In my defense, I have not heard of either of these re-names until now... Control Your Narative has to run a bit more. XPW was added largely because most of the talent is in game. By looking at CYN, there would be quite a few I would need to add and most are people I never even heard of. I left the Briscoes off of NWA since AFAIK the Crockett Cup was their only showing. Journey Fatu is one of several workers I am actually already looking to add for the May update. Juciy Finau was not added. However, Juicy Finau was added due to his GCW/LA Fights showings.

A few notes: Going forward I am gonna make the alter ego file a bit heftier. I know this has been controversial in the past, but hear me out here. There are a number of workers that work as several gimmicks, let alone in the same promotion like the AAA Marvel wrestlers. Then you also have the rash of WWE re-names out there. I'm not gonna get crazy here, but I do want to include the recent WWE renames in so if you want to rename Gunter back to WALTER or Katana Chance to Kacy Catanazaro or the silly Pretty Deadly renames, you can and it isn't just for you. NOTE: for AAA's Marvel characters, I am only gonna keep the alter egos for the current ones not past workers. I am in fact adding three promotions this month. All have been in EWR before. The CRASH (really hoping the roster is less fluid this time), CZW and XPW. I am working on updating the Event file and organizing them. I think for unused months, I'm gonna use past names. Yes I know, some promotions have not ran shows in say June historically. The problem is the game will do it anyway. So I rather see PWG run another Smokey & the Bandido rather than PWG Monster's Ball (not a real name but anyone playing have seen weird names like that.)

Better late than never. That said I added, edited and fixed a LOT of things. I have numerous re-names done so I would suggest checking the pic change text file. I also added a TON of pictures. I am including the super light update like I have in the past, but I would seriously suggest getting the Light if not the Full update file. ROH is included as a part of AEW now. For now, I will not include ROH event names for AEW shows but I may in the future. I have added it as a brand within AEW since the belts are being treated as a part of AEW (just like the AAA Tag Titles and other belts AEW has had title defenses of.) I updated a number of sponsors. A number of which were previously in the game and removed (Aaron's, Family Dollar, Stacker2) along with sports books, gambling companies and wrestling related companies (Blackcraft, Blxkmass, Teremana and Zoa.) Due to Mania, I may wait until after Mania week (by that I mean the Friday of SmackDown) due to all the shake-ups that happen the week after Mania. As for TV, it is hard since the game was made in 2003 and were several years from the initial online shows through JAPW and TNA. This is one of the ways that I wish someone had the source-code to alter EWR to make it real. Plus the fact ratings are way off. Not sure what to do about streaming as again, EWR was made in a pre-internet PPV and internet streaming world. Yes, there are streaming platforms as "networks" but that is out of nesscity for say NXT which is a brand. The catch-22 with TV is there are only so many networks that show wrestling. Plus who is to say that with removing that people don't reply what about The CW, Paramount (the former Spike), MTV and MTV2. The networks I can see removing are WGN/News Nation (I honestly didn't know of the re-brand since my parents watch Blue Bloods on the station) and networks that had marginal wrestling relations like CMT, VH1 and yes, E! where these networks only had reality programing. FX and Showtime I don't think ever had wrestling either so they will be out. El Rey, I don't think would ever show wrestling again. I think it is just streaming their backlog cataloge. National Syndication (at least the way it is in the game) doesn't really exist anymore and neither does a true Global network.

I am currently updating sponsors with a number of new ones and some removals. I removed a few that were pandemic issues. I removed charities like Be A Star, Connor's Cure and Susan G. Komen since they aren't really sponsors. I also looked to rename and update slogans. Basically the ones I am adding are online sports books and gambling companies (MGM Resorts & Cesars), Blackcraft clothing, wrestling related companies (Blxkmass, Ringside Collectables, Teremana and Zoa) and a few podcast companies.

