  1. Why the fuck does Slogger have to be such a prissy little girl and take us all off his list? He has no right. NO RIGHT!
I did a clean out of my list, Besides, It serves you right for messengering me in the middle of my watching Gone in 60 Seconds, The Longest Yard and Die Hard 4.

I'd be thanking him for distracting you from some really shit films.

And I've fell so far on Gears that I'm slightly sad.

  3. From Mortal Kombat Annihilation:

"This dude's tryin' to merge the two dimensions, and y'all wanna check out his CRIB!?"

-Jax, a.k.a. one of the American Gladiators, a.k.a. HEY LOOK IT'S A BLACK ONE GUYS

This may be my favorite bad line ever. It's a ridiculous thing to say, and the poor guy says it so poorly, that... yeah.

  4. 3. Animal - Against Me!

Eh. I don't really like this so I'm not sure why it's still on my computer. Not a patch on Piss and Vinegar from the same album.

Not sure if you're an Against Me! fan or what, or whether you just picked up the album. But I fucking HATE the new album. Nothing to do with 'selling out' or whatever (Although there is a dramatic shift is 'sound'...to basically Modest Mouse-lite), it's just boring as fucking sin.

Listen to The Gaslight Anthem...it's basically what "New Wave" should have been. :shifty:

  5. 1. My Moon, My Man - Feist

I haven't listened to this album for ages but this is a right tune. The Feist album was a weird one for me; I adored it on the first listen and then never really went through it again. This has pretty much convinced me to go through it again. Class track.

    2. If Only Everything - Queens of the Stone Age

Another awesome track from an album I haven't listened to for far too long. Not got a lot to say really except it's a good song.

    3. Animal - Against Me!

Eh. I don't really like this so I'm not sure why it's still on my computer. Not a patch on Piss and Vinegar from the same album.

    4. Adelaide - The Autumns

See, now, The Autumns are awesome. I'm not even sure how to describe them or who to compare them to because I suck at stuff like that but AllMusic says they're similar to The Stone Roses but I don't see it. Anyway, great band and this is a good track by them. Not a favourite but still top notch.

    5. Black Sheep - The Pillows

I love The Pillows. I love this song. I used to hate The Pillows for some reason until I downloaded "Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up!" and fell in love with them. I wouldn't call them a favourite band but they're definately a band where I can listen to just about anything from their Discography and like it.

    6. St. Apollonia - Beirut

I'll be honest; I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever heard this song despite having the album downloaded for months. I'm still not too convinced with Beirut actually and this is alright but nothing great.

    7. Sunshine in Happyland - Elle Milano

Elle Milano are bloody awesome and I'm glad they've popped up here so I can pimp them to you all. Like I say, I suck at describing bands so I'll just tell you to go listen to them and love them. This track, despite being a pretty old demo, is what made me love the band in the first place and it's a favourite.

    8. 2 Cute 4 U - Findel

Despite sounding like a terrible song, it's a quaint little electro-pop track. I'm sure Findel's "Enter the Shadowlands" is a concept album about a game world but I'm really not certain. Either way, this is a fun little track from a fun album.

    9. Pacific Theatre - yourcodenameis:milo

I suppose I owe a lifelong debt to Ollie for linking me to these guys and making me love them. This is from their second album, the better "They Came From The Sun" and it's a total tune. They're Geordies as well which makes them even better. And I totally forgot how awesome the bridge is in this. Top bombing.

    10. Shopping Cart People - The Most Serene Republic

God, this shuffle is bringing out stuff I haven't listened to for ice ages. I couldn't even remember what this sounded like before it came on but it's a really good track actually.

  6. 86 hours of playtime over about 2 months. It pretty much took over my free time at one point.

Fantastic game though and a perfectly fine reason to buy any console. I spent most of my time as a thief, sneaking around castles and looting everything I found. Never killed anybody either unless they started on me (only fair tbh). I totally adore the game though and sort of wish I'd have gotten it on PC for the downloadable content like someone mentioned before.

  7. On SVR08, it was a triple threat handicap match and these two guys pretty much beat the hell out of me in a Hell in a Cell match and they eventually go outside and up to the top of the cell. But they've forgot about me just sitting down the bottom, fully red. So, both guys go through the top of the cell, I spring up, pin the one that's out cold, get the win and keep my title. I could hear Michael Cole screaming "NOT THIS WAY!".

Finally nailing the solo in Cliffs of Dover on hard on GHIII was epic as well and probably won't be recreated.

A last minute Adriano volley to beat my mate in the last of our 'Best of 3'. Was wonderful.

  8. Dead Rising seemed likely to be my third, I played it the other week and I had a helluva' lot of fun. Like I said on MSN, I partially think I already decided on GoW and am just worried because Halo has name value and will likely have more online players. I love my "shoot stuff to shit" kind of games so if "Gears..." is really that kind of thing I think my decision is almost certainly set unless someone can convince me otherwise.
  9. How many of Blackburn's better players have ever been sold in January?

More to the point, how many have been sold on the cheap without a release-clause being involved? Sorry Geordies, but Bentley would cost a lot more than 5 mil plus Milner in the current market. If Gary Cahill is worth £5 million, imagine how much Bentley will cost.

  10. The fact it sets you up quite peacefully and then hits you with this barrage of, quite frankly, impossibly quick pull-offs with a couple of chords in there only helps annoy me even more. To hell with getting 200k on Cult of Personality, I want an achievement for getting through Raining Blood without my fingers falling off. I shudder to think what happens when you get past the first mosh.

  11. I love Tourniquet Man until it starts going into fully mental, robotic voice mode. I could apply the same to just about every song on the album (apart from Wax Simulacra obviously) and it seems like they have these awesome 4 minute tracks that they're stretching out needlessly. Some really good stuff (Wax Simulacra, Cavalettas, Ilyena) and some rubbish stuff (Soothsayers) but it seems like each song becomes more of a chore to listen to rather than an experience which is the first time I've ever said that about TMV stuff.

  12. Got this today and the spike in difficulty when you reach Stage 7 is amazing. And this was just on medium. I shudder to think what hard is like. Getting a 200 note streak in Dragonforce was awesome though but it was quickly replaced by plinky plonky noises for 20 seconds.

  13. Either Illinoise or Michigan are the best starting points for his work. His earlier stuff is patchy at best and it doesn't really get any good until Michigan. The Avalanche, despite being a collection of B-Sides, is still pretty choice.
