  1. My earnings from the Hitmen's close loss in Battleground are EL Show, UL Asuka (which makes a Pro), and WM33 Bayley. All of a sudden my Diva situation got an awful lot better thanks to one event. Can't complain.
  2. Hooray for Ellis!!! Welcome back. My rewards were UL Kendrick, EL Kofi and EL Aries. None of them are Pros, but quickly accumulating things that will make it more likely to get future Pros. So can't complain.
  3. Elite Bray (for a Pro), Elite Itami and Ultimate Nakamura. Not bad at all! Plus I'm cooking up Elite Pro Cesaro and will be getting an Elite Pro Goldust after RTG. So slowly but surely my deck is getting a little better.
  4. Scotty here. Sorry for not contributing to the debate, but I am on the same page as you guys. I like the idea of doing 3 Battlegrounds a week, promoting more generals, etc. There's really no reason NOT to have one going almost all of the time. If you all want me to start an event at a specific time or whatever, just let me know. I work best on a schedule. LOL
  5. My only problem with Ace is that he's not "Ace" Bob Orton. Or "Ace In The Hole" Sonny Siaki. Or Johnny Ace. Deathlok, thanks so much for sticking around for this team event. Wish you and your new team all the best, brother!
  6. Yeah, thanks for the good performance, fellas. Hopefully in time for our next event, I will have that new "Roadblock" Charlotte card. So that's one less poor Diva we have to worry about (since my best was regular SS Charlotte). LOL And yeah, the amount of Goldberg's we faced was ridiculous.
  7. So not sure how hard Team EWB was planning on hitting the RTG Team Event. But not only would we all pair WM Ryback (not a big deal for many), but I personally could get a Pro SS Bray and Pro HD Big E out of it. So help a brother out! lol So suffice it to say, I'll at least be in there and hitting it hard.
  8. Scotty here. Yep I was still winning +5's in Hardened, and could have kept going, but time would have expired before getting him. Now I wasn't always winning those matches by much, mind you. Many were close...just depended on the luck of the draw.
  9. I just picked this up recently. Are Computer vs. Computer matches entertaining at all, or are they lacking a bit like other recent entries? Either way, I've been enjoying playing matches though the lack of Haku makes me sad. I would take turns destroying Enzo with him, Vader, Bam Bam, Hall and Nash, etc. LOL
  10. Haha, yeah after looking online, I found that out too. I don't fool with Ranked mode at all because other people are stupid and annoying, so my deck there was still at WM level. Hence....WM Titus.... But again, I guess it could've been worse. At least it makes a Pro.
  11. So, I'm in SummerSlam tier and my "pity pull" free reward card.....a WM Titus O'Neil. That does make a Pro for me.....but still..... I think Playdom is actually trolling me, because I sent in a ticket like 3 weeks ago. I had actually originally won a 2nd WM Titus from a KOTR finish. This was about 3 hours BEFORE the Season 3 release. When Season 3 was installed, this 2nd Titus had vanished. Sent a ticket to both 2K and Playdom immediately, it's still unresolved....and boom, I get this WM Titus today, a tier below what I actually am now. lol
  12. Ellis, you ARE special. I also miss doing GTA with you traitorous bastards who went to PS4. Chris2K, I feel ya. I don't have quite that many WM singles....probably in the 20-25 range. But they're all singles and that's depressing. LOL Oh crap, that's a second post for me this year.
  13. Awww, don't leave us Ellis. We're trying to get good! Honest! That said, I'm about to get my second SS Corbin. May not Pro him right away unless the team needs me to.
  14. Oh man, I would have loved to see the Operation Mindcrime tour. Their new album's going to be the "sequel" to Mindcrime but I'm not sure if it'll come close to matching the first one. I'm just thankful they didn't play Silent Lucidity. I hate that song. They mostly played stuff from their first two albums, which was cool....a little unexpected, but cool. That's cool. I've heard that Manowar plays a great show, so I can't say whether or not Hammerfall would put on a better one. All I know is I've been a Hammerfall fan since Legacy of Kings and have yet to see 'em live. So I'm really eager for this one....and supposedly Blind Guardian's touring the states this fall too. That'll be sweet! Then again, when I was in college, I gave all these bands heavy play on my college radio show. Everyone else was playing lame college rock...somebody had to provide the metal. lol Anyways, it's glad to see some other metalheads on here. Rock on! May Dio bless you all.
