  1. As long as Tom can keep his lunacy in check when he's with Blink 182 I've got no problem with this. Hell, I even kinda liked I-Empire. That being said, I have no idea what the fuck I just watched. That movie is going to be more than a car crash, its more like two planes colliding in midair, then falling onto a traffic jam on the highway.

  2. Chaos (7/10)- I knew nothing about this movie coming in other than the fact that it starred Jason Statham, Ryan Phillipe and Wesley Snipes. That's good enough for me. I figured it'd be nothing more than a typical action movie but the story was somewhat interesting and the there was a nice twist at the end. Perfectly acceptable.

Breach (7.5/10) - I love dramatic movies that are based on real stories and this definitely qualifies. A really interesting story about the largest security breach in US history. It's been sitting on my shelves for the better part of a year now so I figured I'd give it a watch. Totally wasn't disappointed.

  3. What I've watched recently

    Smallville Season One (episodes 1-12)

So far I'm liking it. Its reminding me somewhat like Kyle XY, which I polished off on a whim in a week after seeing it on Hulu. I don't follow comics so I don't exactly know everything that is going to happen, but random things involving the kryptonite is already starting to get boring. I hope they get some kind of villain in at some point soon.

    Glee (episode 3)

Really fun stuff. This show makes me feel a bit gay watching it, as I have a tendency to start humming along and before I know it I'm singing.

    The Office

What the hell happened to this show? I couldn't even get through the episode. Going to try next weeks though, as I do like it but in my opinion it was awful.

Going to watch Community now, then back to Smallville!

  4. Definately stick with Sons of Anarchy. It starts off sort of slow but picks up and just gets better and better. The second season just started and is fantastic.

Right now I'm trying to decide whether to start watching Smallville or Angel. Whatever I don't watch is going to be next so its not really a big deal though. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go Smallville though, to get away from the whole Vampire/Demon thing for a little bit.

  5. Every couple of weeks someone asks about TV shows to start watching (usually me but its besides the point). Since making a new thread about every show is sort of pointless, I figured I'd make this, were we can talk about some under appreciated shows that don't have threads and get some ideas about good stuff to watch.

I just finished getting caught up with Supernatural a couple days ago, which I started watching after getting sick of my friend telling me how good it was. I finally took the plunge and almost immediately fell in love with the show. It mixes comedy, action and suspense perfectly and has an awesome premise to the show (two guys drive around the US in a classic car blasting 80's rock and killing demons). It may not be the most sophisticated show, but its damn entertaining.

  6. Just continue now. I want to read your reviews at the end, when you're hallucinating and the shit you are writing becomes even more ridiculous. As for albums, I'll throw a guilty pleasure of mine with "The Inevitability of a Strange World" by Halifax. I'm kinda interested in hearing what you'd say about it.

  7. I can understand that some people could think that it is bad cinema, but it not even a case here. She is frightened that I could laugh at the prostitute pierced in a head, and Cameron Diaz result of the Christian Roofer in a head with a coat rack repeatedly. As she does not know, whether there can be it with someone who finds casual murders, the guys reaching, have moved, and three amusing dogs on legs. But if to consider a picture in general. The film devilishly was pleasant to me!

Best new poster ever. He types like Borat speaks.

  8. I enjoyed the final episode for a variety of reasons.

The biggest reason is the ending of the Maryanne storyline. Yes, it did drag on for far too long and got too weird for this show (which is really hard to do) but they ended it perfectly. Sam goring Maryanne and pulling out her heart was a nice touch too, doing to her what she did to too many other people. Getting rid of Eggs was a nice bonus too. I'm curious as to what they're going to do with both Jason and Tara after this.

The Jessica/Hoyt story is shaping up nicely too. I'm glad Hoyt finally told his crazy ass mother off and at least tried to go back to Jessica and its going to be fun to see what happens now that she's killing truckers and feeding on them.

Finally we come down to the whole Sookie/Bill thing. I've made it known that I don't really give a shit about either of them (although Evil Bill from back in the day was cool) and I just want something to make them interesting happen. Sookie honestly is too dumb to live, I'd like her to stop crying out for Bill every time some small thing happens. I'm interested in seeing what happened to Bill though. It could have been any number of things, and hopefully next season gets even better. Are we going to take any guesses on what happened to him? I'm going with Fellowship of the Sun. They haven't made an appearance in a little while and their craziness is obviously not over yet.

My list would be something like this right now:

    1. Eric

    2. Jason and Andy

    3. Lafyette

    4. Sam

    5. Jessica and Hoyt

  9. Well that sucks. Knowing that he was suffering from cancer at the time, his preformance in "The Beast" is even more impressive. I think he would have had more success with it were he able to continue shooting it. Sucks that he went so young though, 57 is way too young to pass.

  10. I've enjoyed all three POTC movies and I'm excited to see what they do with this. Getting rid of Bloom and Knightly was necessary, as there is absolutely nothing else to do with them really, at least Knightly. I could see Bloom's character making an appearance if they decide to continue the movies further after this though.

As for the new characters, the Puppeteer thing sounds interesting but it really depends on the actors brought in. I thought both Bloom and Knightly worked extremely well with Depp, so as long as they can find an actor and actress that do the same I don't see any problems.

It'd be nice to focus a good portion of the movie on Rush and Depp though, their characters are awesome together and I thought Cpt. Barbosa was one of the best parts of the third POTC movie for sure.

  11. This is totally a guilty pleasure show for me. It's pretty light-hearted unlike a lot of other stuff I watch plus its funny to boot. Everyone is pretty one dimensional right now, but its only two episodes in, I don't even remember anyones name yet.

I don't know if its written this way but the guy's wife is horrible. They seriously need to give us something rather than "shes a bitch with a bitchy controlling sister (her possible future self) who works at a linens n things type store and wants to pop some kids out. Maybe they're trying to say that first love is truely blind but she's fucking awful.
