  2. Spoiler

The following press release has been issued:

MANCHESTER | NASHVILLE – ITV Studios Entertainment Manchester announced today that it has teamed up with IMPACT Wrestling, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp., to bring WOS Wrestling back to ITV, with an initial commission for a 10-part series.

The commission from ITV’s Helen Warner follows a successful one-off- special, which aired on New Year’s Eve 2016. The Executive Producers for ITV Studios are Tom McLennan and Simon Marsh. Jeff Jarrett, the Chief Creative Officer for IMPACT Wrestling, will be the Executive Producer for IMPACT Wrestling.

Thirty years after the original WOS ended – and legendary stars such as Big Daddy, Mick McManus and Rollerball Rocco left British screens – this new series will feature the very best of today’s wrestlers from the current red-hot U.K. wrestling scene.

They will compete in front of a live audience at the intimate Preston Guild Hall on Thursday 25 th May and Friday 26 th May (doors 7pm / bell time 7.30pm).

Tickets for these historic shows will go on sale at 9am on Friday 7 th April from Gigsandtours.com / Ticketmaster.co.uk / prestonguildhall.co.uk. There will also be a launch event this Monday (27 th March) at 2pm in Manchester, where the full details of the WOS live shows will be announced.

This initial commission is part of a comprehensive co-production agreement between ITV Studios and IMPACT Wrestling to relaunch the WOS Wrestling brand, bringing British stars to ITV while leveraging the roster and creative team of Impact Wrestling along with its expertise in live event production and international distribution.

“This opportunity to work with ITV Studios to revive this iconic brand in the United Kingdom is a perfect example of the ways in which we intend to leverage our strengths to build our presence in international markets in collaboration with local organizations,” said Ed Nordholm, President of Impact Wrestling.

Director of Entertainment, ITV Studios Manchester, Tom Mclennan said: “Britain’s wrestling scene is thriving and there has never been a better time to bring it back to ITV after a gap of 30 years.”

Jeff Jarrett, Chief Creative Officer for IMPACT Wrestling, added: “The WOS brand is etched in professional wrestling tradition. My family’s lineage in the industry dates back 70-plus years, so I am honoured for the opportunity to work on reviving the legacy of this historic British series.”

WOS Wrestling will need activated if not this update then likely May update when they are taping.

I suppose we'll have to wait and see how this plays out but i think a working agreement between Impact and WOS won't simulate accurately the agreement, they won't exactly be "trading" talent, it sounds like IMPACT talent will make up the majority of the roster alongside local talent and they are even discussing joint IMPACT/WOS tour etc. so it might need to be WOS becomes a child company/developmental for IMPACT in game so anyone playing as impact can send/recall talent as they go - what do you think?

  3. Noticed two title belts need updated for TNA/Impact Wrestling. The X-Division title picture is still the blue coloured one, it changed to a green styled X some time last year, add the cut below to the belt graphics and set that for the current X-Division title.

    kXvIyBn.jpg

Also the Knockouts title is still the white strapped title. This was changed to the title pictured below some time ago. I don't have a cut of this one made, perhaps someone could do the honours so it could be added to the next update? Much appreciated.

  4. Spoiler
    • Caleb Konley - Babyface - Old School face (wholesome)
    • *Add as Alter Ego of Caleb Konley* Suicide - Babyface - Comic Book Hero (Wholesome)

Further on this one, given that he wrestled more under the Suicide gimmick at the last tapings and the hype that Impact have been giving the characters return and just so people know he's there in the update it might be best to have Caleb Konley start with the Suicide alter ego applied in Impact wrestling in this update.

Also - need to add working agreements between Impact Wrestling and the following promotions -

Also if your activating CRASH Lucha Libre in this update (which i would be forever greatful for btw) will need to add a Hostility between them and AAA.

any news on whats being done with Xplosion?

Looking at the Xplosion matches on their Youtube Channel the branding is just Xplosion with no TNA or Impact Wrestling logos so just change it to Xplosion without any pre-initials.