  15. Yeah, they might make the playoffs, but that may be tougher than you'd think. Some of the lesser Western conference teams are only getting stronger and more experienced ie. Seattle, Denver, Memphis....even the Warriors and Clippers. Lest we forget that the Lakers aren't even the best NBA team in L.A., standings-wise this year. Phil will help immensely, but this is the first time he's taking over a team that hadn't already been BUILT with superstars. The Bulls already had Jordan and Pippen. The Lakers already had Shaq and Kobe (and would have won the Finals with Rambis as the coach, I guarantee). This Lakers team doesn't have the talent or depth. Kobe's a good player whose head isn't in the game all the time. Odom and Butler are waaay too inconsistent to plan your team around. And the rest of the team either sucks (ie. Devean George) or is too old (ie. Vlade and B. Grant). So it'll be interesting. This is the first time in his career that Phil's going to have to MAKE stars and coach them rather than just coaching stars that have already been made. He's good enough to do it, too.
  16. VerbalPuke's right. Prince could have done just as good a job on Manu one on one as double-teaming with Rasheed would have done. Leaving Horry wide open is inexcusable, although I think 'Sheed's taking more flack than he deserves for it....and I'm no 'Sheed fan. It was a small goof that would have been overlooked if it happened in the first quarter...but since it happaned at the end of OT, everyone's up in arms. Sometimes, I just hate the media. And Horry is in no way a HOF player. He's one of the greatest bench/clutch/playoff players in NBA history. And a great flopper too (then again, so were most of the Lakers). But with the amount of guys who SHOULD be in the Hall Of Fame who aren't, it'd be a crime if Horry got in there ahead of them. But he's had one hell of a good career. Not many guys can say they played with as many quality big men as Horry has. Olajuwon, Shaq, Duncan. Not bad. As for Karizma's question if I'd rather have an Horry type career with rings or a HOF career with no rings, I'd pick the HOF career. I feel bad that guys like Barkley, Malone and Ewing never got rings, but they'll also be remembered far longer than someone like Horry. Then again, my favorite all-time player, Shawn Kemp, is a crackhead, so what do I know? lol
  17. Hope it was a cool show. Not too familiar with Rhapsody although I have a solo album from their guitarist, Luca Turilli which is ok. Manowar's cool, and hopefully they played "Kings Of Metal. That's a classic. I love their double live album that came out 5 years ago or so. On Sunday, I saw Priest and Queensryche. and that was a good show too. 'Ryche played some older stuff, which was cool to hear. And Priest rocked the house down. Granted, Halford said that the crowd was great and "turned him on".......Yikes!!!!
  18. I'd also recommend Drain STH. They only came out with 2 albums before they broke up, but the guitar work on both albums is awesome and definitely heavy. Their sound hearkened back to the rock of mid to late 80's mixed with some grunge/heavy influences as well.
  19. Being that I'm a huge Sonata Arctica fan and have most of their stuff, I'll chime in as well. My favorites are: Kingdom For A Heart (I know it was already mentioned, but I wanted to mention it again) Misplaced (Off of their new one, Reckoning Night) Don't Say A Word (It's their first single from the new one, and I'm impressed by it) White Pearl, Black Oceans (More or less a ballad, but hey, ballads can be cool too) Wolf And Raven (A classic, probably one of their speediest songs) Replica (The first SA song I ever heard. Got me into them ever since.) Broken (Truly awesome lyrics....has helped me get through a down period or two.) That's probably my top 7. To fill out a top 10, I'd probably go with Victoria's Secret, Destruction Preventer and Ain't Your Fairytale Hope this helps. Rock on!!!!
