Wrestling Observer.

“I’ve always loved professional wrestling. It is a love that unites so many people,” Striker said. “Pro wrestling is a sport and I want to be mindful to call it as such. I’ve learned and grown so much since I began, and I thank the fans – and the critics – for that.

“It is not lost on me the opportunity that is before me – I can once again lend my voice to the sport that I love. In doing so, I’m poised to describe, analyze, and witness the most advanced athletes the sport has ever seen. I am excited, nervous, thankful, and humbled. I cannot wait to get out there. You will always be able hear the fan in me.”

Brown had an illustrious in-ring career with multiple singles and tag-team championships in numerous promotions worldwide, including the WWF European Championship (4 times), the
WWF Intercontinental Championship and the NWA World Tag Team Championship (with Gran Apolo).

“I’m very excited to join the IMPACT Wrestling broadcast booth and I know working alongside Matt Striker will be a lot of fun,” Brown said. “I believe in IMPACT Wrestling, with its amazing roster of skilled Superstars and Knockouts – and can’t wait to have the best seat in the house to call all the action.

“I’m humbled to follow the IMPACT broadcasting path of Don West and Mike Tenay, and most recently Don Callis, Madison Rayne and certainly Josh Mathews.  I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity.  I know there are big shoes to fill, but Striker and I will do our best.”

Striker and Brown will be ringside for the Hard To Kill pay-per-view, featuring one of the most-anticipated main event matches ever.  AEW World Champion Kenny Omega joins forces with IMPACT Tag Team Champions, The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson), to face the reigning IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann and the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley).

Deonna Purrazzo puts the Knockouts Championship on the line at Hard To Kill against Taya Valkyrie, while a three-way battle for the X-Division Championship pits Rohit Raju vs. Chris Bey vs. reigning champion Manik.

HARD TO KILL will be available on Pay-Per-View in North America on Saturday, January 16 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on InDemand, DISH, DirecTV, Vubiquity, Rogers, Bell, Shaw, Sasktel. It will be available around the world digitally via FITE TV (pre-order NOW).

    - Remove AJ Kirsch from MLW, hes announced hes a free agent now. Made an appearance on AEW Dark under the Joe Brody gimmick, so add him to AEW on a handshake deal. https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2021/01/aj-kirsch-announces-he-no-longer-with-mlw-679993/

    - Add Gregory Shane Helms to WWE as a producer/ road agent under a written deal.

  4. 6 minutes ago, TheWho87 said:

Please don't let Ashley Lane become the next Reno SCUM/James Mitchell, where every other month you suggest removing them and adding them back. If she's at the next PPV, I'll add her back.

    As for Rhino,

    https://www.cagematch.net/?id=2&nr=410&view=&page=4&gimmick=&year=&promotion=&region=Europa&location=&arena=&showtype=&constellationType=&worker=

But then again, for any promotion not running right now, you could viable axe half the roster.

LOL Hey im just reporting it as it happens. RENO and Mitchell left and then they came back. Impacts roster is a lot more volatile these days. She is still on the roster page on the website but yeah best waiting to see what Hard to Kill brings.

As for Rhino, one match in a year and given the pandemic highly unlikely he'll be back across the water, i'm removing it from mine, just personal preference I like it to be as real to life lol it would bug me if I left it.

Speaking of which - owners of impact being set to anthem and ROH being sinclair - any thoughts of revisiting that? I know it limits options for those promotions with regards broadcasting deals but isn't that true to life? They both insist on airing their shows in USA/CANADA on their respective owners channels.

  5. - Update Don Callis' Impact Gimmick to "Hidden Hand", Weasly/Underdog, Very Good, New. And tick Manager.

    - Add Don Callis to AEW on a handshake deal and set as Kenny Omega's manager.  Manager and Colour Commentator ticked only.

    - Add Kenny Omega to Impact Wrestling on an ongoing handshake deal.  Contract Began Dec 2020. Gimmick -- Heel, Cocky, Swagger, Very Good, Established. Manager Don Callis.  Also change him to a Heel in AEW.

    - Add Ashley Lane to Impact Wrestling as Madison Rayne, set to Colour Commentry and Road Agent. Written Deal, began Nov 2017. Heel, Gimmick = Queen Bee, Swagger, Established. And set to default announcer with Josh Mathews. (There were news reports in the sheets she had left the business altogether, but clearly not as she commentated on genesis last night.)

    - Set Cody Deaner to a Heel last turn recent. He's part of Eric Youngs stable now with Joe Doering not sure if they have a name though yet.

    - Remove Ethan Page, his contract expired Dec 31st and he's now a free agent. He's also shut his online store, assuming thats a sign hes WWE/NXT bound.

    - Add Blake Christian to Impact on a Handshake per show deal, began Jan 2021, ongoing. Babyface, traditional/standard gimmick

    - Add KC Navarro to Impact on a Handshake per show deal, began Jan 2021, ongoing. Heel, Cocky, Swagger gimmick. He also needs a photo.

    - Remove Alex Shelley from ROH he hasnt worked there for a year. He worked GCW and BLP in October if you want to add those alongside existing agreements with Impact and AIW, all handshake deals.

    - Remove Rhino from RPW-UK, i cant find any record of him working there in 2020/2019 on cagematch unless im missing something. Alongside Impact he has been working JCW events in Michigan here and there.

    - Remove Tasha Steelz from NWA, she made her final appearance there in may 2020

    - Add Bill Goldberg to WWE under a written deal. Expires in 2 Years as it covers to end of 2022. Hes contracted for two appearances per year, so thats 4 remaining appearances to be set if now, if in feb update - id assume RR will count as one so 3.

