  1. I'm such an idiot when it comes to Photoshop, really should have gone to those classes.

What I mean is, I have a page where I need to get 3 or 4 cropped images onto it, but when I crop one image I don't know how to get that image onto the page with the others, or how to even get back to see the page that has the other images on...

There's no way I'm passing this test. Ah well.

  2. I really like it. Virgin Radio played it in full the other week, without a break for about an hour and a half. It is very, very good. The new versions of While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Strawberry Fields Forever are my favourite tracks.

  3. Even though Juventus are about 50 times the size of Man. City, they don't sell out the Delli Alpi. It's a shithole of a stadium which their fans hate, and most of their fans are from outside Turin anyway.

With Juve being reccomended to go to Serie C, most of their players have said they will leave. Del Piero is the exception, although rumour has it Nedved will stay as well. Mutu has already joined Fiorentina, Cannavaro, Veira, Emmerson and Buffon have been heavily linked to follow Capello to Madrid.

The 4 teams may well recover within a few years, but this is something that has to be done. Stripping Juventus of their last 2 titles is also part of the punishment.

  4. Buffon

    Zambrotta Ferdinand Cannavaro Lahm

    Pirlo

    C. Ronaldo Ballack Zidane

    Klose Totti

Whether Ronaldo will be remembered for diving or not, he's still had a good tournament, Portugal's best player by far for me.

EDIT: Why can't you set out your team in a proper formation? It look's great here.

  5. Kuszczak had a great game at Goodison last year, saved everything, and nearly saved the equalising penalty.

    And:

Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of Emile Heskey from Birmingham for a club record £5.5 million.

The 28-year-old England international penned a three-year deal at The JJB Stadium after agreeing personal terms with the Lancashire outfit.

"I want to play in The Premiership like every player does," Heskey told the club's website.

"What Wigan have achieved over the past few years is nothing short of amazing. I've talked to a lot of mates within the game and they have said nothing but good things about the manager and the way the club is run

"I was very impressed with how Paul Jewell sold the club to me, the ambition there is here and the role he sees for me. I can't wait to get started."

Latics boss Jewell was delighted to have concluded the deal.

"This is a major coup for Wigan Athletic, make no mistake," he said.

"I have said all along I want to bring real quality performers into this club and Emile fits into that category.

"He is the most high profile signing this club has ever made, but I've not bought him for his reputation, I've bought him because I know what he can do on a football field.

"He's played over 300 Premiership games, he was a mainstay in the Liverpool and England attack for several seasons and has played and scored in both the World Cup and the Uefa Cup.

"We have been monitoring the situation for a long time as regards his availability, and there were naturally several other clubs interested in a player of his quality.

"It speaks volumes about how far we have come as a club that we have beaten established Premiership clubs to net a player of his stature, just as he has reached his prime.

"I can understand Steve Bruce not wanting to sell him because he has been a big player for him and I expect Emile to make a major impact at Wigan, because he has the talent, the drive and the attitude to fit into the team and play a major part in our development. Of that I am totally convinced."

  6. I really like Arsenal's shirt, as well as Chelsea's away kit. Not a fan of Villa's, Fulham's, or Spurs'. Newcastle's away shirt goes without saying. The rest are all just about average.

Everton's home is nice, not sure about the little desgin on the shoulder though.

  7. Has anyone downloaded the patch, with the updated transfers etc? I've managed to download it, but I get an error when trying to update, any help?

I've registered at SI Games to ask there, but you have to wait until you're accepted.

EDIT: Got it sorted. If anyone else has a problem were it says the process is being used by another program, or something similar, restart your comp. It worked for me

  8. Going on players I've seen play, the 3 I would want back for Everton are:

    1. Thomas Gravesen - We havn't been the same since he left, he was our driving force in the 4-5-1 formation. No other midfielder at the club can control the game like he did.

    2. Wayne Rooney - Speaks for himself. I hated the way he left, but I would love to see him back.

    3. Dave Watson - A real leader at centre-back. David Weir is a really nice guy, and could do a job still in the Championship, but he isn't a leader. We need someone to organise our defence.

All time, it would probably be:

    1. Dixie Dean - The original big number 9, one of the greatest goalscorers in the history of the game.

    2. Neville Southall - One of the top keepers in the world through the mid 80s, a real Everton icon.

    3. Bob Latchford - Another big number 9, and one who was a real hero for Everton fans older than me. The Latch was the first player for years to score 30 goals in a season.

  9. I've had this on my computer since a freeware version was linked to in a Football Manager thread, and have only really decided to give it a go just now. Any help on how to actually get it going? I've extracted the files and whatnot, made sure its compatible, but when i go to play i get a message saying USM98.EXE has a problem a needs to close.

    Anyone? Thanks in advance.

  10. I'm downloading the demo now, 1 hour 3 minutes at 12.9 kb/s

And I also cant get USM98 to run.

    EDIT: That's now 4 hours, 12 minutes at 3.47 kb/s :crying:

2nd EDIT: It's downloaded, and I've been playing for about an hour. It's pretty damn good.
