Move Buddy Murphy & Mark Andrews (hire Mark Andrews to WWE period lol) from NXT to Raw (205 Live)

Just on this topic of 205 live - is there any reason why the third company brand is not used for 205 Live? Wouldnt that mean a more accurate portrayal of 205 live with it limited to only the cruiserweights on that roster as opposed to now where its just set as a B show on which anyone can appear - or am i missing something and theres some reason behind this?

  2. Impact Wrestling Changes

    - Remove Alberto El Patron from Impact Wrestling. He has been released after no showing the Impact vs Lucha Underground Wrestlecon show. Given his penchant for no showing is it possible to edit his personality in anyway to reflect this?

    - Add Pentagon Jr. and Fenix to Impact Wrestling (gimmick and heel/face settings same as Lucha Underground). They worked the Wrestlecon show and are now main eventing the Redemption PPV with Austin Aries in a three way for the World Title.

    - Change referee Kris Levin 's name in Impact Wrestling to Ref Riley

    - Change Josh Mathews based in location to Great Lakes (USA). He mentioned on Impacts Twitch stream that he and Madison Rayne sold their house in Nashville recently and moved to Ohio nearer her family.

  3. - Austin Aries is the new Impact Wrestling Grand Champion, defeating Matt Sydal on this weeks Impact in a title vs title bout.

    - Retire the Impact Grand Championship. Don Callis talked about the Grand title at the time of this taping and stated his belief that the title and the rounds system was sub optimal and the title never should have been, he confirmed it is now retired. So update the title history with Sydal and Aries’ reigns and set the title to retired.

  4. - remove garza jr from impact and add him and his cousin ultimo ninja to wwe developmental contracts. https://411mania.com/wrestling/garza-jr-ultimo-ninja-undergoing-wwe-medicals/

    - set Daniel Bryan’s contract to expire in 6 months. https://411mania.com/wrestling/daniel-bryan-reveals-wwe-contract-ends/

    - is it worth activating MLW now that they are back and announcing a tv deal? https://411mania.com/wrestling/possible-name-revealed-mlw-upcoming-tv-show/

  5.  - Remove Taiji Ishimori from NOAH, hes announced he's leavinghttp://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2018/0312/637825/taiji-ishimori-announces-he-leaving-pro-wrestling-noah/

Not sure how this affects his status with Impact since he came across as part of the talent exchange with NOAH. I would expect given they had him drop the x title to Sydal at the last tapings that hes also finished up with Impact but on the recent impact teleconference Josh Mathews was asked the question directly and stated he didnt know how or if it affected his status with impact so i take it there has been no official decision to remove him from the impact roster as yet so keep him on there for now until we hear more i guess.

    - Set Joseph Park back to his Abyss gimmick (babyface) with James Mitchell (Babyface) as his manager. James Mitchell returned and brought back Abyss this week to answer the challenge of Jimmy Jacobs and Kongo Kong with a match set for next week.

  6. Spoiler tags added.

Also a small update since i had the pleasure of meeting So Cal Val at a recent 5 Star Wrestling TV taping.

    • Remove her from SHINE
    • Add to 5SW as an Announcer or Personality (she does the backstage and in-ring interviews)
    • Val has also done some work with WAW and Bellatrix of late but not sure they are active in the database.
    • Set British Isles as an Active area
    • Set her "Based in" as SOUTH BRITISH ISLES as she is living in the Milton Keynes area these days.

It looks to me that Impact nowadays have a core roster and bring in some local talent/working agreement talent for the tapings in Florida and Ontario. Since those talents are only in for one taping I don't think they should be added to the permanent Impact Roster. "Talent Trade" and "Hire Local" are in the game to bring in talent for those kind of appearances. It is exactly how Impact operates in 2018. If wrestlers appear on more than one taping (November & January for example) they should be added.