Ok so i went through all the TNA changes at the recent tapings as there is a lot but all covered here, including what alignment and gimmick they should have etc. Keeping this in spoiler tags due to length and also as some of this hasn't aired yet but should by April.  Also included the TV changes for the UK as that new deal starts on April 21st so worth including in the next update.]

  6. Someone may have already created this, wondering if someone could link me to or put together a WCW Nitro logo but with the Red WCW logo that was used during the Invasion angle. If putting one together if you could add the FX channel logo to it as well that would be awesome.

Also would anyone have a banner featuring the invasion WCW logo?

  7. Just noticed when playing that Cody Rhodes is listed as Babyface still under TNA contract, need to make him Heel with Evolution (Cocky) gimmick he turned heel on moose a couple of weeks back to match his heel turns in ROH/NJPW.

Turn Josh Matthews Heel and change gimmick to Staff Member (Cocky) appears his recent GOAT shenanigans on twitter is a storyline and he has already begun playing this up with Pope on Impact this week.

BTW having took a peek at some of the spoilers from the latest TNA tapings the next months update will probably be a headache lol sheer number of roster turnover is astounding. But gave me a thought, which i'm putting in spoiler tags in case i inadvertently give away a spoiler -

    Spoiler

its no secret Jarrett will use his new position of power at impact to fill some gaps with GFW talent - i noticed that some of those talents that appeared i.e. Cody and the Reno SCUM carried their GFW title belts with them on the show - would it be worth considering adding GFW in an alliance with Impact Wrestling? or maybe just move the GFW titles under IMPACT Wrestling?

Also update Abyss' Loyalty status to TNA - given that he has been there since day one, has turned down offers for elsewhere in the past and is now on the booking committee.

Angelina Love doesn't appear to be on the roster, think i had this in the last thread but she returned recently as part of a feud with her husband davey richards against eddie edwards and his wife Alexxis Neveah. Tapings seem to indicate this storyline will continue as well. Make her a heel with Diva gimmick and set as semi active wrestler

Change Davey Richards to Heel and add Angel Williams as manager.

Probably safe to remove Jay Bradley/Aiden O'Shea from the TNA roster he hasn't been booked for the last two set of tapings now.

The impact grand championship is set as vacant and the title history hasn't been updated since January for some reason. Need to add the record for Drew Galloways title win in January and Moose's recent win - set as champion.

  8. Big Upheaval at Impact Wrestling as you probably already know but remove the following people from the Impact Wrestling roster:

    Jeff Hardy

    Matt Hardy

    Drew Galloway

    Jade (Mia Yim)

    Michael Bennett

    Maria Kanellis

    Add

    Bruce Prichard (Heel, Manager)

They've also announced a UK tv deal with the UK version of Spike TV - http://impactwrestling.com/impact-wrestling-has-a-new-u-k-home/

Create a broadcast deal for Impact Wrestling with Spike TV UK for Prime Time Fridays.

Create a broadcast deal for events (One Night Only and PPV's) with Spike TV UK for Sundays

Create a broadcast deal for Xplosion with Channel 5 with On Demand slot. (Xplosion will be exclusive to My5 which is the catchup tv app for Channel 5 broadcasting.

It looks like TNA will be actively utilising talent from The Crash promotion it might be worth activating the promotion and adding a working agreement between them and TNA for benefit of those that play TNA regularly.

The company appears to have done away with the TNA intials, change the name to Impact Wrestling. They have also unveiled a new company and show logo which needs updated in game, including this one as might be easiest to cut from given the plain black background -

    C57jjv_XQAEUOjv.jpg

Also the Total Access TNA broadcaster logo needs updated, their logo is below:

    jIuMAqlx_400x400.jpg

Remove Jack Swagger from WWE - he has requested and granted his release.

It's funny to suggest that GFW is doing anything right now to be considered active

Lol yeah they've been a non entity for some time now, just thought i'd point it out as i enabled them as part of save I'm running only to get the error in the editor to tell me i cant have JJ as both TNA booker and GFW owner - so yeah Jarrett as head booker in the data - if anyone activates GFW for whatever reason, simply change it to dutch and set Jarrett as a road agent in TNA and GFW owner seems to work a treat.