  6. Impact Updates

    - Remove Madison Rayne (and set to left the business) and Jake Crist from the impact wrestling roster.

    Spoiler

    Madison Rayne

Rayne, who has been doing color commentary on Impact this year, will be leaving, likely effective immediately, to take an undisclosed full-time job outside of the wrestling industry, according to PWInsider.

No word on who will replace Rayne on commentary, but Matt Striker did commentary on Impact a few weeks ago.

Impact’s next two episodes will be year-end review shows, so their next episode with new material will be on January 5.

    Jake Crist

Jake Crist, whose contract was set to expire at the end of the year, announced that he’s officially a free agent and has been let out of his Impact contract.

    • add them in as Cable Free to Air and Tiny for all of the British Isles. Begins September 2017, Company Size Tiny, min pop 35, 1 region, amateur production and broadcast + small time music, 1 company 1 slot.

    09/12 Update

    • Add Fit Finlay back to WWE as a road agent, he returned in November.
    • The Broadcaster MTS should be renamed Bell MTS and under the owernship of media group Bell Media
    • TNT Serie should have owning media group as Time Warner.
    • Add Matt Striker to the Impact Wrestling Roster, he's currently working as a producer and also Commentating on Xplosion with Don Callis - so edit Xplosions announce team also.
    • Eric Young is the Impact World Champion.

    • Would it be worth changing impact wrestling’s base location back to South East USA? I know their a Canadian owned company now but they tape the majority of their shows in the US still in fact mostly currently at skyway studios in Nashville. Which if not already in the database would need added.  It’s a tv production studios in Nashville,TN. I’d say all the stats would be same as Universal Soundstage other than attendance/capacity as the sound stages look smaller I’d cap it at 600 max. It was opened in 1949 originally as a drive in Theater.

  8. Since your updating the database, heres some Impact Wrestling cleanup -

    Remove --

    - Father James Mitchell -- They killed him off in storyline a while ago, dont see them re-using him anytime soon.

    - Mike Posey - Referee who hasn't worked there in a while. Brandon Tolle confirmed on twitter the current referees are just him and a new guy from OVW called Daniel Spencer. The other ref currently with them in your DB is Harry Demerjian, they seem to use them each time they run a show in Canada but its been a while so id probably leave him on the roster as PPA anyway.

    - Glenn Gilbertti - Disco hasnt worked a show for them in a good while now, he tends to be a one shot sort of thing like Shark Boy etc, remove him.

    - Jade Chung - I dont recall Jade competing with Impact? I could be wrong. Perhaps she's added as she presents the twitch stream with her husband Josh Alexander? if thats the case them ignore and keep her on there.

    Add

    - Daniel Spencer - Referee from Louisville, KY. Copy the stats of Mike Posey or Brandon Tolle. Age and Debut dates etc here https://ovwrestling.com/about-us/announcing-management-team/daniel-spencer/

    - Caleb Konley under the Suicide gimmick - hes been performing under the hood on the weekly tv's for a while now.

Set the Broadcaster Frontrunner to closed. It folded in January 2020 and is no longer broadcasting.

    https://www.f4wonline.com/mlw-news/m...al-dazn-312911
Add a broadcast deal for MLW Fusion and DAZN - On Demand, 20% to Co, Min Quality 33

Remove the broadcasting deal between Impact and Ran Fighting, that deal has expired and they no longer air on there.

Not sure if your planning to add indian broadcasters but if so add a broadcasting deal between Impact and Sony Ten 2 - it airs on Sundays at 3pm there.

I was looking to update/upgrad my broadcasters and in doing so has moved over to a different style, simple plain basic logos, I'm also naming them with the year the logo as used to be helpful when doing historical mods or if anyone else wishes to use them.

Here is a small preview with a general cross section of image styles.

    XirZbr5.jpg

So this is just excellent who. I like the simpler logos they really pop, find the grey backgrounds almost take away from some of the cool logos and their brand colours etc, this looks really sleak. I know it’s a lot of work doing these so kudos, would love to see the promotion logos go this way eventually too.

  10. Spoiler

MLW announced that they have signed a deal with sports streaming service DAZN.

Several MLW Fusion episodes are now available on DAZN and the service may also stream live MLW PPVs in the future, according to PWInsider.

DAZN is $19.99 a month and also features Bellator MMA, boxing and other sports programming. MLW is the first wrestling programming on the service in the US.

MLW’s weekly Fusion show will still air on beIN Sports on Saturdays, so this deal is not a replacement for that. However, MLW will eventually stop releasing Fusion for free on YouTube in the future, PWInsider says.

MLW was also in negotiations with ESPN to bring programming to the channel, PWInsider says. Those negotiations began in January 2020, but there’s no word on where things stand now. MLW had also been in talks with Showtime and Amazon Prime.

    New Broadcasting deal for MLW

  11. https://411mania.com/wrestling/aew-uk-ppv-home-itv-box-office-shuts-down-operations/

ITV Box office has been shuttered. Close it and remove PPV Events deal with AEW.

No confirmation where AEW PPVs are going to air in the UK, if at all in the future. Likely Fite TV app.

    https://411mania.com/wrestling/impact-wrestling-announces-date-for-rebellion-in-april/

Rebellion seems to have become an annual staple for Impact and one of their main ppv's. Should be added to april instead of ONO PPV and hopefully the logo can be added to the pic pack. thanks.