This is a fair assessment, their roster has been a lot more fluid these days with a core roster the constant. Might be better now just sticking to the roster page - http://impactwrestling.com/roster/ for the core roster and players can use the WAG's and Hire Local options as Thug has stated. That being said, drop the following non-regulars then from the roster -

    • Kaito Kiyomiya, Amber Nova, Jon Bolen, Mathieu St.Jacques, Thomas Dubois, Mike Monroe, TC Read, RJ City, Tyson Dux

    Few more Impact Wrestling updates:

    • Add Marc Harris (https://twitter.com/OfficialRefMarc) as a referee. He returned and worked the most recent tapings in Orlando have confirmed on twitter will do at next set also. Rest of the refs are still being used aswell.
    • Add a working agreement between Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground - their using a lot of the same talents lately and have just announced a joint Impact Wrestling vs Lucha underground event at this years WrestleCon which will be streamed on twitch.
    • Speaking of which, in addition to the monthly ONO/PPV, impact are recording a twitch exclusive event each month now it seems. Would it be worthwhile adding an additional monthly event or leave this to the player to implement?
    • Change Alberto El Patron's gimmick to "Troublemaker (Cocky)" - his gimmick of late is that of someone who has felt wrong and betrayed by the company and other wrestlers in the title scene and is set out to wreck things for everyone else until he gets his title back.
    • Alberto's contract expires in April according to PWInsider, although there are negotiations ongoing. Set his contract to expire in 1 month.
    • Remove Alberto El Patron from CWH - he wrestled there on a one off back in September and hasn't since.
    • Eli Drake revealed in a recent interview that his deal with the company expires 31st May. Set his contract to expire in 3 months.

Reminder on the title changes for next month in line with tv air dates. These two happen on next week's episode so should be updated for the next months update. There will be another but i don't believe that will air until April. -

    Spoiler

    • Allie is the new Knockout's Champion
    • Remove Laurel Van Ness from Impact Wrestling now that the title has been dropped as it was recently revealed she has been granted her release.
    • Matt Sydal is the new X-Division Champion.

  8. - Add Jessie Godderz, Hernandez, Chavo Guerrero, Tommy Dreamer, Sammy Guevara, Jason Cade and Sonny Kiss to Lucha Underground.

    Spoiler

Season four of Lucha Underground began filming this weekend in Los Angeles and the first taping included surprise debuts, returns and an update on Dario Cueto … sorta.

    SPOILER WARNING

Sources tell us there was an Aztec Warfare match at the taping which featured Lucha Underground debuts for Tommy Dreamer and former Impact Wrestling star Mr. Pectacular.

In addition, Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero returned to the company and wrestled in the match as well. For those who don’t recall, Hernandez was released from LU in 2015 after he appeared on Impact while still under contract with Lucha Underground.

Independent wrestlers Sammy Guevara, Jason Cade and Sonny Kiss also wrestled at the taping.

For those wondering about the fate Dario Cueto after he was shot at the end of the season three, our sources say the taping kicked off with a ten-bell salute for the Lucha Underground character. However, the ceremony was interrupted by his “father” Antonio Cueto — who was clearly Dario in professional old-man makeup — and he announced the Aztec Warfare match.

We’re told the segment was confusing for most people in attendance, because no one was sure if the actor is just playing a new character in season four or if he’ll be revealed as Dario in the future.

  9. - Add Teddy Hart to Impact Wrestling on a PPA deal. Babyface, Showstealer (Cocky). He appeared on the other nights "Brace for Impact" twitch special, and it was announced on there he makes his official return to Impact on the upcoming Wrestlecon show. - https://www.twitch.tv/videos/227483397

    - Set Sonjay Dutt to Colour Commentator sometimes and Road Agent sometimes. Whilst out injured he's currently performing both duties.

    - Set the Impact Commentary team as Josh Mathews as Announcer and Sonjay Dutt as Colour Commentator. They debuted this new team this week on impact and its planned to continue with this team for the next while until permanent replacements are agreed. They also went with Josh Mathews and Scott D'Amore on the Brace for Impact special so maybe set the PPV announce team as that.

    - Add Tenille Dashwood to ROH, she debuted the other night.

    - Add Rey Mysterio to NJPW he will be facing Jushin liger on the upcoming US tour.

    - Add Strong Friendships between Don Callis/Kevin Kelly, Don Callis/Chris Jericho and a Loyalty relationship between Don Callis and Kenny Omega.