Yeah I was thinking of doing that for sometime since the cardiac issue, unless he somehow became an on-camera guy (I mean, Triple H wasn't a bad authority figure character even if it went on for a little bit too long.) He hasn't yet, so I guess I'll make The Game staff In some cases, yes. Like the names. For some time I kept Rey Fenix and Penta as Fenix and Pentagon Jr. since those were their AAA names. As they started working more in AEW, I switched to the AEW names. Even renamed workers and regimicks can be an issue as they may fit several. The only time this is not is if the rename or regimmick isn't by design but yet not done (which has happened with some updates.) Stats a bit different and subjective. I remember in the early 2010's some suggestions giving guys who did suicide dives 80s when that really was the only thing giving them a high speed rating. Mind you, they would not say Mexican luchadors or Japanese juniors a similar bump when they do use a mix of speed based offense. Those updates were ones that I should have checked. Sadly unlike Mutoh, I haven't heard much of Bagwell and Credible wrestling ability (or lack there of) in the past years. In fact Bagwell, I was pretty sure I was gonna remove for lack of wrestling prior to checking. He surprisingly had a good amount of dates in the past year alone.

Update, I lowered Muto down to 58/10/59/74/62. Credible was lowered to 65/21/38/37/68. Buff was lowered down to 55/15/36/36/66.

I will double check Mutoh but yeah I've heard the stories with his current NOAH run. I actually forgot Bagwell and Credible were even in the game to be honest. I'll double check when they last appeared because I can delete them. I am always open to help, but like when I had the lucha suggestions a month or so ago, often it was met with add the Micros from CMLL and I asked for stats and get nothing but "Why didn't you add the Micros, I suggested them last month."

WWN is a bit weird especially now a days. I actually removed ACW from WWN for this update. It hasn't run for a year and only had title changes. It has run far less consistently since Sapolsky left. That said, FIP and SHINE do somewhat co-promote, not as much as EVOLVE/SHINE did at the height of WWN. From what I've heard with ROH, there are no contracts after the end of March and nobody knows what this means with the WrestleMania weekend show. The Mania show could be the last ROH show or it could be the start of a new. We don't know yet. I just know in game that it doesn't work to have two companies not be linked. That is more of a TEW change as we saw say Dragon Gate USA and Evolve merge in 2012, leading to WWN. From what I've seen The Righteous is still around on the indies including Vincent so his Impact status isn't effecting that.

I am not sure what to do about Ring of Honor. Tony Khan did buy ROH so it cannot have an owner and it is scheduled to run Mania weekend. My options: RoH is kept on its own, but have no owner. RoH is put below AEW as a brand with only the existing champions and I rename the Dynamite Specials for live events to ROH events.

I've actually used that YouTube channel for a number of them, when they post. I use another YouTube channel for finisher names too. I like to have as many multiple finishers as possible but maybe I should change the Tyrus G-Grip regardless (even if that was the old name for his Tongan Death Grip Slam.

I think I previously had that and got rid of it. Kylie's status has been rather weird.

Just an FYI, I will likely find a different finisher for George South. Roll Up doesn't exactly work with the way the game is when it comes to what happens with finishers. Alex Taylor has the cross-body. Kyle Durden will stay as production, should he be changed, NWA would have no production staff. They use to have a considerable group. As of right now Velvet and May Valentine will stay workers. The only thing with keeping them as workers is for Valentine she can be used for interview segments and Velvet could be used in angles (which I think she was once in her NWA run but not in-ring.)

I fixed most of these. Danhausen I made weirdo and Emi Sakura "royalty". Danhausen got an overness and charisma boost as well. For now Don Callis and Maki Itoh are staying. Maki alluded to returning to AEW in an interview after a recent TJP match. Mel I am indeed removing though.

I think I mentioned how I cannot really add any more TV without it not making issues with your networks complaining about a show that isn't your's. For some reason only 17 shows are allowed without issues. Austin Idol is too old to be added as a worker in game.

Happy National Pro-Wrestling Day! I apologize about how late the EWR Update is is, but I have been fighting headaches and a stress filled January due to work. I have several workers added back in based on Royal Rumble, GCW's Hammerstine show and even the Young Lions Roar show on NJPW World as well others whom I had stats for.
