Drew Pain vs Austin Lee: AWE Title Qualification Match

Austin Lee is helped out to the ring by a couple of trainers. Can this guy even see straight? He stumbles around for a minute and then sits down in the corner. Drew Pain makes his entrance wearing a leather jacket and a shir with his picture on it. The fans don't even give him a chance to do anything and boo him like crazy. He gets into the ring and laughs at the obviously high Austin Lee, who shakes his head and dives at Drew! Doosh doosh doosh...I mean...punches to the face by Lee! He keeps pounding away until Pain knees him in the gut. He stomps away, all while checking his face for blood. He drops the legs on Lee and covers him for 2. He argues with referee Rich Bass but little does he know that Austin Lee has kipped up and is standing behind him! Kick to the stomach and, here it is, the Degenerate Driver! 1..2..3! Lee moves on to the semi-finals! He celebrates on the turnbuckles as the show ends! Thanks for coming to see AWE Innaguration! God bless and good night!

I apoligize for the drawn out show but I have been very busy this week. I'll try to put all of it into one post next time.

The action continues as it's time for the first of our two main events!

Gavin Quartermain vs Jo Jo Fantastico: AWE Title Qualification Match

Quartermain struts down to the ring in his sequenced bathrobe, getting a couble of "Woo!" chants. They completely dissapear however, when he starts to toss the robe into the crowd, then pulls it back. Fantastico runs down and gets right in Gavin's face...and begins to dance? Quartermain tries to take a lunge at Jo Jo who ducks and proceeds to punch the hell out of him! Quick suplex on Quartermain for 2. He slides out of the ring to catch his breath only to get hit from behind with a baseball slide. He tosses GQ on top of the announcers' table and goes to the top rope. He goes for a frog splash...but Gavin rolls off the table! Jo jo is knocked out! Quartermain rolls him into the ring and hits the Powerbomb DDT. It's over. 1..2..3. Quartermain dances around the ring until Fantastico stands up and extends his hand. Gavin stares at it for a minute but clotheslines him instead! He laughs to himself as he heads backstage!

Jo Jo Fantastico debuted his new gimmick (Dude), it got a positive response.

We stay at ringside as Buzz Stryker walks down, wearing the same "Team Punishment" shirt that Derek Wayne was seen with. Instantly, the crowd gets all over him. He leans on one of the turnbuckles and waits for his opponent.

Buzz Stryker vs Katsuyori Shibata: AWE Title Qualification Match

Shibata walks down to the ring to a small pop. He gets in and stands toe to toe with Stryker. They stare at each other for a minute or so before Stryker slaps Shibata right across the face! Punch combo by Stryker that sends Shibata down to the mat. Buzz bounces off the ropes and goes for a splash, but Shibata rolls out of the way. He performs a standing moonsault and goes for a cover, but only gets 1. Buzz stands up and gives Shibata a good ole' thumb to the eye followed by a hard DDT. He taunts the crowd a bit before going up top to hit the Buzzsault. 1..2..3. It's over. Buzz struts around the ring for awhile, much to the dismay of the fans.

Buzz Stryker debuted his new gimmick (Cocky), it got a positive response.

Mitch Paradise vs Derek Wayne: AWE Title Qualification Match

Derek Wayne is already in the ring, preparing for his match. He goes through the ropes and down to ringside, snatches a young fan's sign, and rips it to shreds. Instant heat I suppose.

"Hip, hip..."

Out from behind the curtain comes a man wearing a green tropical shirt, sunglasses and carrying a small stereo playing "Island in the Sun" by Weezer. It's Mitch Paradise! He runs into the ring a tosses his sunglasses into the crowd. He dances around for a few seconds until Wayne floors him with a punch! The bell rings and the match is on! Stomps to the gut by Wayne on Paradise. Quick pin for 1. He picks Mitch up but Paradise counters with a falling jawbreaker! The crowd is getting behind him as he bounces off the ropes and delievers a sweet senton to Wayne. Pin for 2. Mitch fires up the crowd by dancing around Wayne as he gets up. CLOTHESLINE OUT OF NOWHERE! Looks like Derek got his energy back. He sets Mitch up for the Sure Shot, but gets tossed over Paradise's head! He gets back up....and gets hit with the Superkick! 1..2..3! It's over! Paradise picks up his boom box and heads backstage as the crowd goes nuts!

Mitch Paradise debuted his new gimmick (Cool), it got a positive response.

I say might as well keep him in, I don't think you can delete him in season anyway. Make the most out of having him.

Hmmm well, if the scenario started in June, then I would take him out but since you already started, you have to keep him in I think. To be honest though, you DON'T have to play by the rules, you could make it as if Owen had never died and push him like nuts. It would be great to see Owen main eventing with HHH's gimmick of today (The Game). Just edit your first post and say Linda was gone is early may but your job started in June. That way, Owen could still be around. It will be one of those "What If.." kind of things, like "What if WCW bought HHH?" You know, like if HHH and Steph never fell in love and Aitch lost interest in WWF. He might have gone to WCW.

But alas, I ramble xD