Don and Kevin have a friendship going back to WWF days, Don has a close relationship with both Omega and Jericho which was a huge factor in their NJPW match happening, Omega regularly cites Don as a mentor who saw something in him when noone else did. Jericho recently went to bat for Don and Scott D'Amore, calling Ed Nordholm personally to recommend them for the executive positions at Impact.

  10. Not at my computer at the moment to check the database but just reference regarding IMPACT Wrestling’s current PPV status.

    - They currently now run only 3 pay per views a year - Redemption in April, Slammiversary in June and Bound for Glory in October.

    - The One Night Only events now air exclusively on the Global Wrestling Network.

    - Additional specials will air on Twitch from co-promoted live events around the country.

Not sure how you could set it up so AI will follow those rules instead of just popping them all on direct tv as I believe they will but as long as there’s also broadcast agreements in place for events on Twitch and GWN (as well as on demand) then that should be as accurate as we could get.

    Some contract updates

    - Set the Young Bucks NJPW contracts to expire in January 2019. (9 Months)

    - Big Shows WWE contract expires in February ie this month. I suppose there’d be a non-compete there, as well as his rehab but set it to expire in 3 months.

    - Miz just signed a 4 year contract extension with WWE. Set it to expire in 4 years.

  11. Impact Wrestling Updates

    - Austin Aries is now the Champion, he defeated Eli Drake on last nights Impact broadcast.

    - Rename the Impact Global Heavyweight title to Impact World Championship - they are now referring to it as that and Austin Aries stated in his twitter post after winning that his first decree is to remove the word heavyweight from the titles name -

    - Re-Add Chandler Park (Ethan Page) as a Babyface with Lawyer (Comedy) gimmick. It was believed he was gone due to not being part of the recent tapings but he has since been re-added to the roster on the impact site and has been promoting the show on twitter, his return is expected at the upcoming Redemption PPV in Toronto.

    - Remove the working agreement between Impact and Crash, it has ended with Konnan's abrupt departure from Crash.

    - Remove Ava Storie / Brandi Lauren, she hasn't been used in the last tapings and impact have moved her to the alumni section on their website.

    - Remove Brent Banks, Phil Atlas and Hannibal, they made enhancement appearances for them during the ottawa tapings but looks like it was a one shot deal as they haven't been used since.

    - Add a working agreement between Impact and Smash Wrestling. Smash now air on the Anthem owned GWN and impact talents like Allie, Rosemary etc have been working smash events whilst Tyson Dux and co have worked impact tapings.

    - Remove Dutch Mantel, his contract expired in January and was not renewed.

    - Remove El Texano Jr., Pagano and Hector Guerrero. They both made appearances as part of the AAA vs Impact storyline at the tail end of the year but  their loan periods have expired and they haven't been booked since.

    - Remove Laurel Van Ness she has asked for her release and it has been granted.

    - Remove Mario Bokara, he hasn't been used in the recent tapings and has been moved to the alumni section of the impact site.

Also if you have time and logos, heres some decently sized promotions that aren't in the game and should at least be added but not active if possible -

    - Future Stars of Wrestling

    - Rocky Mountain Pro

    - AML Wrestling

    - Superkick'd

    - Wrestlecade

    - World Wrestling Allstars (Yes the same one from 2002. Australian promoter by name of Wade Brewer has purchased the trademarks and video library and is planning an Australian tour later this year. They have a deal with Highspots airing the old PPV's.)

  12. As promised some new cuts for updated Impact logos for adding to the game WHO, as the current ones in game are pretty old.

    - New IMPACT promotion and TV Show logo

    iclr83.jpg

    - Bound For Glory Logo

    1z5nfpj.jpg

    - Slammiversary Logo

    2nlxwmu.jpg

    - Xplosion Logo

    mkJUsgH.jpg

    - Victory Road ONO logo

    34qv8y1.jpg

I wasnt able to cut the logo for the upcoming pay per view Redemption, set to take place on April 22nd in Toronto. The only image out at the minute is the one below and it was difficult to cut and didnt come out well so just maybe give it the ONO logo for now until we get a good image released for it.

  13. Add new stable to Impact Wrestling called Desi Hit Squad.

Membership details below. As of right now i can only find Rohit Raju (Hakim Zane) and Gursinder Singh (Tony Cage) in the game so the other two members and the manager Gama Singh will likely need added to the DB, not sure about stats tbh as ive never seen them wrestle before.