That said i suspect their about to get a new lease of life soon with all these changes in TNA - i'm assuming Jarrett was at least smart enough to get GFW Amped a slot on Fight Network as part of his negotiations to join TNA as creative consultant otherwise he's very foolish.

  10.  - Add a Working Agreement Company Relationship between TNA and Pro Wrestling NOAH - http://impactwrestling.com/impact-professional-wrestling-noah-partnership/

    - TNA also have a working agreement with Konnan's Crash promotions in Mexico. But they don't appear to be in the game yet - given the big names on their roster and the recent high profile AAA defections there it would be worthwhile added them and setting a WAG between them and TNA.

    - From the below report it also appears there may be a working agreement in the works with ITV's World of Sport but nothing concrete yet so one to keep an eye on just:

    Spoiler

Jeff Jarrett has replaced John Gaburick as the main guy in TNA. This happened about two weeks ago but has been largely kept quiet. Gaburick is still with the company, but Dixie Carter and Serg Salinas are gone. Salinas is completely gone while Carter may still have a title but no longer is working out of the office and essentially is a non-entity. Salinas is listed as having left the company last month to become General Manager of Trifecta Entertainment. Trifecta Entertainment was the publicity company that Carter ran prior to the family purchasing TNA. Jarrett has spoken with people with the idea he’ll be able to make deals soon. Dutch Mantel is back on creative, and Scott D’Amore, who booked TNA when it was doing its best PPV business, is also in, so it is basically the Jarrett regime. The general feeling is that the way things shake out is Jarrett will be in charge and Mantel and D’Amore and Jarrett will run creative

An interesting thing would be announcing, since it was Gaburick who replaced Mike Tenay with Josh Matthews, who he knew from WWE. Matthews didn’t exactly get stellar reviews, but Tenay had a high contract when he was in TNA and they are in a cost-cutting mode

Jarrett has been trying to set up a meeting with the people doing ITV World of Sport. World of Sport wants someone to run their wrestling operations as they don’t want to be running a wrestling promotion, have no experience at it, but are interested in a promotion so they can run a weekly television show. The expectation is ITV will be making a decision shortly about wrestling. We’d heard talk of February tapings, and obviously that’s not happening but they are still in touch with people and talking like it’s a go, but this is also the television business where you operate like it’s a go as long as the idea is still alive. It does look like Jarrett may be trying pull of an international relationship with TNA, Crash, NOAH and ITV just judging from recent meetings. Jarrett and Crash makes sense given that Jarrett is working the main event himself at the next Crash show, and bringing Eli Drake from TNA in as well. The problem is that the biggest stars Crash and Konnan have would be Rey Mysterio Jr., Penta 0M, Rey Fenix, Jeff Cobb, Ricochet, Brian Cage, etc. who are all under contract to Lucha Underground which means they can’t work for TNA. Masayuki Uchida, the new President of NOAH, announced on 2/7, that they have a working agreement with TNA, for the first time since 2012 (when Samoa Joe and Magnus worked NOAH shows and even won the GHC tag team titles). They announced that several TNA wrestlers would be appearing on the 3/12 show at the Yokohama Bunka Gym. Uchida was the point man for Wrestle-1 a few years ago when they worked with TNA and even had Bound for Glory at Korakuen Hall in 2015. While nothing has been announced, Moose on Twitter teased the idea he was going to NOAH, and Eddie Edwards, who used to work for NOAH, is also going over soon. D’Amore was the conduit for the NOAH deal, which will also include NOAH wrestlers coming to TNA, and they’ve got some great ones like Katsuhiko Nakajima, Daisuke Harada , Naomichi Marufuji (who has some of the best timing of when to do what of perhaps anyone in the business right now), Takashi Sugiura and others. Masa Kitamiya is great given his level of experience. Plus NOAH will send young wrestlers to D’Amore in Canada and TNA for training