  14. I think it would be worthwhile adding 5 Star Wrestling and the Freesports TV channel to the database. Given the new TV deal and tour their certainly in a better position than any other british promotion i can think of at the moment.

5 Star started in 2015 by a guy called Dan Hinkles who was behind the 5 Star Wrestling games on the playstation. They started promoting a few events but recently seem to be going gung ho with it and are making waves in the UK. They had a big live tv special on Spike TV (UK) a year or so ago under the name "Dominant Wrestling". But they've announced a 10 date UK tour and signed a three year tv deal with Freesports to air a 3hour show (i suspect each tour event) each week live as well as a 1hr catch-up show on saturdays.

THREE YEAR TV DEAL IS ‘THE OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME’

128 MAN TOURNAMENT STILL ON CARDS

5 STAR WRESTLING WILL HAVE FIVE DIFFERENT TITLES

    BIG PLANS FOR WOMEN’S DIVISION

LONDON, GLASGOW and LEICESTER ON LIST FOR LIVE EVENTS

    HAGER TO CHALLENGE MORRISON-RVD WINNER?

The creator of 5 Star Wrestling says the three-year deal between his company and TV channel FreeSports is “the opportunity of a lifetime”.

Dan Hinkles was speaking during a Facebook Q&A with the fans of 5 Star Wrestling on Sunday night.

Mr Hinkles said the deal with FreeSports lasts until 2020, during which time 5 Star Wrestling will become the FIRST UK wrestling promotion to air a weekly live TV series on a UK channel available to most homes in the country - and on prime time.

As part of the historic weekly live 5 Star Wrestling series he also still plans to host the world’s biggest ever wrestling tournament with 128 competitors – as announced during last year’s live TV special from Dundee Ice Arena. He revealed the news when asked if 5 Star Wrestling planned to focus on British talent as well as American names.

“Right now, Liverpool (on February 1) has a roster of around 30 (wrestlers) booked and 10 of those are coming in from various parts in the world, where as the other 20 are from here in the UK," he said.

“That said, we fully plan on running that 128 man tournament that we talked about and when that happens, obviously we'll be pulling in a lot more stars from around the globe.

Responding to questions from the fans, Mr Hinkles also revealed there are currently five different 5 Star Wrestling championship belts in production.

These include a new version of John Morrison’s 5 Star Championship as well as four other titles still to be revealed.

“We plan on doing things a little differently to most companies,” said Mr Hinkles.

“These aren't world titles, these aren't weight class titles, they aren't country based. We think all of those concepts are outdated and some of them do more harm than good because of how they have been abused over the years.”

Morrison will defend the 5 Star Championship when 5 Star Wrestling LIVE on FreeSports kicks off at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Thursday February 1, LIVE from 7pm to 10pm on UK television. His opponent will be the incomparable master of the Five Star Frog Splash, Rob Van Dam.

“It's going to be an incredible match,” said Mr Hinkles.

“John has been the 5 Star Champion for two years and one day. He's beaten AJ Styles, Carlito, PJ Black and even defended the title in a one night tournament pinning Drew Galloway, Moose and Rey Mysterio. But is there a wrestler in the world more synonymous with 5 Star, than Rob Van Dam?

Hinkles also hinted that Jake Hager, who made a huge impact at last week’s press conference to launch 5 Star Wrestling LIVE on FreeSports, may decide to challenge the winner of the Morrison-RVD clash.

When asked if 5 Star Wrestling plans to introduce a women’s division, Mr Hinkles answered in the affirmative.

“We have big plans for a women's division in 5 Star Wrestling but it something we are being extra careful with because we want it to be incredible.

“So right now, we have our people on the lookout for the absolute best female wrestlers in the world. There won't be many women on the early shows but by the middle of 2018, we'll be launching something special. “

Mr Hinkles was also asked if 5 Star Wrestling will work with other UK wrestling promotions.

"It has never been our goal to be competitors of any wrestling promotion,” he said.

“We've worked with dozens of companies over the years and we will continue to do so as we grow. For example on Friday night BLW had Belfast's Adam Maxted giving a podcast and one of the topics of that show was Adam's upcoming match up with Rey Mysterio and how big the opportunity is for him, given that it's not only at the big arena in his home town but also LIVE on TV. They plugged our shows and here we are plugging their podcast. Rising tides lifts all boats and believe me... the tides are rising!”

5 Star Wrestling has already announced 12 dates for the live weekly TV series and arena tour and Hinkles said he has venues in London, Glasgow and Leicester in his sights too.

“We want to run shows EVERYWHERE and right now we're looking for the right venues across the country to do that.

“We've just announced a show in Plymouth and there's a show in Birmingham too. Hopefully we'll get a good London venue soon.

He also said 5 Star Wrestling events will be aired live on social media as well as FreeSports.

Mr Hinkles also spoke about the history of 5 Star Wrestling.

“In 2010, we started a company to make wrestling games. We launched a game called Wrestling Manager where the player would become a wrestling promoter.

“They would put on shows, hire rosters, sign TV deals, etc. Then we released a game called 5 Star Wrestling on the PlayStation 3 followed by 5 Star Wrestling: ReGenesis on the PlayStation 4. This Facebook page was originally set up as a fan page for the video game series.

“Over time, we started running our own shows. We did a show in Edinburgh back in 2015, followed by an arena tour in 2016, then we made history in 2017 by becoming the first British wrestling promoters to broadcast a LIVE wrestling event on national TV. Now we're launching a LIVE TV series, that will run EVERY week, starting February 1st on FreeSports.

“So... 5 Star Wrestling is a newish promotion... you're pretty much finding us right at the beginning of our journey, but equally, we've been making products for wrestling fans for almost a decade.

    Kind Regards
    5 Star Wrestling

They should be set as a touring company with touring months FEB, MAR, APR, MAY - i'd put their popularity somewhere similar or between Defiant/WCPW and ICW. They book a lot of US name talent, especially ex-WWE and mix that with a few local talents, all on PPA deals of course. Their roster is below:

The full 5 Star Wrestling roster* is as follows:

5 Star Champion John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam, Jake Hager, Adam ‘Flex’ Maxted, ‘The Masterpiece’ Chris Masters, Carlito, PJ Black, Moose, ‘The English Lion’ Eddie Ryan, ‘Liverpool’s Number 1’ Zack Gibson, Rampage Brown, El Ligero, Dave Mastiff, Big Grizzly, ‘The Professional’ Nathan Cruz, Charlie Sterling, Jack Jester, Kid Fite, Lou King Sharp, The Australian Pop-Punk Powerhouse Joey Axl, Brian Cage, ‘The Phoenix’ Jody Fleisch, Mark Haskins, Flash Morgan Webster, BT Gunn, The Primate, Deviation and Tor Atterhagen.

The Freesports channel (https://www.freesports.tv) is available on freeview (free to air/no subscription required) so has potential for big audience but it is a new channel and so relatively unknown, i'd give it similar stats to Premier Sports as it is owned and operated by the same media group - premier media so probably worth adding them as a media group with both channels owned by it aswell.

  15. On 20/01/2018 at 07:31, Gabriel said:

He did two barbed wire matches in October for Onita's shows, and has been involved in extreme weapon gimmick matches in the past couple years.

EDIT: No light tube or glass panes as far as I can tell, but he should be capable of doing barbed wire matches, at the very least.

Would this include OVE (Jake and Dave Crist, Sami Callihan) and LAX (Santana, Ortiz and Homicide) who recently featured in Barbed wire massacre 3? They are also not normally considered deathmatch workers per se but I suppose would need to be able to at least work barbed wired matches.

For the record, Abyss, Sabu and Judas Mesias also competed in barbed wire matches in the past as well if that helps.

    They changed their logo again?

lol yes it looks like it from some of the photos from the recent tapings! With the move to four sided ring they've taken away the six sided parted of the logo naturally and the green colouring that referenced GFW. Pretty much the same impact wrestling font though. Once a good image comes available which probably wont be until the new tapings start airing (next week?) ill post it up.

Also cant believe i forgot but as it occurred at the previous tapings it probably slipped my mind:

    - Remove James Storm