We’re told that things have gotten a little uncomfortable in the TNA & ROH relationship, which at this point is really only the Hardys vs. Young Bucks match in Lakeland, since there are lingering past issues involving the Jarrett led version of the company and ROH from the past

A lot of the top talent in TNA is apprehensive about the changes and there is the thought that if anyone but the top few guys leave, Jarrett has all the GFW guys he was using that can fill the holes, but right now nobody knows exactly how things are going to shake out. Because Anthem has spent so much money between the loans and the Billy Corgan settlement, and there is no way to make money right now, they are looking at cutting costs and there has been talk of cutting pay which has talent unhappy. The basic idea is to cut talent pay and not necessarily have a hiring freeze, but not to aggressively pursue outside talent that would cost money unless it’s a unique circumstance. The last taping was really just a continuation of the Gaburick regime, while the next set of tapings in March will play a part in whatever the new direction is, who is being pushed, etc

Matt & Jeff Hardy and Drew Galloway still haven’t signed. A thing to watch out for is that the Hardys, Matt in particular, had been given free reign for their gimmick, and with the Jarrett crew back in charge of creative, whether that will continue remains to be seen. The one thing TNA had as its advantage over everyone else as far as the Hardys being here is that they knew they could do their ideas whereas elsewhere they wouldn’t have nearly the control. One would think the thing that would threaten their deals more than anything, aside from a pay issue, and in their case, I don’t see that happening because they are considered top guys, is if the Hardys no longer had full control over what they were doing

    - Add Scott D'Amore to TNA with a Road Agent role, he has returned as part of the creative team alongside Jeff Jarrett & Dutch Mantel - http://impactwrestling.com/impact-professional-wrestling-noah-partnership/

    - Change the TNA head booker to either Jeff Jarrett or Dutch Mantel - Jarrett if your not running GFW (his owner status there would prevent this) or Dutch if you have GFW as active.

    - Add Angelina Love to TNA on a PPA deal as a heel semi active wrestler, she returned on last nights show to assist Davey Richards in his attack on Eddie Edwards and his wife Alexis Nevaeh. Turn Davey Richards Heel.

    - Dixie Carter is apparently gone for good with regards TNA. Remove her TNA contract and set her as Out of the Business.

  11. Nearly ready to start a diary in the dome and need some graphics as i'm useless at photoshop despite multiple attempts to learn lol, basically just need a logo and banner for a custom promotion. Usual guy i go to is busy so hoping someone can hook me up? Don't really want to spoil/scoop my own diary here in the thread so will DM the details to whomever is free to do so. If anyone is willing to help let me know, would be greatly appreciated.

  12. Add Don West to TNA he returned in a recent shoptna announcement. No idea if there are plans for him to return to commentary in any capacity so just set role as personality or out of ring for now.

Update Aron Rex's gimmick, he debuted a new Liberace inspired gimmick last week, im on mobile so can't check the database at moment to recommend a suitable gimmick selection.

Set rockstar spud as his manager.

add new to deal for five star wrestling:

    Spoiler

Yet another TV player is getting in the pro wrestling business in Europe.

The big announcement this morning from Drew Galloway today is that Five Star Wrestling will be debuting on Spike TV in Great Britain starting with a live special on 1/28 from Dundee, Scotland for an event featuring Rey Mysterio Jr., John Morrison, Galloway, Carlito, Joe Coffey, Jay Lethal, PJ Black, Nick Aldis, Mark Haskins, Joe Hendry, Kid Fite, Jack Jester and Jimmy Havoc. Galloway also announced that Kurt Angle will be an announcer on the 1/28 broadcast. Galloway made it clear in the announcement that the special would air over Spike TV (channel 5) in the UK, not streaming online.

  13. Few Additions to the TNA Roster as per the tapings. *warning* spoilers!

    Spoiler

    Brooke Adams

    Angelina Love

    Alexxis Neveah

Josh Barnett (believe he's in the database as a commentator for the AXS NJPW show but needs added as an active wrestler, babyface, legit athlete. Not sure if anyone has stats for him?)

    Caleb Konley

    Deonna Purrazzo

    Kongo Kong
